He gave a statement confessing his complicity in the crime.... What else?
You can't be sure about that. That is the EFCC version. They probably tortured the man to death. The family needs to demand an autopsy.
PoliticsRe: Why We Can’t Stop Non-nigerian Herdsmen – FG - VANGUARD by poseidon12: 11:10pm On Jun 09, 2016
I used to regard Audu Ogbeh highly but not anymore. Let a Nigerian herdsman go to Benin Republic and graze his cattle in someone's farm and we'll see if their government will not deal with the herdsman. Useless government.
PoliticsRe: Foreign Refineries To Stop Buying Nigeria’s Crude Oil Due To NDA Attacks by poseidon12: 4:02pm On Jun 09, 2016
janellemonae:
Guess what. We will get fiscal federalism. It would be good for d SS cos they deserve it but guess who is going to come up wt another excuse to disrupt everything again. The Biafrans.

If u think biafrans are interested in true federalism, ur naive. They just want d whole estate (Nigeria) to themselves or at least the combined regions of SS/SE. This whole support of NDA and GEJ is a smokescreen. 2yrs into fiscal federalism, u will hear new complaints. Ecspecially when they realize some of their states cant support themsrlves. Lol! History always repeats itself.
Silly comment. Of course Nigeria must restructure. That is the only viable option. Then every region would work for their survival instead fighting for presidency in order to control Niger Delta oil. You and your people should not be scared. It would actually turn out good for all the regions, especially the hard working ones.

Federalism federalism
....if every state should start controlling their resources what would Ekiti state be ontrolling Lmao
In the National Confab report, there is provision for states to merge if they wish. The only thing that will save Nigeria from breaking up is the restructuring into a true federal system.

And how much does it cost to give the silly DPO, 25 Litres of Fuel.... or are you telling me the whole of Anambara cant afford to pay for that, based on the urgency of the situation?

Interestingly, the State Commissioner of Police is named OJUKWU!
If "Emmanuel Ojukwu" cannot help his people, who can?
undecided undecided

O yea!, l blame Yoloba people for this.... they are the ones who metamorphosed into Fulani herdsmen
! shocked shocked

It's Enugu State, not Anambra.
PoliticsRe: Fulani Herdsmen Return To Nimbo In Enugu, Threaten To Unleash More Terror by poseidon12: 11:04am On Jun 08, 2016
Enugu State people need to immediately impeach their incompetent and cowardly governor. I find it difficult to believe that the Fulani herdsmen that attacked the state and killed several people are back and nothing is done by the state to round them up and waste them. God forbid. Enugu State should not embarrass the Igbo people. Every able bodied Enugu man should move down there and take up arms against the herdsmen. I don't want to be reading this type of embarrassing stories. Are you guys waiting for tribalist Buhari to do this for you?

When will you guys learn to stop picking just one sentence from a whole speech and exaggerating everything this man says.
I watched that video it's nothing like the way the media reported it. It was just a phrase from a full sentence. Haba!
Ok, why not tell us what he really said. Stop defending the indefensible. Buhari, as president, was foolish to make that statement, openly and proudly announcing to the world that he will discriminate against those that did not vote for him.

Of course. He is well educated and rational and knows that no particular ethnic group owns Nigeria. I can't say the same about the president though.
PoliticsRe: Oil-rich Nigeria Is Ready To Implode. There's One Way To Stop It- Financial Post by poseidon12: 11:25am On Jun 07, 2016
Right on point. For Nigeria to survive, we must restructure into true federal system or a confederation. Then Nigeria will become great. If we fail to restructure, then Nigeria will disintegrate and become like Libya or Somalia; God forbid that from happening. Patriotic Nigerians need to start talking to the unpatriotic, tribalist we have as president to start the process of restructuring. More prominent Nigerians need to join the likes of Atiku Abubakar in speaking up.

He didn't talk to the so called Biafra but Niger delta which is south south yet i can see many Igbos saying trash here or have ur lands suddenly started producing oil too? Just shut up already if u are not from d south....smh
You need to learn more about your country. Most South East states have crude oil and natural gas. But the Igbo are entrepreneurs and are not depending on crude oil for their survival. The Igbo have always supported equity and justice which are nonexistent in Nigeria. The Igbo will always support any group that is agitating for fair treatment. And of course, the fool mentioned Biafra.
By the way, why are you contributing to this thread; did the fool mention your own ethnic group?

This is over 5million naira, but can link you up with the people that fixed for is at our gas station
Thanks @davodyguy for the information. That's a mighty installation you guys have there at the petrol station. Way to go. The cost, though, should be more than 20 million Naira. At the rate of 85,000 Naira, the 144 batteries alone would cost more than 12 million Naira. Then you add the cost of panels, inverters and charge controllers and cables, and labor.
How long is the installation now? And how is it performing?

People just like twisting this man's words. When he said people should respect others faith he was also referring to the killers who couldn't respect the victim's faith. It's a two way thing and the respect should be mutual.
How did you get that from your president's statement?

This whole NDA issue is a lesson to the current Govt that not everything can be achieved by brute force and gra-gra.

Now it seems the NDA are just giving impossible demands to excuse their continued violence in that region.
Which of their demands are impossible? Is it the implementation of the confab report or the release of Kanu and Dasuki, who were granted bail by the courts? You guys should blame Buhari for this resurgence of militancy.
Car TalkRe: 10 Ways People Kill Their Cars by poseidon12: 7:10am On Jun 02, 2016
On nos. 4 & 10: Most cars in Nigeria do not reach operating temperature because Nigerian mechanics usually advise their clients to remove the car thermostat and connect the radiator fan directly. As soon as you start the car, the engine coolant starts to circulate (without waiting for engine to reach operating temperature) and the radiator fan also starts blowing. I believe this is a major killer of vehicle engines.
PropertiesRe: Building A Solar-powered Hostel - A Learning Experience by poseidon12: 5:31pm On Jun 01, 2016
EgunMogaji:
Just as an aside, I'm self designing the electricals in my house to be all solar powered from the get go. Cables will be solar specific as I'm using low voltage wiring for lights and such. I will have a room full of batteries and a small generator to supplement solar charging.

By calculations and research, though I would love to control all from one source but I think there will be several stand alone units. Example the driveway gate will have it's own standalone battery and charging system, the wholehouse fan will have it's own.

To really save watts I will have sensors in each room to auto shut off if no movement detected.

I have a coworker that is earning money from Southern California Edison (our version of NEPA) monthly by suppyling electricity back into the grid. He has all the electricity he needs and the left overs goes into the grid. Who cool is that? He won't tell me his setup cost and that tells me it's probably lofty.

All this being said, I may just go with the flow and just hitch up with NEPA. There's something about Nigeria that makes me tired and unproductive.
A grid tied system like your friend's will not work in Nigeria just yet because we do not yet have system that allows us to feed power into the grid. In Nigeria you have to store your excess power in batteries to be used when needed (at night). Having to invest in batteries makes solar expensive in Nigeria.

PoliticsRe: We Must Renegotiate Our Union To Make It Strong -- Atiku by poseidon12: 10:37pm On May 31, 2016
Atiku is the main man. God bless you sir, for speaking truth to power. It's great that this is coming from an influential member of the ruling party. Nigeria's fundamental problem is the dysfunctional political structure in place, not corruption.
It's only unpatriotic Nigerians like Buhari that will be against restructuring. 2019 will be very interesting.

Keep quiet there. You should also be concerned that a president is over stepping his bounds by the constitution. Buhari does not have any power to place a travel ban on any governor.

How are sure they did not stop? This is the army version. We need to hear from the surviving police officers. Nigerian soldiers are known for acting with impunity and then lying about it.
