If you go to church apart from Sundays then you have no business with me
Instead of working to make their contribution to making the economy grow, they will be spending hours idle asking for a non-existent manna from heaven Going to church more than once a week marks the onset of mental illness, a benign form. I have a female friend who finds one Church activity to attend almost every day. She thinks that all her life problems end at church. I don't know how to tell her that she might be mentally ill, and should seek professional psychological help. |

As a supporter of Buhari and the APC, i read this article with an unbiased mind, and there is a lot of home truth in it. Truth is, and after i just read this article is that we have a serious problem in the APC.
We need to get our acts together, and come back as a family.
This is not looking good. C'mon. APC was never a family. ACN was, but not a APC. ACN was a party of progressives with absolutely nothing in common with the other party of neo-feudalists that it merged with. The chickens are simply coming home to roost. |

If a Christian needs all that positive reinforcement every morning just to cope, then it should be obvious that Jesus supposedly died for nothing.

Church goer----->Doubter----->Deist---->Skeptic---->Agnostic---->Atheist
Some people don't make it all the way to the last step but any progress is good progress. That's why I say that atheism is not a rejection , but an ACCEPTANCE, an acceptance of reality. And it takes a long process to come to that acceptance. Many never make it that far. But, it is not compulsory that they do. Unshackling oneself from the bandage of religious beliefs is good enough. |

It makes you wonder, if the religion, the belief and worship of God, is a tool for every conceivable scam and other evils, then obviously, the perpetrators of such scams would know within themselves that the very notion of God is itself a scam. In other words, the perpetrators of religious scams, from Prophets, pastors, imams, priests, gurus, etc, are the worst forms of atheists, because knowing that there is no skydaddy, they use pretences to scam the needy and gullible public. Therefore, we can't just ignore the scams and focus directly on belief in God. The scams are directly connected and speak soooo much about the belief in God and the very notion of the existence of God. |

They sense you coming from your footsteps and hightail it before you even catch sight of them,
For any ecosystem to function there needs to be a flow of energy. Without it, nothing, not even humans, would survive. The urge to kill snakes is an evolutionarily honed impulse. I do wish that in this modern Age, reason and common sense would let us leave these these creatures alone. Snakes don't invade human habitats. We invade theirs. This impulse to kill every wild creature we see, just for the fun of it , must be curtailed. |

How many loans were given to SMEs with the non implementation? What happened to the reduced CRR, that already over compensated for the gov't/free money withdrawal.
The TSA is stipulated by the 1999 constitution, have a problem with it, seek for amendment, senator. No doubts, banks are the cesspool of corruption. There is no corruption case that doesn't involve a bank or two. The entire system is corrupt. So,was the TSA hurriedly implemented to punish the banks? This goes to the crux of my argument. TSA effect is negligible and is merely being exergerated by people who oppose the current admin for either political or economic reason. No sir. The effect is not being exaggerated at all. In fact, the destructive effects are mathematically predictable. Most people don't how banks operate , how they leverage deposits, how they create money, and how their credit- creating abiabilities fuel and expand economic activities. Because banks are highly leveraged, suddenly and forcefully removing N3tr , 4-5℅ of GDP from the banking system is a lunatic act that has mathematically predictable destructive consequences. The structural damage to the economy will take decades to undo. Mark my words. |

oduastates: Nothing to steal anymore Bruce. All those who used to keep government money in fixed deposits and pocketing the interest while staff salaries are left unpaid .
Government money goes to the government account. The banks should do what banks elsewhere do.
1 Develop products that they can sell to their customers. 2 Invest in start ups and take a stake in the business. 3 invest in critical infrastructure and collect tolls. e.g build housing or take stakes in building firms.
Monthly mortgage payment are like tolls. Likewise A Student loans B Road tolls C Toll bridges D Water.
If an when government need them for a programme(e.g to distribute bursaries, farmer's loans) , they will be called upon Lol. This guy doesn't understand the real role of banks in an economy. Banks leverage deposits to create money and credit , that in turn, stimulate and expand the economic activities. The amount of deposits the banking system has is directly proportional to the amount of money and credit they create to fuel economic expansion. Draining 4-5℅ of GDP from the banking system at once , for any reasons whatsoever, is unheard of, talkless of doing it in a monoproduct economy at a time economic contraction. |
