I still remember the days when UNN, Unilag, University of Ibadan,Ife, Zaria and were regarded as top schools in Africa and the world.

People came from all over the world to attend schools in Nigeria. People came from South Africa(yes this same south africa), Namibia, Ghana, Egypt, India, Pakistan, Cameroon, Angola etc to get Nigerian education. BBN successfully dsitracted nigerians from their mess, now the BBN show is over and they tried to bring back EFCC show, when that backfired, they tried to pin it on GEJ as a way to tell nigerians. . . "we may be doing badly but remember we saved u from PDP" . . .and when that backfired they have now started using what I call the "after-BBN-show"; same polithiefcians who cant pay their workers will budget million of dollars to welcome home BBN members. . . while the populace cheers on. . . . while our universities are begging for funds, hospitals are dead ends, roads are death traps, trains are . . . who knows. . .
for years I have been praying for nigeria to drop out in soccer, world cup, olympics etc so that we have no distraction but the hardship in the land. with NEPA taking our light, unable to do anything but to step out and see the stolen opulence of our kleptocratic political overseers.
