He got into the car and ask me to speed up, I was doing 120 on 3MB, yet he wasn't satisfy with the speed, he keep checking the map and gave up when he saw traffic ard gbagada, so he ask me to take charge and in tune to pls my new Oga, I decided to use the Maryland turn to ojota, only to turn at the 1st ikorodu rd I sighted ard motorways that lead to Ketu, to make it worst I end up finding my self on the last lane where deh use to pack market stuffs at ketu road. The man jejely drop without saying a word I didn't even bother asking him for money, then it was all about star for me and not getting block for such calamity, deep within I was just praying he doesn't report me.

I picked a rider this morning around 6am from Chevy View Estate on Chevron drive. He was going to Eko Hotel, mid way through the trip he asked if I stay around, I said Yes.

He wants me to pick him every morning at 6am from his house and 5pm at his office which is beside Eko hotel.

He wants to pay 2500 per day but payment will be monthly which is 50,000.

I am still considering the offer as I don't want to be committed to anybody, I hardly work during the evening rush hour.

P.s I stay at Ajah

from my view, it can't work, don't crack ur head over nothing. How much is she going to pay a driver with her own car? One of the benefit of this job, is you being able to determine your movement... Now u r constrain to wake 5am and even if you have a sweet trip around 3/30pm, your movement have to hover around island, forgotten you can b at still for 1hrs and be getting 500 naira trips cos you can't leave. Who is going to be responsible for tolls? What happens on days you have to visit the mech? What happens on your rest day? You can give it a try tough, maybe this path may lead to others, but believe me, you r going to do lots of stop over and freebies.

If it is bearing issue, just make sure you buy new bearing. The original one is KOYO by Name. Make sure it is KOYO. Price will be determined by your area. Here I bought mine 14k for both left and right. 2k to insert them. 2k for mech.

Reaching out to the 2 of them and they advice me "Oga we go knack bearing inside", agreed! One said he is going to use tokunbo bearing, the other said he is going to use new bearing and these two people are my Oga, I don't argue with whatever they say, I'll just go home and do my assignment on which voice to follow. That's not fair boss, if all drivers choose not to work yesterday, some ppl we b willing to pay double dat amount just to get to their destination, so its a relative situation which she have options and I see no reason why anyone have to live off emotions on dis.


Still soaking up on the lady I ask to get off d car last year 22nd on a 1.4 surge, going to Maryland mall from Eric moore. Her attitude was just a no no for me... Got to her street, called her and she was still arguing with me I'm not dia, got confused and ask if they have 2 of same name in that area, took us almost 1 min to settle that and she didn't even apologize, just cut the phone on me, I waited for another 7 mins for her to come out, as I heard a knock on d passenger door, here comes a lady with a revealing big reap hmmm half packed refusing to enter d car with "Oga is ur A/C working, if not...?", I don't even know how to answer such question. She entered and say " We have to go to any tailor shop first " me; ohk ma, do you have any in mind? No, you will look for one around... I just shake my head, madam come down unless you won go Yomi casual. Riders need to understand what we r providing is service and they r not buying drivers off, dose "why" questions r needless.

That's a sad situation. I can recall having such experience twice whereby riders reported me to Bolt and those mobtops didn't even call to ask what happened before slandering me with their yeye mails. Funny enough, i was the one that reported first but because they're so consumer oriented, they charged me for theft. Long story short, one of the rider call and bossed me and i told her to meet me at Maryland b/stop or go to Bolt office at Surulere .

I am so piss of at taxify right now, I just feel like going to their off to make trouble, I just got blocked this morning for client reporting her missing phone... For God sake this woman in her 40s took a trip of 1600, drunked and didn't get herself, she complained about Bolt drivers being thieves, to satisfy r curiosity I had to end trip d moment I stepped into d deeper life area, taking her home for free till I even entered her gate and dropped her at her doorstep soh I know I got her home safely. I can remember saying I am face wit d trouble of returning her phone now, didn't get to see d phone till I got home ard 9 30pm after picking riders... Yesterday I tried to call d lady in question, she have pattern lock and went as far to put her phone on flight mode, so how am I supposed to reach her, do a trip from ogba back yo her house or go drop d phone at bolt off when I didn't even work yesterday, but took out yesterday as break and time to visit the mech.... Woke up dis morning and thinking through getting a trip to that area so I can go by to drop her phone, but with her putting her gross irresponsibility on me, denying working hours is really crazy, I feel like fight both parties, what if someone saw d phone before me and I wasn't aware of all dis drama? I really wish I have a way to get to both parties.

What we can always do when faced with such issue (of lower acceptance rate) is to calculate how many more trips one needs to accept to get the bonus.

For instance, if you missed 2 trips and your acceptance rate is 93%, all you need to do is to calculate if you need to accept 10 rides more (with having to complete few more trips if you need more) to meet up with acceptance rate.

She gave me cash and said "I only pity you, don't think you r stubborn". Me, just roll eyes and look away, while I wait for my 1 star.

On the other hand I'll let go of 800 for a 3. Surge boss, its not greed, but knowing dat which is important.

I accepted all 26 request that came through. Even the ones that rider cancelled I accepted all. This acceptance rate has been on 94% since I completed 10 trips, now I've done 16 trips extra but it's still on 94%. When it's 9pm now they will cancel it and tell me that I didn't complete the campaign. Same thing they did last week and didn't give the 4K after all the works. Taxify/Bolt promotions are scams!
