Almost every other adjective he used for IBB turned out to be correct. Why would that his sexual orientation be wrong?

"On behalf of the patriotic and well-meaning peoples of the Middle Belt and the southern parts of this country, I , Major Gideon Orkar, wish to happily inform you of the successful ousting of the dictatorial, corrupt, drug baronish, evil man, deceitful, homo-sexually-centered, prodigalistic, un-patriotic administration of General Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida. We have equally commenced their trials for unabated corruption, mismanagement of national economy, the murders of Dele Giwa, Major-General Mamman Vasta, with other officers as there was no attempted coup but mere intentions that were yet to materialise and other human rights violations."

naijaking1: Can someone help me understand why a state government would "donate" vehicles to the Nigerian police that has it's own budgetary allocations.
How do you say 'bribe' in at the government house in Anambrahuh
Bribe? for what? Is he looking for a third term?? grin

Anyway while we may question propriety of such a donation, there the doubt state needs the backup. I was in Onitsha during the last hols it was not funny at all.
Car TalkRe: One Or Two Leg Driving For Automatic Vehicles? by plendil: 7:11am On Jan 04, 2013
oge4real: I just went out now to try using 2 legs for auto but I couldn't even get out of the driveway. I am yet to understand how anyone can actually do that.
LOL!

After reading some comments I tried it myself with an automatic, and perhaps because I drive manual quite frequently, my left leg instinctively jammed the brake pedal to to floor while the right was leg pressing the accelerator. Of course the car only jerked but refused to move.

I gave it another try forcing my left leg to let go of the brake pedal while gingerly depressing the throttle with the right. It successfully hovered over the brake before, perhaps in anticipation of an impending gear change, and mistaking it for clutch, I jammed the brake to floor again, . . .yeah, guess what happened! grin grin

I simply cannot imagine how people are able to drive normally like this.

Enugu indigenes at where, town hall meeting holding where, 50th year of whathuhhuhhuhhuhhuhhuh
Well, people have always labbeled you an ass licker, but this is where i lost it on you
I didnt want to post anything here before, but have to straighten your post. My brother is an inner circle cabinet member in that administration, and i can assure you that ''the news of Chime is a bad one''
Let us pray for him, and let Enugu's affair continue as he would have done if there. The N500,000 maximum benchmark he gave the deputy cant make the administration run smoothly. Face the Truth and say it as it is.
By the way, on the event of Onyebuchi assuming office as governor, The Nsukka governorship hope is dashed (More reason why there is consultation and secrecy sorounding Chime's status now)
God be with Enugu State
You really have to question the sanity of some of these apologists. Is it a case of protracted denial which of course psychologists agree could be a coping mechanism to deal with distressing situations, or are they simply protecting their political interests and really don't give a damn about his health?

If not I really cannot understand how anyone an explain his absence for more than a quarter of a year on some flimsy, incoherent bases of vacationing, 'testing his aides' loyalties', honoring an impromptu invitation abroad, etchuh??

I visit Enugu regularly and agree there is no 'palpable tension' as such; however, it is very obvious that all is not well with the governor's health.

We keep praying for him though.

blocker: coolIt is either the Deputy is sworn in or the speaker finds a reason to impeach him (automatically making the Speaker Governor till 2015). But what excuse could cause the impeachment of the Deputy by 2/3 of the house? A Deputy with no scandal while deputizing and who has up till now resisted the temptation to make pronouncement that people can capitalize on to term him disloyal? This bone is stuck to the throat of Enugu State Government and it can only go up or down.To the de facto Quartet (1st lady,SSG,COS and Speaker) 2015 couldn't have delayed much later than Chime's unexplained absence. We are watching.
@bolded, not possible. even if the speaker becomes govenor following the impeachment of the deputy he can only hold that position for three months during which a fresh election must be conducted.

geeez: 189. (1) The Governor or Deputy Governor of a State shall cease to hold office if
(a) by a resolution passed by two-thirds majority of all members of the executive council of the State, it is declared that the Governor or Deputy Governor is incapable of discharging the functions of his office; and
(b) the declaration in paragraph (a) of this subsection is verified,
after such medical examination as may be necessary, by a medical panel established under subsection (4) of this section in its report to the speaker of the House of Assembly.
(2) Where the medical panel certifies in its report that in its opinion
the Governor or Deputy Governor is suffering from such infirmity of body or mind as renders him permanently incapable of discharging the functions of his office, a notice thereof signed by the Speaker of the House of Assembly shall be published in the Official Gazette of the Government of the State.

(3) The Governor or Deputy Governor shall cease to hold office as from the date of publication of the notice of the medical report pursuant to subsection (2) of this section.
(4) The medical panel to which this section relates shall be appointed by the Speaker of the House of Assembly of the State, and shall comprise five medical practitioners in Nigeria -
(a) one of whom shall be the personal physician of the holder of the office concerned; and
(b) four other medical practitioners who have, in the opinion of the Speaker of the House of Assembly, attained a high degree of eminence in the field of medicine relative to the nature of the examination to be conducted in accordance with the foregoing provisions of this section..

Fine. But to Chime's credit he did handover power to the deputy before travelling out, even though observers claim the latter is more or less a puppet. The chief of staff is said to be running things.

Whether the speaker can muster the political will to convene a medical panel, in line with 189(4a,b)that would declare the governor permanently incapacitated and so pave the way for the swearing in of the deputy gov remains to be seem. But to be honest, I don't see that happening.
