Kai there are many children on this thread.Or should i say unenlightened.

Rusia is and has always been Nigerias strongest ally,( my opinion) they have had the best interest on Nigeria at heart with no strings attached .Better than the US and the UK.

Im not sure as to why yet ,perhaps its their belief soveriegn states should really be sovereign while the others gave assistance with a control string attached.but thats my opinion.

Its in Nigerias interest to work with rusia if she wishes..if in doubt ask how has military support from other countries helped till date in our battle against insurgency

Imagine if Ghadaffi had Rusias support...in addition Putin is smarter than Trump....less likely to abandon ship like trump (e.g the kurds) and will give help if he says he will. The analysis of power favours a russian alliance anyday

Toks2008:
It's a good thing as it will also stop female students from harrasing the lecturers with their sexuality in return for grades...works both ways.
Lecturers are not harrased. They lack self control in Nigeria but not abroad.Whats the difference.

Its an enviroment that tolerates abuse by the lecturers unbated in Nigeria. That must be addressed.
PoliticsRe: Sex For Grades: Atiku Praises Senate's Reintroduction Of Sexual Harassment Bill by phineas: 5:08pm On Oct 10, 2019
But lets all be truthful...female collegues where more serious than male counterparts back in Uni

Women attended classes, took notes and did discusions and generally took studies more seriuously than male counterparts

While sex for grades is true in some instiyutions and departmengs. Im worried we are about to disregard the academic efforts and achievements of Nigeria women. One lecturer even said up to 80 percent of Nigerian women graduated with sex for grades

We all know this is not the case.Let us be careful not to villify our institutions and drag them down.

Shame the act.the culprits.the schools and the departments culpable.but dont loop all Nigerian schools and all graduating women into this .That will be a grave injustice.

Truly Black man has no capability to govern himself. Switzerland, Japan, UK, and lots of other European countries have no single resources, yet they are that wonderful, running efficiently. We have oil at all, yet we keep making stupid excuses day after day, running down the country. Imagine if there is no resources? Lol, na him be say, here go be just bush, people using wheelbarrow as cars. No banks no schools no hospital, nothing modern . People will probably live like animals in the bush.[/quote]Nigeria main problem is with her population. We have the same qty of oil has UAE but see the diff in estimated population 11 million vs 210 million.

If thats not alarming just imagine the average woman is said to have 7 kids in Nigeria and 50 percent of this 210 million population are young persons in child bearing age.

So in the next 20 years the estimated population from 210 million is just unimaginable

Nigeria needs to address its population explosion and numner of children per family.Thats what the other Nations have done which helps their country show value for money. especially your darling europe. And the Saudis has well and other middle eastern countries

We need to address our population issue or else our income as a country may never be enough to cater for all adequately

For anyone who cares to listen or know,as regards foreign Interests Mr Jonathan was good to Nigeria.Such decisions are not always as direct as he put them.what was offered and with what strings or clauses attached.

Mr Jonathan was known to put National interest first in many decisions with foreign powers. In that the Man was awesomely patrroitic.

The burden of proof is on Mr Cameroon or whatever is name is.He cant slander people in his book with no proof.I hope he gets sued if he cant prove it. He needs to say exactly what kind of "help" and its conditionality that was offered and rejected. With proof only. His word is not enough.

The audacity to rewrite history because they think they can needs to be addressed if the history is wrong it will be a bad precedent been set to malign our people our history and leaders. Its the narrative they will teach children when everyone is long gone. Every wise African would stand against it.

This one is for the farmers.Nigeria can feed Nigeria.forget all those paid economists preaching its not in our interest to achieve self sufficiency in rice production. Those ones have sold their birthright for money. If they are Nigerians they are the defination of betrayers, they are betrayong entire generations

Nigeria has land,a large teaming young population mostly unemployed, excellent weather.Yet our farmers struggle for sales for their products with imported goods. With the supervision and cordination of our neighbours(the largest rice importers in Africa..6th Largest in the world). To get the full picture add the Niger rice imports to it. All at the expense of our farners, and youth unemployment. And some people are against sokutions to address this,is that not madness? The importers should buy Nigerian rice.Farmers should cultivate more.More young persons will be rice farmers and get rich. End of story.

Borders remain shut till we fix the rice value chain to rely on local production, till we fix smuggling and make it no longer lucrative.Anyone that says otherwise is a...........

Meanwhile if 300 children where found there thats 300 families in just 1 LGA.The matter is an epidemic, all pretence should stop

Ministry of women affairs shoukd use them to set an example.

Ivite every parent with wards in the school for interogation.Any parent very vocal or timid in their support for the institution should get 6 months in jail woth hard labour for child endangerment

The ward should be taken from their care.

If they could arrest the woman who locked a child in the dog cage, caregivers who beat their househelps and parents who scared their chikdren .why should these ones be spared?

We cant have a different set of rules for the North. This is not about religion. Its about how we MUST protect children... Children are the future of our land.Bastards must not ruin their innocence for selfish wicked reasons. This is our moral duty as a people.Every one with the power to address this that fails to do so will stand in judgement for it one day

jubrilELsudan:
Have you lived in South Africa? Come here and see the horrible things Nigerians do all in the name of hustle.

I have been based here in Johannesburg since 2004.

I went to Wits university. I work here in a top I.T firm in Bryanston. I live in Dainfern. Despite all these, ignorant brainwashed south africans of all race still see me as a drug dealer because our 9ja brothers have vapourized our image here.

Here in Johannesburg, Nigerians that I have had dealings with have brought me more harm than even the south africans. They are so dishonest and untrustworthy.

Majority of 9ja boys here are into either drugs , yahoo, human trafficking , kidnapping , armed robbery and all form of illegal businesses and crimes. And the 9ja ladies are into prostitution and running after rich old white men.

Nigerians here don't even want to see another nigerian doing well and living a better life than them.
On a day like this you need to shut up and take a back seat. What's the percentage of Nigerians in SA that the country blames them for their drug problems?

Even if this is true how is mass hysteric assault on you countrymen acceptable even if they were truly guilty? What exactly are you condoning?

You do realize these Nigerians are family men and women with children?if you have a problem with them deport them back to their homeland, don't rob or kill them, dont goad your citizens on when they assault them

SA citizens made themselves the judge jury and executioner on this matter. They gave a dog a bad name so they can kill it and you are there owning it. Don't be a bastard. Don't.

Just be quiet and while at it repent of your evil thoughts and words to your own people

For the SA a city that rejects and harms strangers brings a curse on itself and it's people. SA has robbed itself of the goodwill of its brethren. In your day of trouble lets see who will rise to your aid

As for Nigeria. Our country will Continue to grow stronger and better

Where do we get these rhetoric from? What makes you think Nigerians are more corrupt than other African nationals? South Africans have been doing drugs and violent robberies decades before Nigerians started flocking to the country. BTW Zimbabweans control the drug cartels in parts of South Africa.
You mention Ghana, those ones are even worse. Gbanains have been defrauding nationals from every other part of the world who go to Ghana with the hopes of buying some legendary Ghanaian gold.
Africans generally envy Nigerians because our mindset and attitude to work is quite different from theirs. Nigerians intimidate other African nationals, without making any concerted effort.
A friend had an interview (when she lived in Ghana) slated for 9am, and she got their at 8.45am while the Ghanaians didn't start strolling in till way past 10am.
Nigerians, please stop accusing fellow Nigerians of being the problem whenever there is an issue because you're only giving abusers more reason to victimize our brothers and sisters in diaspora.
Finally, all nations commit one level of fraud or the other but still get up to defend their citizens that have been victimized,in any country on earth.
Be proud, be bold, be encouraged, we are Nigerians!
Our crime statistics for our population is way lower than that of the SA and US they all look up too.

And SA dares call Nigerians criminals. Nigerians need to stop owning that crap. We have more honest hardworking Nigerians than any proportion of African countries

We have more female entrepreneur in Nigeria than any other African country.and I mean in percentages. Meanwhile we've not added the farmers o.

We need to write our truth.Every Nigerian plies a trade not to be idle. We are 200 million strong. The bad eggs don't define us.

How can a nation that desperately needs foreign investments to growth its economy be calling for the nationalization of existing foreign ones?So ,if it happens today that Nigerians in China are being treated badly, then the Nigerian government should also nationalise Chinese investments in the country. Those calling for nationalization ,especially the politicians, are saying it to impress gullible Nigerians .
We do not need or want FDI from countries that kill our people with no remorse.

But the people can respond at the level of the consumers.

Step 1.identify as many SA owned businesses and goods as possible. For example apples from SA, stores and services

Step 2:boycot them at the consumer level

Step 3:Watch their sales g down

That's patrotism

-Don't send ur subscription money to SA, Use Netflix instread

-Take time to port to another network

-If your friend has 2 lines call the other line so you don't dash MTN money

-if they call with an MTN line don't pick but call them back on another line. Buy your data on your other line

-check the sources of apples. Buy Cameroon and not SA apples

Ditto for other bussinesses,Watch their sales drop
That's a consumers protest that works,thats patroitism

The perspective is this money is more than our largest National budget (by far)

No company or court has the moral right to put a demand such as that on any country.

At best the company should state it's losses incured as a result of the deal and have it repayed.

Perhaps UK will be happy to see Nigeria as a failed State because of a judgement debt passed in their courts.

A president who had no problem or "fear of suspicion" when pulling off hundreds of millions of dollars illegally from the CBN to execute elections, is the same president whom some persons are now claiming deliberately did not pay a legally recognised judgement debt becasue of "fear of suspicion"?

GEJ deliberately did not pay that money, but not because of the above poorly fabricated political excuse. The reason GEJ did not pay was because GEJ wasn't stupid; for a country facing an imminent forex crisis, dwindled foreign reserves, progressively dropping oil prices/income and on the brink of possible recession, only a stupid leader would dole out $850million to ship outside the shores of his country at that time for a contract not even executed.
So why did he sign the agreement? Where was the money supposed to come from.

an very sure you didnt read the write. From that report, the person that still tried salvaging the whole situation is GEJ. Though he wasnt the author, under his administration, they reached an 850million dollars settlement. Rather than talk to them that they were trying to settle down to understand whats going on and pay that settlement, they were being stubborn and trying to pin it on the last administration. Now, they moved the figures from 850million to 9.sumtin billion, how smart?

Somebody should investigate this malami guy, he knowa about this increase and trying to tale advantage of the situation. sumtin is fishy abeg
GEJ salvage attempt was unpatriotic. That said GEJ was an economic buffon. This is clear and will forever be clear to all generations. The comparative indices of his reign to other reigns in Nigeria and globally will forever judge him. That is a key part of legacy. He is the example of how leaders must keep an eye on a Nations treasury in their reign

To be precise. GEJ agreed to that deal when oil was at an all time high ever! But staff in Nigeria were being Owed salaries on a massive scale with no bail out, our foreign reserve, and ECF were massively depleted and at the lowest recorded ever.Nigeria did not have a job to spare. the question is why did he sign the agreement.

Do not quote GEJ here

Did that contract add any value monetary or non monetary to our economy.

Why would any patriotic or sane leader agree to pay 8 million dollars that added nothing to our economy in a time of recession (oil price as low as 22 dollars from over 100 dollars and production capacity less than 50percent thanks to ND millitants) states were Oweing salaries there was no money then.do you guys know the meaning of National interest? This company offered NO SERVICE, NO VALUE, brought in NO MONEY. And some Nigerians had to guts to say Nigeria must pay...

We made the right decision challenging the fraudulent situation in court. That case needs to be studied well.It may be a classic case of how the west is corrupt and impoverishes nations by exploiting legal hoops in coinaivance with willing accomplices

in Germany, there is a different between police and private security.the police will never have the inscription security on their shirt or uniform.Police will have POLIZEI .so this video is just to justify their action that it was done in front of police.Even those who did this knows they have limit to what they can do according to german law.You can't assault anybody , not even your child.i don't like corrupt politicians but a situation in which a group thinks they can do whatever they like in Europe is bad. This is not Nigeria, nigerian matters should be settled at home.
the problem with this case is Nigerias response to it.The country is sometimes slow and indifferent about its official response to things like this.Sometimes its also people hampered by the jurisdiction of their offices,so there may be no ''office'' to handle this matter officially. As such no response from Goverment save the ministry of comms issuing a weak and ineefective condemnation.

The country must assign an agency or task force to this, there must be no assumption ''someone is handling this''. The task force/agency needs to respond ASAP,and get results in less than 48 hrs or else useless myths like this (''The German police was watching so nothing will happen if you also do this'')will continue to be spread and the very action continue like wild fire to the detriment of the growth also to the embarrassment of the Nation and the entire continent

But for those edging on the nuisances threatning our elected leaders, you all will pay. And I hope Nigeria insists on setting examples with the ex biafrian now German Warlords.

An advice to the responsible Government agencies reading this.Plese ensure a report is lodged with the German police and all diplomatic routes. if Germany is unsatisfactorily slow about bringing the culprits to book please note they have trade, agencies and projects in Nigeria that can be suspended till they change their mind on the pace at which this should be addressed.

This is a simple matter. The Nigerian police needs a set up a special task force. Link up with Interpol. Assign special numbers for incident reports in all embassies and treat all cases of assault to public officials as top priority

Make it a matter of international diplomacy/relations.Something like assault on our officials abroad is an assault on the country.Insist on the highest jail sentence for citizens of the foreign country, deportation for local citizens

The police need an identification process when in plain clothes operations to back their words

The new army owes the police and general public that justice is done in this case. The families of the slain officers need a trust fund. Please make it known to all how to support them
