Ghost1994: This comment made my day to be honest.
I have a kid, and have dragged wifey for 10yrs family planning kid is 4years now and I'm not planning to have anything called baby anymore if possible for the rest of my life am done with one.
Yes it's my decision am a car owner. Have got my life to live too so as my wife. Is only in nigeria I see many people not having just simple vacation with their family because they've got plenty children. Children doesn't bring wealth! na your work go make you rich not children. And if you dont have better planning for kids, they'll turn wayward and make you suffer cos you gets double hustle
I met one bros the other day, he was lamenting about how terrible ehailing hustle is and all sort of trash... I sit him down and analyse it to him. If I start my hustle on Monday, I must have 5k separately for contributions, 2500 separately for next day fuel and 2k am dropping in the house. Anything I make after that will go for savings still. That's my principle but this bros get 4kids already and on rental wife isn't working and am wondering how is he coping.
If you're young guy reading this and you've not married yet, have a plan sit your wife to be down. Dont bear kids you can't raise. If na 1 or 2 your power reach, kindly do so. Nigeria problems start from the population.
With ehailing, if you have better planning, and god com bless you say you be car owner wallahi you'll make it if you're focus. Start saving 5k daily that's 25k for 5days simple 100k a month. Live within your standard that's all but I see my guys going to club balling and competing with G boys or having multiple girls.
And if you're a married man/woman reading this kindly have a family planning just bear the one you can raise I believe 2 is very okay for standard of living in naija. Unless you're billionaire even the so called billionaires dont bear children like average and poor class.
All problem in naija can't wipe out by 2023 so please have a plans populations is the biggest problem naija is currently facing
I rest here Well said |

kanuisagoat: I am just noticing indriver includes the picture of the rider. Nice idea I must add. Chances of picking someone else is less.
I once picked one woman those days when bolt does not show destination. Started the trip and called out her destination for confirmation, she said that's not where she was going. That was when we realised she was meant to enter another vehicle. Had to drop her and apologised to my actual rider for starting the trip before picking her up. Pix ain't necessary, only if the rider feels like Inbtw, u have a tin for Indriver |

tojahh: This is not how this business is done, let no one deceive you by telling you that. How does it sound that someone will pay 120k for you to go repair your own car before he starts driving it yet you'll be deducting it from rental without interest? what happens when after the first 2 days on the job and the car broke down again to require another 120k? Just maybe another driver will eventually come to your rescue and the session continues.
Bros.. If I give you 120k. You will sign no rental will be paid in the next 2 months so that I can recoup my money back before we start to talk.

kanuisagoat: This right here is why I never do offline trips and one of the reasons I never travel out of town.
Some of them will want you to come pick them and still want to book you on bolt probably because they have promo forgetting the distance you covered getting to them.
I'll always take my chances with bolt. Well offline can favour, it's all depend on power of negotiation, the only downside of this is when u get use to a particular rider, than freebies is inevitable. |

The silly mistake I make yesterday still burn me till now. First it was pickin a wrong trip, tot it was Whitesand Lekki, I rushed down in order for her not to cancel on me, since it was bus stop, only for rider to hop inn and I realise, she's going to Ijegun area. Me, madam it can't work, ha! Today of all day plead with her and end trip. 3rd trip came with her trouble, olosho going to hotel, so controlling wit the demeaning mind set, maybe it's because of the extra 800 from the regular 1500 she normally pay to yaba from ikeja. We got to her destination and she went in to get money from the guy, came back with 3k, I only have 500 leaving 200 to balance her, I could have let her go with my 300, but she was kind of rude and hop into the car, abeg look for change, how? Find sometin buy or take me to where I fit buy cigar. I took her miles away, no where to get cigarette, had to buy what I don't need just to balance her. There she goes, won't u take me back? Madam! Too where? I'm off this trip, taking you back on which trip or u want to re-order wo! Jump byke. The pathetic part is when I left mainland to Island, I was having back to back trip and try as much as I can to avoid beach. Island was completely dry yesterday, before I could get a trip back to mainland took me 2 hrs while I would have made good money shuttling between Yaba, Surulere and Ikeja. I really regret that move. The most painful one that I'm trying to wash off, is getting a call from one lady Ard 12 mid night today. Please can you take me to Jibowu Ard 5am, I need to take first bus to East. Reluctantly I think through it and told her I can only do 5.30am and it's due to the fact that I've turned her offers down 3 times. I woke 4.30am, got to Ogba by 5.12am and notify her that I'm all set and out waiting for her to come out. This girl came out and ask me to take her to a park at Ogba and gave me 500 naira Seriously it's been bitter-sweet experience since yesterday.

Felicity001: How about food(sweet mouth), data, call card and other monies spent during the course of duty nko? Are they not supposed to be subtracted from gross earning?
Your real Net= Gross- (Commission + fuel + +airtime(data + call) + food + miscellaneous)
Miscelleneous: can include, gauging of your tires, buying of wiper, money given to beggars, securities, police, area boys, lasma, among others.
At the end of every week I carry out a rough calculation of all of these after paying my weekly rent to know how much I made for the week. But I stopped this like a month ago after my partner saw my record booklet inside my pegean hole that my weekly net was about 20k-30k alternatively, 2weeks after guy man called for increase in rent me I just dropped his car for am straight no time.
This is a car I drove for straight 2-3months without him carrying out a single expenses on the car oh apart from buying 1 tire. Some partners can be very funny shall. @The stop dis week... Brah, I've gat nothing but love and want to see u progress, but I guess we are back to square 1 or how much have we been able to save? There's nothing like having ur own car as small as it may be, it is urs. It is not my fault, it is dis, it is dat, can't u see, I've done nothing less than offering my best, " If every everybody is crazy..." Be mindful to the kind of clap you dance too, life! is like a game with no reset, days and years gone can not b taken back. Think about this #Peace |

Bammzzie: Bro, I dnt think u knw d meaning of zombie cos to me I'm seeing it as an insult to everyone of us here cos most of us here are doing this business to sustain a living either by full-time or part-time career and some lives such as families or friends depends on it too. I knw alot of salary earners that do borrow from Uber drivers. Some has fleet of cars in this business, are u telling me they are dumb to make that choice?? Go to all this Indian companies and see how they are treating people on top 20k salary with 6am-6pm rigorous work o, of which Uber drivers will earn that in a day or 2. Let Uber, bolt etc just pack off and see how unemployment will skyrocket in Nigeria. Lemme just stop here and dnt just be calling people zombies carelessly, I believe we are all mature here. #peace March 14, 2021... it's someone here, needless taking him serious |

peeps4u: The way you guys talk down on this work seems like an agenda.
Your earlier claim was that he could hardly make 150k in a month, after being shown how much he really earned, you now talk about the job being for zombies.
Isn't it better to be a financially healthy and independent zombie than being broke?
It is a good job from whence anyone can build his earning and move to something bigger. We have drivers here that already have 2-3 cars on rentals apart from their personal cars they use for uber.
Perhaps you show a better way of earning without stress. The last sentence tho, he ain't showing way, but casting one, black man and ITK mentality talking about black zombies as if the better percent of blacks ain't zombies. Yesterday I was coming from the island and looking thro all I remember how we all long to work on the island, feels like heaven growing up. Today, non of my siblings goes thro that routine again, they are over that, I've done my own little time too... you wake 5 rush to someone's work and get home by 9 for 20 years, absolutely nothing to show for it rather than flashy on debt life style, got sack and can't sustain the next 3 months. Uber-driver is not the next best thing, but at least these things take one of the street, if you are aiming to leave this country or further ur education, one can get things done via this. Bros abeg use ur head before pointin finger, cos the rest goes back to you. Go listen to Nas- Black Zombies |
