see*noevil:Funny cartoon. I couldn't stop laughing! ![]() |
This situation presents a real opportunity for the right thing to be done. |
I don't see why people should not be allowed to party at the park, provided they don't stop me from using the road. Simple! |
'Youths in the town spotted him and attacked the police team. Sokoto was freed by the youths.' What does the above mean? Does it imply grassroots support for Boko Haram? Or are the youth of the town in habit of freeing suspects in police custody? something is very wrong here. It's a very bad message that the youths of the town support the killing of southerners and bombing of churches. In orders words they aid and abet terrorists! |
SE will most likely vote a presidential candidate of SE origin. The majority of SS might also go along this route for obvious reason. There are quite a number of credible candidates from the SE who with coalition with ACN can actualise the demise of PDP and unite the South. Rochas Okorocha of APGA readily comes to mind here. A suitable VP from SW or NC is all that is needed to sweep the carpet from the feet of the PDP. We have seen ACN coalition with ANPP and CPC producing no result. APGA and ACN coalition might just be the missing link. Time to put primordial sentiments aside and unite the South for greater good of the nation. Or back to the trenches of unfruititful suspicions! |
^^^ @Kuramo, that is a winning combo! It will not only get the opposition the presidency, it will destroy PDP and unified the whole south and the middlebelt. But can it happen? Especially with Nigerian unfounded fear of the Igboman. Or should we continue to vote PDP 'candidates'? |
Sad men in action! |
Negro_Ntns:It might be fair enough for Yorubas to be occasionally accidentally slaughtered in their own country by rampaging hausa/fulani bloodhounds, I wouldn't want my folks to be accidentally killed by any group. We are not going down as collateral damage! |
Your mandate is very strong Mr. President. Ride on! ![]() |

Can we have another of this ethnic bashing thread in the relevant section. Thanks https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-848548.0.html#msg9988389 |
Hi mods, Please move this thread to ethnic/tribalism section https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-848104.0.html And happy new year! |

A very strange country! Over 40 years ago. The good people of Niger Delta were deceived to believe that the Igbos they have lived with for many centuries were their enemies. They sold them a lie that Igbos were out the steal their oil and lands. They promised them heaven and earth to sabotage and betray the Biafra dream. Today, many years later. The oil have been used to develop lands far beyond the creeks; beyond the reach of the Niger Deltans. The lands that Igbos were supposed to steal have been degraded and destroyed with the same stolen oil; the waters of the creek dwellers is brackish with dead animals. The land and waters of Niger Delta has became an ecological disaster. It will be a travesty of justice, indeed an abomination if Niger Deltans do not have cities comparable to Abuja, by the time the oil dries up in the next 30 years or so. Taking back the resources, from mismanagement by 'owners of Nigeria' is long overdue. Niger Deltans and other mineral producing communities/states must take their destiny in their hands and damn the consequence. Time to act is now! Occupy your resources, Nigerians! |
Didn't know this thread was about beaf. I thought it was about Femi Falana condescending comment about the Niger Deltans. |
^^^ Why should he run away? |
Big B1:apt ![]() |
^^^ Which dude? |
“The deceivers are those we saw on the podium, addressing protestersNeed we say more? |
^^^ Well said! Yet they wanted to bury the man (GEJ) alive because he had no shoes (Godfathers)! |
lol. Funny picture. Those boys were all cozy and smiling; I thought they were 'militants'. ![]() |
Nice one. This is what is expected of Nigerians. Not the myopic, self-centered protest about fuel subsidy removal. Thank you Abians for taking the lead. |
^^ That was for abouazaids or whatever he calls himself |
^^^^ I thought GEJ is a retardeen? He could he plan and organise such sh!t as described above. And those who keep railing at SE about 2015, I will advise you to keep your insanity in check. There is 3 more years before 2015. The real issue is Boko Haram and whether Nigeria will survive the next three years is questionable. Keep your Igbo hate in check. No one region can determine the fate of the nation. Even two cannot! |
I personally would like the people of Jos and Benue to become part of the south in a divided Nigeria. but they need to start sensitizing their elected representatives and leaders on this potential. |
^^ Lol @ see*Noevil Jmaine is not one of them. He understand the time we are in. the most worrying dimension of the cheap oil is the Nigeria will soon run out of oil without any meaningful development of the Niger Delta. Yet some goons want it for free! |
Hmm, people will not learn. They keep imagining vain wishes. @Topic/Op the only way to remove GEJ is to wait until his tenure is over and then work and pray he does not offer himself for reelection. If he does, over 25 million of his supporters are ready to cast their votes for him again. Remove GEJ my foot. Nonsense talk! |
Nice move Femi. Now when will Bakare offer his church compound to the protesters. Or is that not the spirit of recent privatization of protest? Lol |
I am a strong advocate of #occupyyourwork. The sooner we occupy our work the better for us. When people start losing their jobs NLC will not come to their rescue. be smart Nigerian, go back to work! |
There is nothing wrong with the lagos carnival or protest. But there is everything wrong with blocking the roads and forcing other none interested people to join them. To this end, deployment of soldiers to ensure sanity and return of peace is in order. |
No victor, No vanquished! |
