But my worries lie in two-folds,

My aim now is to step up my game in the interview category, but where my worries lie is getting the test/interview opportunity.

6 in 1500 is a very horrible odd in my opinion.

So in what ways can I increase my test/interview opportunities.

My only advice for you is this: though you may be desperate for a job, NEVER apply to a job you do not meet all the criteria, as this amounts to waste of time and resources; most job seekers make this mistake, especially the experience aspect!
Try that and see the difference... All the best!
