Lol. That area leading to toll gate from Ogudu isn't properly mapped. You 'll want to divert to ojota nd map would lead u to ikorodu.

Took some Chinese guys from vi when I just started driving on uber. They were going to Chinese village.
B4 I knew it i found myself at Ketu. The Chinese men shouted like a mad man.
Ketu sha, who has not been a victim of that calamity? Mine was avoidable, but its in my early start up days when riders can pressurise me into chicken... Picked this man at lekki phase 1 going to the airport, the way he yelled at his maid self send a quick shiver into me. He got into the car and ask me to speed up, I was doing 120 on 3MB, yet he wasn't satisfy with the speed, he keep checking the map and gave up when he saw traffic ard gbagada, so he ask me to take charge and in tune to pls my new Oga, I decided to use the Maryland turn to ojota, only to turn at the 1st ikorodu rd I sighted ard motorways that lead to Ketu, to make it worst I end up finding my self on the last lane where deh use to pack market stuffs at ketu road. The man jejely drop without saying a word grin I didn't even bother asking him for money, then it was all about star for me and not getting block for such calamity, deep within I was just praying he doesn't report me.

1) If you get there by 6am and he isn't ready till almost 7am, what happens?

2) What if you arrive by 5pm, and he doesn't show up till 45 minutes later, what happens?

And why is it #2500 per day? [/color]
The lady is smart, she knew what she paid last month, let her buy a car and employ d service of a driver. Damn! Oven can make a brother have a second tot on a clear issue.

Elders in the house, help me reason this matter.

I picked a rider this morning around 6am from Chevy View Estate on Chevron drive. He was going to Eko Hotel, mid way through the trip he asked if I stay around, I said Yes.

He wants me to pick him every morning at 6am from his house and 5pm at his office which is beside Eko hotel.

He wants to pay 2500 per day but payment will be monthly which is 50,000.

I am still considering the offer as I don't want to be committed to anybody, I hardly work during the evening rush hour.

P.s I stay at Ajah
from my view, it can't work, don't crack ur head over nothing. How much is she going to pay a driver with her own car? One of the benefit of this job, is you being able to determine your movement... Now u r constrain to wake 5am and even if you have a sweet trip around 3/30pm, your movement have to hover around island, forgotten you can b at still for 1hrs and be getting 500 naira trips cos you can't leave. Who is going to be responsible for tolls? What happens on days you have to visit the mech? What happens on your rest day? You can give it a try tough, maybe this path may lead to others, but believe me, you r going to do lots of stop over and freebies.

This thread is just filled with selfish, narcissistic, insensitive money mongers. I mean even though 2.9 surge is what the market is and is really not your fault but couldn't you at least show empathy? For a trip of 2900 someone ended up paying 8700 because of low supply of cars at that moment is that not heart breaking? Paying 300% of the cost of a service ?You yourself can you pay that without grudge? She felt like crying and that gladdens your heart? And to top it off you gave someone that just paid you 8700 for a trip of N2900 one star because you FELT she was going to give you one star! All we care for is about money in this country that we have forgotten how to be human.
Sorry bros, I can tell you have vex. We can do better I guess, but part of the problem in dis business have always been inferior complex and the sick society we've find ourselves. Mind; I have a problem wit him giving her 1 star, even if she gave him same, he is not even sure if she did, but he has done sometin within his jurisdiction and I have no right to pass my judgement, I can only say is not fair. I remember telling my lecturer, why can't lecturers and student reason and get along, rather than feeling they are both at war with each other, them feeling students r lazy and students feeling they are intentionally wicked... Same goes to drivers and riders, I don't know if I have same inferior complex too, but I don't have to pay for what I have no power over, we r all out to make profits, who made the rules that price must be 2900, if d price is low, drivers have the right to boycott the app and same apply for the riders, but channelling the frustration on me, will obviously meet same fate, unless I'm in spirit filled mode. I really praise those that took out time on Xmas (which I belong, didn't eat rice or chicken dat day) and yesterday to work, its a great sacrifice not to put up with your family and friends and yet we think money is enough to measure up for the moments and time money can't buy. That's not fair boss, if all drivers choose not to work yesterday, some ppl we b willing to pay double dat amount just to get to their destination, so its a relative situation which she have options and I see no reason why anyone have to live off emotions on dis.

Still soaking up on the lady I ask to get off d car last year 22nd on a 1.4 surge, going to Maryland mall from Eric moore. Her attitude was just a no no for me... Got to her street, called her and she was still arguing with me I'm not dia, got confused and ask if they have 2 of same name in that area, took us almost 1 min to settle that and she didn't even apologize, just cut the phone on me, I waited for another 7 mins for her to come out, as I heard a knock on d passenger door, here comes a lady with a revealing big reap hmmm half packed refusing to enter d car with "Oga is ur A/C working, if not...?", I don't even know how to answer such question. She entered and say " We have to go to any tailor shop first " me; ohk ma, do you have any in mind? No, you will look for one around... I just shake my head, madam come down unless you won go Yomi casual. Riders need to understand what we r providing is service and they r not buying drivers off, dose "why" questions r needless.

That's a sad situation. I can recall having such experience twice whereby riders reported me to Bolt and those mobtops didn't even call to ask what happened before slandering me with their yeye mails. Funny enough, i was the one that reported first but because they're so consumer oriented, they charged me for theft. Long story short, one of the rider call and bossed me and i told her to meet me at Maryland b/stop or go to Bolt office at Surulere .
Bro, i think you should put on your spiritual antenna, why will taxify block your account today of all days, may be God is passing a message across that you shouldn't ignore.

I am so piss of at taxify right now, I just feel like going to their off to make trouble, I just got blocked this morning for client reporting her missing phone... For God sake this woman in her 40s took a trip of 1600, drunked and didn't get herself, she complained about Bolt drivers being thieves, to satisfy r curiosity I had to end trip d moment I stepped into d deeper life area, taking her home for free till I even entered her gate and dropped her at her doorstep soh I know I got her home safely. I can remember saying I am face wit d trouble of returning her phone now, didn't get to see d phone till I got home ard 9 30pm after picking riders... Yesterday I tried to call d lady in question, she have pattern lock and went as far to put her phone on flight mode, so how am I supposed to reach her, do a trip from ogba back yo her house or go drop d phone at bolt off when I didn't even work yesterday, but took out yesterday as break and time to visit the mech.... Woke up dis morning and thinking through getting a trip to that area so I can go by to drop her phone, but with her putting her gross irresponsibility on me, denying working hours is really crazy, I feel like fight both parties, what if someone saw d phone before me and I wasn't aware of all dis drama? I really wish I have a way to get to both parties.

I hope you were able to secure the bag.

What we can always do when faced with such issue (of lower acceptance rate) is to calculate how many more trips one needs to accept to get the bonus.

For instance, if you missed 2 trips and your acceptance rate is 93%, all you need to do is to calculate if you need to accept 10 rides more (with having to complete few more trips if you need more) to meet up with acceptance rate.

I hope you know how to calculate the %
Secure bag ke, did 13 trips d acceptance rate refuse to gbe body

Nice approach there bro, but if you’d left them to go maybe because you got a request of what ever surge/soji, how about you encounter a bigger problem with the new rider probably because of the soji and the rider also refused to pay. And the trend goes on and on simply because of high surge request. At the end of the day don’t you think you could be ban or even worst encounter a big problem?

Surge will come and go but d work will still remain. besides you’ve 7days to raise money for your partner so dont let anybody deceive you that it only soji that will help you complete your weekly payment, ok, if soji no dey you no go complete your weekly payment abi?

That guy is greedy abeg let’s tell ourselves the truth. Such greed will make one run into trouble they never bargain for.

Greed! Do you know the definition of that? I think you have a prob.. let me ask you a question? If you're on rental and you need to collect 800 naira ( of which 400 is just your own) from a rider and you got a trip that will give you about 7k, pls what would you do? I think I already know your answer; stay with the 800 naira rider and start throwing punches and by the end of the week, you will package stories for your partner. I think this is d reason no one has given you a car, once they rate you they must have notice something very weird, your lack of SENSE...
Even if I did not get a good trip I will still let him go, because I don't FIGHT, I have much to lose, a 2 million worth of vehicle and a name to protect. That's wisdom. Obviously you no get am. I brought it here because I just felt what he did wasn't right.

So you know what he was up to with all indications you still left him to go without collecting your money even after you’ve said you must collect your money before leaving and because of the greed of 3.0 surge you left without being paid.
Guy OYO is your case.

Nobody will call him, report him to the platform admin that’s the only advice I’ve for you.
Bros u won't understand, its not greed, but game of mind... Riders do dis a lot, once then know u have request, deh start doing that nonsense of bad network. I had issue with 2 girls on Friday, after end of trip, deh were abt to pay m 2k and one of dem said they will need cash inside d mall, they should transfer... I object, by telling dem u didn't tell me u girls r going to transfer, but its OK! On d condition I'll receive alert before alighting. The loud mouth out of d two get into action, blah blah did I ask dem if its transfer, dis dat, she does transfer and drivers that doesn't want transfer tells her from the onset. She gave me cash and said "I only pity you, don't think you r stubborn". Me, just roll eyes and look away, while I wait for my 1 star.

On the other hand I'll let go of 800 for a 3. Surge boss, its not greed, but knowing dat which is important.

This acceptance rate has been on 94% since I completed 10 trips, now I've done 16 trips extra but it's still on 94%. When it's 9pm now they will cancel it and tell me that I didn't complete the campaign. Same thing they did last week and didn't give the 4K after all the works. Taxify/Bolt promotions are scams!
