esere826: 6) I don tire. I'll take a break and continue some other time if folks are interested in not just going abroad to hustle, but to become respectable professionals capable of standing shoulder to shoulder with people from every race. It's funny how not so many people have noticed your write up.. but i have and i say Bravo! Keep the update coming. Though i'm not a newbie in travelling, yet i find it helpful. Thanks bro |
omar22: Please stop! its her choice!Bro, that's the general idea! Why do you think someone in his/her right mind will start this kinda thread, huh? |
So with all these faux pas over and over, could it be that Mr Jonathan is just overly dumbb to realize that he's being pushed to do wrong all the time? Isn't it rather obvious that he's working with the wrong team? Or am I thinking too much of this man? I mean expecting too much from his dumbness? Damn, i think i'm gonna be sick. |
nakedall: and this is what black dark continent referred to achievement from their rulers. in the real sense this suppose to be a common private radio station. they guy is wasting the tax payer money, well sha, he knew that his people no get sense, den go happy with the shit.Wetin your father wey get sense don ever do for your family? Not to talk of you neighborhood...you fukcing morron |
la Capri: See what joblessness has causes. Some people's dumbness just never ceases to amaze me. How could someone in his right mind tell Nigerians to leave the idiota president they elected into office alone? How old are you, by the way? And incase you are too young to know, this is not your average family problem where you tell your elder brother to leave your younger sister alone. This is a national problem, if ever you know what that means. |
Beaf: Gbagaun! Gbagaun!! Sku bell is ringing!Mr Beaf "The Almighty Teacher", it's OUGHT, not AUGHT. |
cap28: crap as usual- he can only impress 15 year old school girls who dont know any better.Shut your gob young man. How many of your so called idols can come out and tell his/her story this way? Even to your president, Goodluck. I bet you enjoy hearing and reading about the 419s and the drug dealers. |
ismhab: This one no be Nigeria.Ofcourse na naija. I know this building for Area 11. I go one 6 yr old boy bday for there some 3 yrs ago....Ol' boy, the party be like a wedding ceremony. Majority of us self no see the kid wey dey celebrate bday. GAR3TH: Well with cheaper labor and cheaper cost of materials it is easier to build a bigger house in nigeria than to build or buy one abroad.Well, i guess it musta been a while you visited naija. Majority of these buildings are far from cheap. Majority are multi-million dollars houses. Consider this, Land alone in Lekki is between N150m - N400m [ $1m - $2.5m] and in Asokoro where majority of the houses are situated, it's always between N300m - N1b [ $2m - $6.5 ] and that's just for the land. In addition, i'm not sure about the procedures you have to go through when buying a land in lekki but i'm in deep know about the Asokoro's. First you need to come forward with your proposed plan prototype. And you can be sure you're not contesting with any less of 20 people over the same lot. So on the paper, the best prototype gets to buy the land (don't forget the price has not even been set yet) but in truth, na the person wey "bride" pass, go buy the house. Which means, many, many under-th-table-envelopes must still exchange hands. So just eliminate that "someone living in one of those hows was a plumber" thought off your mind, except he or she is/was the Villa's plumber. |
Look at this neighborhood with Royce Royce Phantom covered up. Now that's what i call a Broke Country... ![]()
|
afam4eva: Can Nigerians buy?I just signed out of my Schwab account now... i bought some. And Yes i'm a Nigerian |
mamaafrik: haa ayeooo ọpọlọ ọmọ yiogbe gbẹnrẹn ọlọkọun. ![]() Now this fukcing crack me up.... Fukcing CLASSIC! Mikeli ooo, Mikeli oooo |
ballabriggs: A RECKLESS AND VINDICTIVE GOVERNMENT! THIS SHOULD NOT BE TOLERATED BY ANY DISCERNING MIND. GAMBLING WITH THE HEALTH OF THE NATION. TELLS YOU THEY'VE NOT GOT THEIR PRIORITIES RIGHT.You must be a very stupid man for saying that about the government. Who is being reckless here? The affirmative government or the stupid doctors who neglected the first law of their profession, which is to save life first and embarked on some lousy strike. So in your abundant foolishness, you believe it would have been better for the government to wait and engage them in some fruitless negotiations while a large percentage of the patients dies? You must be outta your freaking mind. Good one Fash, ride on! |
Cut this guy a break. He's a kid and he can do whatever he want with his life and his money. And those of you ranting shiit about his family feeding on gari and whatnot, you should find out about this guy. His father is freaking rich. A multi-billionaire as some has already pointed out. So let him be. If you're in his shoes, you would do more than that. Davido is not where he is today (career wise) because he has a talent but because he has the money to throw around and when i say have money to throw around, i'm talking about alot of it. So you can only rant all you want, he's still a well-off guy. Few weeks ago, some guys are i know... Michael and Bobby invited him to Malaysia for a show, this boy went on shopping-spree and dropped N2m big one on a couple of jewelry. You can only wish to do that right now. |
DOES it mean d other mohit members were not bringing in any income 4d label?dbanj was d only one whose album people bought?how is he d one buying cars and food for al d members as if they not working.very funny boy
Y'all really need to understand that Music Business (especially, at the level D'Banj is heading) is way more than just selling Pirated CD at alaba market. It goes beyond that. |
love4ual: MY WORD FOR EVERY AFRICAN YOUTH WHO IS FEELING THE PAIN OF OUR CORRUPT GOVERNMENT IS TO DREAM AS BIG AS YOU CAN...........AGAIN WATCH D;BANJ ON BET LAST YR AND MTV...................HE WANTS TO CHANGE THE GAME.........AND WITH KANYE THIS IS POSSIBLE.............B4 KANYE WILL DUMP HIM, HE WOULD HAVE ACHIEVED HIS DREAM FOR AFRICA......................I totally agree with you. First, let me start by saying Kanye will not drop him anytime soon, as this more about a mutually beneficent arrangement between them (I introduce you to America, we make money. You introduce us to Africa, we make money). And there is one important word that keep popping up all over the article which we all over-looked "Business-Man". As a business-man myself, i can tell you D'Banj is not even thinking about his music career with this move, he is more about the money. This is a long-term investment. I for one, see this move as the famous Puff-Daddy/Bad Boy move. You can liking the whole story to Diddy's. Nobody on this planet has ever accused Diddy of being a talented rapper but hey, he's the richest man in hip hop now. He was just a lousy music promoter, now he is music/business mogul. D'Banj paid his way into GOOD MUSIC, now has the ears of Universal/DefJam. Now the later is planning a move into african market (Good news for african artists), i can tell you that if D'Banj has a good team, he could end up being the Inter-Scope of Nigeria, atleast. And with that, he'd make loads of cash for the rest of his life and beyond. Don Jazzy needs to let go of all egos now and jump on the train. Even if shiit dont work out, it still worth trying. That's what i'd do if i were him (Jazzy). |
fubbyy: I took my time and read thE long story, its true that D'banj is arrogant and so concious of his success but there are truths in what he's saying, my advice to jazzy is to move on,as a good producer who has achieved fame,he can keep his ears on the street just like dre and pick some talented artists and nuture them to something,he's even at a bigger advantage than D'banj because kanye will kick him when he realise his mistakes@Bolded, did you even read the interview atall? Kanye, kick him out? Are you serious? What they have now is a Joint-Venture (if you don't what that means, then look it up on google), and it'll always be a win-win partnership for either side. And if i take my time to break down the whole possible scenarios of the whole contract to you, then you'd see that Don Jazzy is freaking loosing out for God sake (Hey, remember who brought Guinness Stout, Indomie, Nestle, B.A.T ...et al to Nigeria?). If you don't believe me, read about Jimmy Irvin and Inter-scope Record. fubbyy: The problem I have with people is this their hasty conclusion, that D'banj said don jazzy was scared, how do we know its true? You people have started slandering don jazzy already, tomorrow if don jazzy said his own all of you will change, all I know is that anybody can say anything, the truth I found in D'banj's statement is that the guy has a big dream for real not running don jazzy down, the guy is still arogant for all I know, mentionig cars he has bought is out of point and so egoish,itS funny he now calls jazzy not don jazzy anymoreHave you have ever bought a N1m car FOR YOURSELF before? I can authoritatively answer NO on your behalf. Cos you if you have, you would know the feelings that comes with spending a whole million naira buying a car for yourself. That being said, let's talk about how many cars he said he bought (majority of which are for his label boys and some ingrate car-crashing idiiots). I can tell you all those cars he claimed he bought (if true) would have set him back with nothing less than a 150 million naira (that's a lot, you'd agree). That includes the 2 Bentleys, the Aston and the 6 Ranges. Now here is my question to you young man, if you are ever given the chance in life to be in his shoes, spending that much on cars (most of which are not being driven by you), how would you honestly feel/act? |
buzugee: CASE 3 http://www.nigeriavillagesquare.com/forum/lounge/55418-nigerian-pharmacist-charged-beating-his-wife-death-baseball-bat.htmlInstead of wasting NL space, it'd be wise to just list out all the cases in a single post. |
• The Ministry has established a committee made up of credible and experienced persons from the private and public sector with strong technical component under the chairmanship of Mr. Aigboje Imoukuede to examine the claims of payment arrears for 2011 currently being made by marketers. This is to ensure that only genuine claims are honoured.Okay now they've been sacked, now you put another criminal there. AIG? Access Bank? We are in big trouble in this country. Sounds more like Soldier go, Soldier come situation here. |

Innovation at it's finest! Mark is really growing stronger by the day in his war with Google. And to those asking why Mark is acquiring Instagram and for that huge sum, do you remember you guys asked the same question when google was acquiring Youtube in 2006 for a staggering $1.65b? Now do you still think Youtube is not worth the investment? Next thing i think facebook will be buying soon is a Mobile phone company... I will guess RIM (maker of Blackberry) and it may even happen sooner than we know Kpac: Innovations is the way..... The bolded fvcking crack me up hehhhehehe ![]() |
For me, it has to be Lagos - Kano Many many Lagos - Abuja in Golf 3 back then. |

You can hate on Nigeria's past and present governments all you want, but, one thing you can't take away from them is, they are masters at delivering "Promises". All of them ![]() |
what a man can do, a woman can do (maybe, even better) ![]() |
blacksta: Please wake me , when they start building a plant until then na the usual talk and talkWell i will like to believe that this project will be a bit different from others. GE is one of the biggest (if not the biggest) Electric supplier in the world and majority of it's stake is own by Warren Buffet, and if you know that man, you'll know he doesnt joke with his biz. Plus, this is not in anyway political, it's strictly business, so let's be optimistic. |
The bastarrrd no see gwagwalada, nyanya, mararaba and all make he change their name, na the most beautiful district he go change hin name, Ewu |
