Dr_Jay02: The charge for Gt bank is N1000 which is approximately $7 per withdrawal and it works very well used it previously in Europe. The Gtb charge per withdrawal here in Canada is N400 and Fidelity bank is $4 Those two I'm familiar with very well. |
ChriGo: ...Thats cool buh its still better if the sch transfers the $$$ into other sch's account....just like my guy earlier said Naija peeps don abuse dat privilege...I can say that 90% of Nairalanders here be jaye jaye peeps so once dy reach dia na to go live Large with the tuition and ignore schThe way the guy wrote it like sey naso em dey deport, make hin stop to dey scare my guys jor... asin make he stop shebe! |
ChriGo: .....Mehn!!! dis na Yawa sha....so no show for jaye jaye boy like Tonyrero....am sure dats his plan....Thanks for that piece bro.....i wonder why Naija boys over dia dey spoil tins 4 we wey dey cum.....God bless NigeriaAboki I go disown you if you tell me sey you "fall" for that piece. moneybag100: Hello....house please can a family friend sponsor my study in Canada, I mean showing his bank statement and like how much should be on his account for tuition like 7k per session?Moneybag why you dey ask this kind question na cox I know sey money no be problem, your name alone fit sponsor you. We be naija so your family friend go be your uncle/aunt. The account should be like x3 of Your first year tuition and one year expenses of $10k. So bro do the maths. |
demoah: @Nasdaq is right. Trust me they will gladly deport you. Yes schools have refund policy but some Nigerians have abused the policy. They get here, demand their money and claim they wanna go to another school only for them to start living large with the money and not attend any school. If you truly have another school, I will advice this guy to get the admission letter, present the letter to his former school and request they transfer his tuition to the new school. Be warned! your school will never give you your tuition once you get to CA. they can only transfer it to your new school of choice. If you try to act funny, they will call immigration and its the last time you will see Canada.Schools have different policy to refunds, my friend got to canny collected his tuition cash and carry am go another school. Schools don't call immigration like that the only thing is they inform them that you're no more their student because you have their name on the study permit. The report puts one off-status until you get into another school. |
Princessterry: Thanks. I got the mail from CIC. The appointment was slated next week at Asaju. Do i have to wait to get a mail from VAC before going to collect the passport?.If your tracking status didn't change or yet to receive email from vfs it might mean your passport is yet to reach their office, it should be there by tomorrow and you can at the same talk to asaju to book you for Thursday no time to waste or ain't you for winter? |
Congratulations Dr Jay. |
Princessterry: Hi all, i have been following this thread and it has really been helpful. I applied for study permit via vfs and got a mail today to go for my medicals. I have booked with Asaju medical centre and i was told to come along with my original passport. The thing is that my passport was submitted during the application, please advise on when to go to VAC to get it. Also,is it advisable to go to Asaju medical without an appointment. Expecting ur response. ThanksIf you got the email from vfs that means your passport is there along with you medical instruction so go get it asap OR you could also use other international recognized identity but I don't know how it works. Its better you book before going to asaju. Best of luck! |
BlessedNkem: Was denied afta Medicals.Jst too funny n sad.luks lik am dreamin.sumone pls wake me up n tell me its a dream ooo.Its just a delay and whatever went wrong will be corrected as you reapply. |
No one should be expecting to start making it big once you get here... not that fast! You should be ready to begin from somewhere, its a matter of time and where you started won't be where you end. One can begin as a care giver and end as a professor of medicine #justsaying One could start as a cleaner and end as a big CEO bigger than Dangote. #justsaying Jobs are not automatic and there will always be more experienced Canadians pursuing that same big job you want. You chose to leave your home to a foreign land then be ready to accept the other part of it. |
ChriGo: .....Bro give description of that agent way dey arrange sponsors...am sure maple won't offer dis kinda service.....Sure some agents dey help arrange sponsor but wetin person wan come find for canny without a good sponsor. I'm sorry but personally I see these agents as abroad failures that ran or got kicked back home so having not much to do pushed em into agency. |

osssy09: Good morning house, please I will need a detailed advice I am a novice.. My Gf is a RN here in Nigeria, she is planning on going to Canada to further her study, How can she go about this? and also, can someone please tell me some cheap nursing schools in Canada? ThanksBros there are lotta schools here offering programs for international educated Nurses, use that as your search topic you'll sure find choices. |
ChriGo: ....8months course without coop nko?....Level matters bro....Ifa chill, if you read me well I didn't mention duration of program.... my point is make sure the job availability for the program is high. |
bamshy: If you aren't coming for Masters (Not that it's superior here), think of a 2-year PGD program and have some good cash on you. I have seen a lot of people who wish those two things were done before coming here. TRV is just the beginning... All the best friendsI think the most important thing is for one to do a program that is of high demand. The level doesn't really matter for a start. |
kayconsult: @ champion don't worry, you are on the right track if you are going in for a year PGD. There are lots of provincial nominee program for international students who are studying for their master or post graduate program, this depends on the province you intend schooling in. For instance, those that will be schooling in ontario can use the PNP to fast track there permanent residence permit.upon graudation and having gotten a job offer, your employer will fill a form called the pre-screen application form on your behalf, once this is done, you will then submit the form with other supplementary document to cic. Note the fee for internation student is $1,500,as soon as your application is positive, gbam, you will be a permanent resident holder with almost all the full benefits of a canadian citizen.http://www.ontarioimmigration.ca/OI/en/pnp/OI_PNPSTUDENTS_APPLY.html |
sparta_300: The bold part...does that mean that a PR's tutition fee will be cheaper as compaired to an international student?YES |
Jinnery: Hello House,Welcome to Canada! The bolded made me feel you actually meant PR all the same, you'll still be landed someday. |
Congratulations NasJay.... pls reload your energy more of it will be required in canny. Congrats again ![]() |
