It is really depressing that some Nigerians are saying Buhari should not declare his assets publicly. What happened to the promise he made during campaign to declare it publicly?

Are we saying it is ok to break campaign promises?
We know some of the campaign promises were stupid and will be impossible to fulfil like making 1 naira to be equal to 1 dollar and like stabilising global oil price, but declaring his assets is a easy promise to keep.

Those ones supporting secret declaration of assets are silly; especially when the president promised us a public declaration. As Professor Itse Sagay said, it is a credibility issue. If he doesn't make the declaration public, he will lose credibility just like President Jonathan. And he may not be taken seriously as far as tackling corruption is concerned.

OBJ said the same on 29 May 1999 that it would no longer be business as usual and we did get the shocker of our life:

Also, Gen. Danbazzau was the then Chief of Army Staff who secretly brought in dying Yaradua without the knowledge of then Vice President Jonathan. He took over security at the airport and had lights switched off. And then, they started playing hide and seek with Nigerians about Yaradua.

It is a celebration of mediocrity. The man is all noise and no substance. Where are the signature projects? Uncompleted white elephants projects everywhere. When the oga on top was fighting Amaechi for no reason which led to him defect to APC, They forgot how he fought for GEJ in 2011, now is the bad egg. Because he never got bad intention for Rivers people he will definitely move higher and higher.

Secondly...the governor single handedly chose him as candidate despite all odds and yet this is how to repay him?
