talk2alabama: U see, the problem of Nigeria is it's senate. How? So you are ok with one man having the power to veto an amendment passed by the vast majority of Nigerians? |
Politics › Re: Senate To Strip Buhari Of Power Of Assent by poseidon12: 2:23pm On Jun 20, 2016 |
Sounds good to me. If an amendment is passed by 2/3 majority in the Senate, House of Representatives, and the Houses of Assembly in the states, that should mean that the vast majority of Nigerians want it. Why should we now allow one man to veto its passage. Government is supposed to reflect the wishes of the vast majority of the people, not the wishes of one man. |

Politics › Re: Amosun ; No To Grazing Routes In Ogun State... by poseidon12: 11:01pm On Jun 19, 2016 |
Jakumo: Yeah buddy. Governor Amosu remains ever the diplomat and the statesman, whose cloaks his righteous rage in polite, carefully selected words that squarely address the crime of SABOTAGING AND DESTROYING agriculture all across Nigeria, that is currently being perpetrated by Boko Haram terrorist squads masquerading as cattle herders.
For those who still require a translation of the terse words spoken by the calm and collected governor, let me help you out with a more direct translation.
To you Boko Haram cattle terrorists and farmland wreckers, what Governor Amosu really means to say, in plain language, is as follows :
"Take your crop destroying cattle, along with your rifle-wielding, woman defiling terrorist "herders", and stuff them up your crusty Boko Haram anus, for all we care. In other words, you marauding kidnappers, murderers and crop thieves, kindly go phuck yourselves in YOUR farmland, conveniently located for you in the barren desert wastes of northern Nigeria. Thank you very much for your cooperation, and God bless Nigeria." Funny translation. All the southern governors should unite in opposing the so called grazing route. |

If you can get another phone that can record your discussion with them, use it to record the demand for money. Then report to the DPO. If they deny, play the recording. If the DPO does not treat the case well, go to the Area Commander. Always go to the station with somebody. |

DonKuty419: It has been like that for a long time not today. Exactly. It didn't just start. I have always had about this practice. Looks like Mr. Magu is not up to date. The EFCC needs to prepare a comprehensive list of good looking unoccupied houses, especially in the urban cities. Then they would organise searches of these houses. |

Create a perimeter from land then slowly sweep inwards towrds the sea Mapping every nook and crannies while using the Navy and the airforce for surveillance Is it the U.S. Army the FG will use to do that? I guess you are inadvertently trying to start a civil war. |

However, Afenifere should note that if any group of nonentities come to cause trouble in EFCC office, they will all be shot with AK-47, survivors will be re-shot with AK-49. Afenifere old thieves should also note that they are yet to return the millions of dollars that the ineffectual buffoon gave them for their votes, for this reason, very soon, I mean very very soon, Afenifere elders too will be picked up by EFCC, so they should gathering money and making contribution and doing esusu in order to return the millions jona-daft gave them. Keep quiet. People like you are the reason we are backwards. If the EFCC does not have enough evidence to charge him to court, they should not have arrested him. I reside in Lagos and I am not aware of Yoruba muslims killing because of religion. The Hausa/Fulani culture is extremely barbaric. And when you mix that barbaric culture with Islam and illiteracy, you have a savage. And to make matters worse, Nigeria now has a president who is a religious and ethnic bigot and who sends out body language that appeals to the savages on the streets of northern Nigeria. |

Even when rumours about someone death comes around, the way people react without confirming amaze me. Sahara reporter should go all the way to publish their names and state of origin. People are not concern about the reason why they were retired, we are only looking at their tribal inclination. If any of these officer feels unjust, let him seek redress. We may also have forgotten most politicians who are being persecuted are from North including Dasuki. Anyway, trust nigerians, they will say because he is a PDP member.
Let us not remove our eyes from the ball. Are you kidding? An army officer that is retired should seek redress? From where will he or she seek redress? |
