NOETHNICITY:
Which bank pls
I need more details
There is nothing one will not see on Nairaland.

Someone even suggested he should put N2m and be earning 200k monthly!.

For clearity sake, any percentage of interest offered you by any bank on fixed deposit is for a year. Divide by 12 to get your monthly rate.

Presently, NO bank will offer you my 5 percent on a mere 3.5m.

Appointment of Council Board of a University should not be politicized. With the crops of people I'm seeing here, I doubt if they have the understanding of how the university system works, this will affect their decision making efforts
What is wrong with the crop you are seeing?

Do your just assess people by their names while seating comfortably in your room?

Always resist the urge to criticize just for criticism sake.

Peace.

What would you say for those who scored 27 out of 400? This has never happened before in the history of jamb. You weren't in the cbt centres to witness irregularities.
For your information, I was at the CBT and stated throughout because my SON in SS3 wrote the exam. I do not need to state his mark because I have always told him I do not intend or wish to include his achievement in my personal CV.

Concluding that this has never happened before is a falacy.

JAMB has never and will never be easy.
Children of nowadays should brace up because the competition is keen.
Education › Re: The Need To Restructure JAMB In Nigeria by ppogba: 6:37am On Jul 08, 2021
It is always good to do a basic research before writing an article such as this. Your elementary research should have included what and what are the objectives of JAMB. I will not do that for you.

Entrance exams are common place the world over. 10.78 million candidates wrote a similar exam in China early this year!

The available space cannot contain all secondary certificate result if we are to follow your recommendation.

Since time immemorial, JAMB has never been easy and I can't see that changing soon.

Congrats to her

But can we see the separate rules made for the rich vs the poor in Nigeria.

NUC pegs admission age into University at 17.

Here a wealthy child gains admission, and even graduates at 18 years. WTF?

Can we allow intelligent poor kids without funding for private University into school at whatever age their mental capacity affords them.

Biko, na poor we poor, we no Fulani anybody.
Thai is the job you and I have to give our so- called representatives at the NA.

On the other hand, there has never being and there will never be level playing ground anywhere. FACT.

Going by your past posts and comments on Nairaland, I think your calling is in marriage/ relationship counselling. You are my either talking about getting a good husband or searching for a wonderful wife! All well and good.

What will you say about students that performed well in this same exam?

What will you say about the over 800 candidates that got 300 and above in this same exam?

Who told you that it is automatic that you must score and higher mark at your second attempt in JAMB?

The truth you might not want to hear is that the 257 you score is just above average and Medicine is not for average students.

Dis-abuse your mind and work hard next time.

Education › Re: Kaduna Orders Closure Of 13 Schools Because Of Kidnapping by ppogba: 10:12pm On Jul 05, 2021
The case of Northern Nigeria thinking they are using banditry and insurgency to punish the whole country is like that of the Tick digging it's own grave while believing that the Dog will be the casualty.

My advice for Southerners with kids in those schools is that the should withdraw them for safety sake.

My child is dead is far more comprehensible than my child missing.

Truely, aside the politicians, the major areas where corruption has eaten deep is the ministry.

The level of corruption and extortion in the ministry is next to none.

These thief's need to be exposed seriously.
When you talk about corruption, politicians are learners compared to civil servants. And of course they are church rats compared to the wealth of civil servants.

The issue of the staff school is an avoidable bruhaha. Unfortunately, we are in a society where there is no regard for orderliness.

From the word go, staff of staff schools should be made to know whether they are working for the universities or a business set up by the universities for profit. As simple as ABC.

It is far too easier for Custom Officers to loot shops in markets where rice is sold in Ibadan and idi- iroko than to apprehend smugglers of petroleum products in Jibia.

Presidency, I know your agents are reading this but the fact remains that your tribalism stinks to the heavens.

This your advice can't work in our current world. Personally I would have done the same thing if I was the wife as long as he pays child support and I am able to gather as much money as possible, I rather be a happy single mom than tolerate a cheat, today's women are wiser. Mercy Eke didn't push her out, she walked out by herself because she is too good to mingle among a publicc dickkk and a prosti...tute. some ladies can tolerate it, but some can't. In as much as you encourage fighting for marriage, it would still be good if you encourage men being faithful.
A few years from now, you will not talk like this.

Who told you they pay child support in Nigeria? Even when the court says you should pay.

Whoever told you they are "happy" single mom is deceiving you.

What is your definition of "our current world"?

Do you know you need to fight for your marriage to work?

When you get to the bridge, then you will know.

Till then, best of luck......
