Pearl1910: Yes, u can get a good 2003-2005 naija used Civic for less than 1m. I guess the one Tojah is selling is good enough then u put in about 100k repairs after buying it.
Transmission oil shouldn't be changed regularly like that provided it's d original one. Atleast ones in 2years. Less than 100k plus repair? Are we not moving to permanent site? The best original oil I know is Honda dw1 Dru's spec. Ask anyone if using Nigeria Honda Civic, I even dare to mention Dru toks if they have tried using the oil for a year, more of saying 2 years. The most challenging part of it, is you can't even be sure if they are selling the America one or China for you. I am not out rightly saying Civic is bad, I have been using mine for 3 years now, but I know that car is not meant for the faint heart. Ask peeps using it, they will play the tape for you. |

Dailyparrot: This sh*t happened to me sometime last week. The rider asked that I should end the trip so she could take bike to her destination. We were going to Festac.
I stayed in that traffic from 2pm to 6pm. I had to turn off my app because there was no need leaving it on.
Just pray you get out of the traffic soon. One of the reason I like Indriver and it is very important to check the map before going on any trip, have a great understanding with your rider if it's a one long way before exit. Those people don't pity for drivers when it's time for them to do the needful. Now to island is 2hrs, may end up adding addition 40mins to 1hr, if the price is not right, I'll rather be sleeping in my house. Money not made today, can be made tomorrow. |

Make I go balance myself for correct area. Boss if rain is failing there, park somewhere and let the situation ease. Driving inside the rain is very dangerous, the outcome is not that nice. Drivers on Indriver can so act like hungry peeps... rain is falling and they can't even take advantage, still struggling for trips. |

Pearl1910: Lolz...I actually meant d price is okay for the condition of the car. And that amount can get you 2 Civics at 800k each. Boss you keep calling Civic... Do you think you can get a pristine Civic for 800k now? Civic comes with load of headache, if you are not strong? it will break you. Good engine, good A/C, but you see the transmission? Speechless. One need to be rugged and strong hearted to use Civic. I know the whole use Original Honda DW1 that may have gotten up to 20k now, how long does it take to change Honda Civic Atf oil, how long does it take to change that of Toyota Corolla Inbtw, what year of Civic are we talking about |

Pearl1910: This is a lady o, she really tried to document these things meticulously...I respect her.
Repairs and Maintainance cost is very normal except for that 400k repairs in September. It must have been as a result of fixing a major damage/accident or changing of engine or gear. It also showed in her earnings cos she made considerably less that month than d months before and after because the car was in d mechanic workshop. Secondly, her fuel cost is quite high compared to her earnings, so I guess her car is a big car or she does other runs outside her Uber/bolt hussle. Using the recommended cars, the max cost of fuel is 25% of earnings without surge, so fuel cost can't be more than commission. When u now factor in surge, then u make much more with the same amount of fuel (i.e only 20-15% of earnings goes for fuel).
But overall it checks out well. Kudos to her. Women are really meticulous and good managers. Pearl1910 abeg help us call godfather10, quesior is waiting for him. It ain’t easy yo!
Today, I got a request and parked next to this girls gate, she then came out and hissed and condescendingly told me to come and park in front of the gate (5 meters away), then eyed me up and down.
All this and trip never even start oooo, oh my God in heaven! Like as if I was her enemy in her past life.

I begged the vulcanizer at the entrance of the estate to help me look after the car, but before I could come back he don less the tire hoping I will come to him to pump it. Guess what? GeneralZodd: Baba Naija is truly a 3rd world country
We are really suffering in Nigeria, Try and visit Dubai one day you will understand me well.
Where I dey now,
I don forget say Nepa dey take light, constant electricity. Light never blink for once. 24 hours supply. No noisy generator. Every where cool and quiet.
Good road network, no pothole, no gallop, no traffic. Gbogbo titi lo te (smooth road everywhere) street light every where with camera
Cream chicks and guys every where smelling nice and fresh.
Police and security very tight: No bribe, No harrasment. Even police dey use Bugatti Chiron as their day to day patrol vehicle. Cars wey dem DINO MELEYE dey take oppress us nah em Dubai police dey use protect lives and property.
Their Uber there nah latest cars, very clean and neat. No jalopy cars.
Magnificent and beautiful edifices everywhere, standard shopping malls wey better beat ShopRite hands down.
I was told that the real citizens of Dubai don't work, Government pay them monthly, they are all property owners in the city. They only come out at night to flex.
Omo Nigerians are suffering, with all the natural resources wey we get we never still develope like this
What baffles me most is that all these politicians would go to Dubai and comeback and wont build the same thing they saw here.
I never condemed Bolt/Uber,.don't get it twisted.
Lately it isn't lucrative like the way it use to be.
Things have changed alot
Only those who started when it was good will understand. The gods when

dapotemi: Wow, exactly the same thing happen to a co-worker on tuesday..That fourpoint/access bank road, it was a 7 seater shuttle, he parked in front of the office to quickly hail guys, na so lastma show o, we all rushed out, I was particularly vexed because the lastma guy is well known to me, he towed my car at d same spot about 3 month ago and despite all pleas and long leg, we got to sura and I eventually paid 5k (they term it towing vehicle fees), na so I change am for the guy yesterday, I almost got into a physical fight...He left in shame.. Unfortunately, the same co-worker call this morning that lastma arrested him around bonny camp, took him to sura, paid 30k and when he was driving out of sura, he started insulting the lastma guys in their yard, na so them ARREST am again, gave him a ticket to go to LASDRI office, when he got there those ones ask him to pay 5k and that he will be trained for 3 days...Lol The guy Don Dey beg make we cover up for office for am... komodapson: Yes, you're right. Reality might dawn on him when he returns to shithole, but it won't erase the memories of how life ought to be (arguably). What GeneralZodd would be seeing in reality now would be synonymous to the pictures of paradise being mirrored by Jehovah's witnesses in front-page of their watchtower magazine.
I remember during my undergraduate days as a katangite, one of my roommate traveled to represent the school in badminton in Botswana, just 2 weeks in Gaborone... He came back and no one rest for a whole session till he graduated. Few sentence from my guy lips, Gaborone must enter....why? He has seen something different from the usual. Sure, exploration is how we grow. Sometimes I enter some estate and get so mad at myself... like does the people living there have 2 heads. You know one thing about belief and convention? It has a way of tieing one down, some of us may not be able to do what others does to get by. This remind me of experience in village. Anytime I am around and see how things r going, those building fine houses, I'll be like I need to wake up, I'm not just in Lagos to Jones. A weeks after settling back to Lagos life, eyes focus on survival, bills no let man see plans again |

komodapson: Yeah..Travelling outside the shores of his country has opened new frontiers. His eyes has opened, like when christ healed the blind. I could remember Ushe, telling them not to go on vacation, not to go on break, blablabla. Telling them all that if they took such decision, who is going to move Lagos.
Just less than 10days ó in Dubai, his eyes don clear. What if God blesses him the more, he travels to Singapore, Paris, Los Angeles....his orientation changes...
That's why you see, when issues are propped up on this forum, Few can only comprehend what is being said, simply because of Hunger&Poverty that has beclouded their reasoning.
