Lezzlie:I see. But if I'm a priest where is my benevolence? e-matrimony? Your priest finds you e - unfaithful. my office is still open for confession till 8pm. |
firstEVA:I saw Lez warning. He was right. So how're you? Still on high spirit? |
![]() Lezzlie:Fresh outta jail! That was a long haul! Probably deserving. Even the screams of firstevaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah was all swallowed up in 2 weeks deep tunnel of incarceration. House Pope indeed. . ![]() |
firstEVA:of course i did. it couldnt have escaped me. but i didnt want to start. you might hv gotten choked. i tried to explain it away, that you probably meant your whole body. but another thought said otherwise. and its like i was right. #onestepatatime ![]() |
firstEVA:your reply has been delivered. or is there something else? |
firstEVA: ![]() ok. i understand. its good to unwind sometimes. my day was normal. nothing outside of the ordinary. afterall , it's Sunday. |
firstEVA:Understood! But most importantly, what could have triggered and sustained your high spirit all day? |
firstEVA:Where is she? I'm taking it for granted that she went for service and probably back. And if she isn't busy, a little chat after service, at the back, where the scenery is quiet and peaceful would be welcome. What say you? Happy Sunday. |
firstEVA:And there was nothing to apologise for. Though I understand the humour Hmmm! How should I respond to your last sentence.? A little too much on the right and it spoils everything, but then a little towards the left and it gets a little awkward. Ok. Let me find a balanced reply: I didn't mean to start the online church service with you the other day. Don't know why I did it. But we all need the sermon every now and then, esp on an online forum like this where inhibitions can be sometimes blur. The sermons sometimes just make the lines a little more conspicuous so we don't forget what really matters. Thank you! I'll say goodnight now. Maybe we chat up some more later in the day. |
firstEVA:Nah! Honestly, i'm comfortable with you. And the question is indeed simple enough. Only I was taken unexpectedly. I'm fine. Though I've been privately engaged and yes spiritually, so that my time on NL was shortened. What about you? |
firstEVA:hehehe! Now I'm laughing and real hard! You surely write too well to admire my very simple way of writing. Lez used to tell how tough and rich in words you are. By the way, he's an exceptionally brilliant writer, only that he twisted it for all the wrong purpose. And now this is a fact: You actually are too exposed to lez' writing to commend my simplicity...lol But I appreciate your gesture. Ok... It's like The Sparrow has been keeping you posted. So tell me exactly, what and what event? Hmmm! You tempt me to ask how old you are, lol. But the inner me says you're just giving me a light nudge. |
firstEVA:Hehehehehe! Maybe I wouldn't have. For obvious reasons maybe. Saying hi could have sent the wrong signals to the headquarters where The Sparrow is president. With time though, if there would be, saying hi would come naturally like gifts and Christmas Initiative would have lost its meaning then. |
firstEVA:My favourite nairalander! How's it with you? I was wondering myself. Maybe I said something upsetting. But It was only a matter of time. And it's like you missed me virtually the way I missed you. |
[quote author=TonyeBarcanista post=42559477]I don't see the reason behind crying more than the bereaved when we all know your motive oga. ND will solve ND problem. Thanks![/quote/] Some say,you deceive yourself with lies and insincerity. Others say you are cunning and tricky. But I Ask you, what is ND? Are they one people, one tribe and one voice? The Ogoni hardly agrees with you, so does the Itsekiris. Many ND tribes have only one thing in common — oil and how to get more allocations from it. Politically, their views are as divergent as the over 20 tribes that make up that region. Learn to trim your lying to speak for yourself. |
musKeeto:Sorry I quoted you. I didnt see the other of your quotes and replies— that you are wise and enlightened in your own eyes. |
musKeeto:It is tearfuly painful reading how you carnalize sleep walking, and bringing up the carnalized definition from wikipedia. Maybe it is safe to conclude that you all believed the big bang nonesense from these set of wise people. Sleepwalking is a spiritual issue. But you are free to believe otherwise. |
@Speechless3, if you read this and you havnt made a major decision yet, I'd advice you to stay put. Catholic church is not your problem. Your salvation is personal. It doesnt depend on your church. It depends squarely on you. How serious are you with GOD?.How attentively do you listen when the sermon is being preach. Confession is irrelevant if there is no genuine repentance. Confessing you sins to a priest or to GOD directly is only half the journey. There must be genuine remorse and resolve to shun sin. Some dont go to church regularly but they leave an enviable life of righteousness. Dont expect your church to work your salvation for you. Thats your job. I recomend the catholic charismatic renewal movement for you. As a catholic you must have heard of dem. They are a vibrant, HOLY GHOST moving society in the catholic church. There i guarantee you will encounter GOD. GO through their "life in the SPIRIT seminar as a new member, and your life will never remain the same. I wish you GOD's guidiance. |
firstEVA:But certainly not too deep to consider. Truely in HIM lies your satisfaction. Even if the whole of NL come and PM you their admiration, you wont be satisfied after a short spell. You'd keep searching further and further. Didnt mean to start preaching. |
The West are hypocrites! Do you know how many innocent lives were taken by drone attack in Parkistan, Afghaniatan and Iraq by U.S drones and Soldiers? and no ICC came knocking on their doors. Who gave them the right to enter Lybia and violated her sovereignty? So many innocent lives were lost. Today Iraq, Afghan and Lybia are worse off than the "saviours" met it. The West are cheats who got to where they are by brutal force, violence and stealing. And they are still making a fool of us. They preach what they havent finished practising. They tell us it is equal right and justice, but they lie. Down at the U.N, it note equal right. 5 of them (US, UK, France, Russia and China) have special right. Each can render the vote of over 100 nation irrelevant. They are hypocrites deceiving the rest of us. Deceiving people trying to change our culture that is superior to theirs in many ways!à |
firstEVA:Hehehehe! That's petty, C'on! Esp coming from someone like you. Your true selfworth is bigger than any individual's evaluation. And your happiness can never be dependant on human approvals or attention. That's under-valuing yourself and putting your confidence and happiness in the hands of others. What do they know? What do I know? Which amongst us have a hand big enough to carry all the grace GOD has bestowed upon you? Or a heart large enough to understand your uniqness. Why count on any of us for approval? Cant you see we all have the same doubts? And in our pursuit for happiness and approval we look in the wrong places and at the wrong people for validation. The road to happiness and fulfilment comes in walking in the LIGHT, knowing who you truely are in HIM. Abiding in HIS word. What do you think was the reason HE endowed you with so much talent, eh, FirstEVA? To be at the centre and draw others to HIM. HE is the spotlight; when you abide in HIM you become the centre of HIS affection, and others are taken in by your radiance as HE draws them to you to get to HIMSELF. You become the attraction...but you discover something bigger...HIM. You wouldnt be needing the attention anymore, you just want to please HIM. |
firstEVA:Ok. How exactly. |
firstEVA:Ok. How exactly. |
firstEVA:Thanks! I was tempted to say the feeling is mutual... but then i remembered The Resident House Sparrow. I no dey for him gbege o! Hope your day is fine? ![]() |
Ok , I heard everything...those two birds chirping alone in the 760th floor. And they plotted, and schemed...one didnt particularly like me being around. It seemed to be the male. I felt it was the male cos he was doing most of the talking with a louder chirp. He seemed to be planing on something with the help of the other bird. They asked after eachother, how they were feeling and how their day went...hmmm! And they seem to come here to get away from the rest of the flock and to make some of their plans. Probably one of the reasons the male doesnt want me around. They even took off an 'n' to keep their plan hidden from me. |
