Nobody wrote Aribo off.
He is not a midfielder.
He reads games very poorly, and can be completely lost in games, just running around and sweating.
The midfield is about control. You cannot control a game, if your reading of the game is poor.

I have found Aribo not knowing what to do with the ball in midfield on countless occasions, just clueless, He is the back passer in chief.

Aribo is a fine dribbler and has eyes for the final pass. Aribo displays his excellency whenever he is close to the 18 yard box, where he can either dribble a player or two to get a shooting chance, or make the final pass that can result to a goal scoring opportunity.
Aribo is not a central midfielder. The sooner our coaches understand that the better. He will be better as a winger or support striker in a 442.
I know a lot of people will not agree but its obvious. He cannot control a midfield or read a game.
Its a misnomer playing him in midfield

On the contrary, you are the one that's a joke. You want them to call players that will later go and play in Malta, Lithuania, and Hungary when we have AFCON in 4 months time?. Players that couldn't qualify for ordinary CHAN? The way we reason in this country is definitely different from other normal people.
Divine Nwachukwu (The Bendel insurance midfielder) should please
not run away to latvia. He seems a good player and has received a call up of late
He should wait until the next chan and then go to belgium or holland where he can build a good career in Europe
With a good coach the homebased should qualify and do well in CHAN.
NFF should wade into the matter and monitor the way our npfl and even academy players run to obscure leagues.
it is getting horrible. Their career should be monitored as they are part of Nigerian football.
it is better to win chan champions league with Enyimba and if you must leave go to lens fc of France
when you are 24 than go to obscurity in malta or latvia.
unfortunatelly Nff is not organized and is corrupt and so everything is in shambles.
NFF should put their house in order.

“I Will Be Free From FIFA Ban In 2024 - Siasia

"I thought I was going to be free by this year (2023), and I was so excited. But I had to look through the document that FIFA served me, and I found out that it was going to be next year. By next year, in August 2024, I will be free from the FIFA ban, and hopefully I will be back to football.

"Irrespective of what happened, I have learned my lessons, but FIFA, who initially gave me a life ban in football, could not prove anything wrong with what they claimed I did. But they had to reduce it to a five-year ban, and it will expire next year. I thank God for that.

“It has been terrible to be away from football for five years, but I am preparing myself to come back to football, so I have to prepare myself so I can start ‘running’ once I resume by next year.”

-Samson Siasia

The reason why we did not qualify for the olympics and the home based CAN was because Siasia was not around
He does well at youth level and is one of the few Nigerian coaches i really trust.
Our football badly needed Siasia
He also nows how to get the best of our home based and youth players and integrate them into the national team.

You are missing the point which is that you can't make it if you ain't talented. Those other variables you mentioned are secondary and they can't make you a good footballer if you don't have the talent already. Children of most footballers don't have talents but they are disciplined, taught how to work hard and be determined, but yet they fail at th end.

Most footballers from South America and Europe make it with only innate talent without discipline, hard enough work and determination, even though they don't last long on the scene.

Do you know as disciplined, hard working and determined as Justin Kluivert can be, he doesn't have what it takes to reach the height Baloteli attained
Yeah natural takent can get u to some extent. After that u need ciaching with discipline.
An example is gift orban. He is obviously a raw talent from street football to best player in belgium and European league record.
However to thrive in a top 5 league he needs tactical training duscipline humilitu and he needs to learn.
I mean to play in chelsea real madrid etc ge needs some polishing

He sent 350k to a random girl he doesn’t even know just to get her attention😆.. Later he’ll come out to cry that she’s a gold digger 😂
i am not too good with women
but i collect ladies phone numbers while walking on the road
without giving them money.
in fact i can collect 10 in a day if i want.
Also in a few weeks or months i have their attention or even their body if i want.
im not too good with women and to some bad boys im basic as guys bang girls in a few days
but at least i do not have scarcity or money mentality nor do not lack confidence

Simps do not understand or know who women are or
how to relate with them.
Their relational strategies are too simplistic and ineffective.
i just know some basic things and i at least can succeed at a level with them.
Simps need to try out other strategies but their belief system bleeps them up.

Also i dont totally blame women for exploiting simps
every human being likes money and will use what he or she has to get what he or she wants.
Simps dont understand women are human beings like them with their faults and foibles.

In fact, as basic as i am in understanding, i have to make sure im not around
girls because i have a call into the things of God (as in ministry)
and because i have a destiny with God as God has called me to be a pastor
i must move closer to God and make sure i dont fall into sexual sin.

Women are really easy. I remember a lady i seduced (I mean the seduction was spontanous)
I was in her house we were talking and she just kissed me and we made love.
I cant remember giving her money
From there, the power was in my hands
Anytime i was comming, she became jittery as she could not control her sexual feelings for me
She was the one that was shy
I just read a little on how to seduce women and put some basic things into practice thats all.
And to be honest, i dont understand much just basic things and a little research here and there
Simps have no basic understanding of women and seduction.

There is a reason some animals are cold blooded and some are warm blooded while some are amphibians.

Take a fish out of its natural habitat and you get a dead fish. Players need to look before they leap. I know a lot of folks will say players need to adapt to all situations and all teams but forget something called SWOT analysis
Onuachu loves long balls in a club that existed and has its own style of play. Question is how does he fit into the puzzle? No club is goin to abandon its philosophy just to accommodate a player's singular strength. We see this in the case of Iheanacho who likes playing with 2 upfront as a second striker which meant certain individuals cannot play when this happens and club's philosophy is threatened.

Tell our boys to look before they leap. Some challenges aren't worth taking. If it's not working, get out and try elsewhere.
Onuachu is different. He is too technicality limited. He cannot do anything eith the ball on the ground, is not mobile, is not aggressive, is not skillfull technical or anything.
Iheanacho can still play as a lone striker in some situations and us technical. As long ad you can do things with the ball at your feet pass or dribble you can be accomodated.
Onuachu is too one dimensional for most coaches to cope with.
In a physical team he is not aggressive or mobile. In a technical team he is not technical at all. What do u want coaches to do.
He is the most one dimensional player i have ever seen.
Awoniyi is also physical bug he is technical and mobile. Check out his pass for elanga for his assist today.
Onuachu dies not even have good hold up play. Some coaches will simply get fustrated.

They can arrange to have the contract postponed by a year if possible.
I mean a pre-contract can be signed that he will join the club next summer or at a stipulated time

COACHING IS THE FUNDAMENTAL PROBLEM WITH NIGERIAN FOOTBALL

Coaching is the basis of development in football and sports.
Coaching to football is like teaching in education.
A good coach will product 50 good players
A bad coach will produce 50 bad players
Nigerian football administrators dont take coaching seriously.
We don't do fundamental things the right way in this country
Our players are badly coached that is why as talented as they are
they end up in obscure leagues.
Recently Finidi Gorge was not allowed on the bench in a caf champions league match
because he does not have the minimum Grad B coaching licence.
IF WE DONT DO SOMETHING ABOUT OUR STANDARD OF COACHING OUR FOOTBALL DEVELOPMENT WILL REMAIN
LIMITED.
The way a NIgerian football is what a 15 year old boy in chelsea academy knows a 22 year old Nigerian footballer
is not even aware of it.
Footballers in the country have their developmental weaknesses exposed abroad as a result of the absence of good coaching. The finest Nigerian players abroad nowadays hardly pass through the league system because there’s almost no development in that regard, greatly due to the NFF’s failures.

https://soccernet.ng/2022/04/nigerias-coaching-struggles-and-the-culpability-of-the-nff.html

In fact, i once read somewhere that the npfl players look like bush people (araoko) when they come
to the Super Eagles camp. They do not even know basic things like zonal marking or first touch for a striker
The average Nigerian footballer is like a chemistry student who does not know basic things like how to
balance a chemical equation, atomic number, isotope etc and is about to do his SSCE.
COACHING IS THE BASIS OF FOOTBALL

You are trying to turn white to black and red to blue, you are beyond redemption with your misinformation and disinformation.

This is humility in your definition, on arrival at Huesca Nwakali was shipped out on loan (too poor quality) . Yo add insult to injury, they couldn't wait to get rid of him tried to end his contract prematurely illegally. In addition he was the second to lowest paid player at Huesca.

He then goes to an even lower club than Huesca, which was Ponferradina a near bankrupt club. He is so good in the Segunda division nobody wanted him. But according to many here he was the best Midfielder in the Segunda division.

He now goes to an even poorer club for less wages in the name of Chavez FC .This is a club Enyimba will flog comprehensively.

And in your definition this is humility.

You can't change the facts to suit your FALSE narrative.

Nwakali has been poor quality and that's why he is surrounded by very poorly paid and low quality players like himself in Chavez FC
i am not an expert but
(1) Chaves came 7th last season. That is encouraging and not poor
(2) The Portuguese league is better than the spanish second division.
(3) Since 20016 they have been in the Portuguese first division

A team lie this in a respectable league cannot be described as poor.
i mean perfomance of a team is just not by one or two matches but over time .
The portugues league has produced ronaldo figo rui costa diogo jota
The league has even won the champions league and benfica recently defeated arsenal.
to come 7th in such a league demands respect

Your own take on this sub-forum na to dey disparage the opinion of others, not that your contributions are any more intelligent. If Ndidi, Onyeka and Aribo are injured (which is a high possibility given their injury records)

Which other midfield options do we have other than the ones I listed? You have the floor to name your perfect list.
To be honest with you even when they are available they are mediocre. Only Ndidi and iwobi is really above average.
onyeka and aribo cannot really win a midfield battle.
Anyway i suggest we should try fisayo dele bashiru in midfield (at least he is getting regular game time in turkey)
Also in the world cup qualifiers and friendlies we should try daniel daga as a dm.
he seems impressive.
Dont listen to people like him who cannot come up with solutions.
Raphael onyedica might be better than this aribo and onyea but people again will not listen.
as per aribo he is better off as a winger in a 4 4 2 formation or as a support strier.
The problem is that Aribo is not really a midfilder. More of a support striker or winger who can play in midfield some times.

The bolded is simply not true but a lie you tried to sell. As soon as Osimhen got the chance, he flourished.

The fact is that there is more competitions for Africans in creative midfield roles. That is why Mikel with all his talent never played a creative midfield role for Chelsea. He only played a a defensive midfielder.

Even Yaya Toure found it difficult to play a creative role for Barcelona despite being one of the best talents in the history of the game.

Iheanacho made his breakthrough as a creative attack midfielder and was converted to a hitman because of the same issue.

Iwobi broke out as a creative midfielder and found it difficult to cement himself in that role.

That is why it is difficult for Nwakali to just breakthrough and why we have little Nigerians in such roles.

Finally, Osimhen was always good it was just your blatant hate that made you tag him not good because he was not getting an opportunity.

Finito.
The bolded is true. There is discrimination against africans playing the creative midfield role.
Europeans believe Africans cannot play as creative midfielders and so dont encourage them.
This is a quote from a website
Ian Hawkey touches on the subject in his all encompassing book Feet of the Chameleon: The Story of African Football.

“More and more the notion that Africa’s football exists in service to Europe’s professional game dictates the type of athlete clubs, schools and academies promote. ‘Sooner or later when you speak to a coach in Europe, who might be interested in a young player,’ says one scout employed to survey African talent for a leading British club, ‘they ask you “so what’s his aerial elevation like?” They want big, tall, strong players first of all.’

“There is a prevalent stereotype among recruiters that the best sort of footballer to look for in Africa is the quick striker or the muscular defensive midfielder...Europe’s acquisitive eye shapes the very shape of an aspiring African footballer,” he says.

We have been missing Ejuke.
He understands the game more than all our wingers.

I said it and i repeat, Chidera Ejuke is more intelligent than any winger that has featured for the Super eagles in the past four years at least.

Samuel Chukwueze has been improving in leaps, especially in his understanding of the wing play dynamics.

To explain Ejuke's intelligence – in the game against Tunisia, Ejuke tried to use his speed, movement and dribbling to affect the defensive shape of the Tunisians, he was looking for an opening and tried to see if he could drag some players with him, but the Tunisians aside crowding their box, were also defending in zones.
Besides hd can play in 442 formation as a winger. I 100 percent agree with u.
