Anybody has idea of where the SRD holds (Lag or PH)? |
Ok me too oo... Let's go there |
spazio: Justwise, i have an uncle, who happens to be my guardian and is willing to sponsor me.i am actually using his statement to apply for my visa. Can you pls advise what sort of documents i need to put it in to show he is my legal guardianIt is allowed for 'LEGAL' Guardian to sponsor a student. It however means you have to go to court to register him as your guardian and you have to do some notarisation I think.... But the best is let him transfer the money into your account to avoid all the stress |
Someone said they've started calling for interviews, how true? Has anyone here been invited? |
Ok. Funding? |
kem000: Please nairalanders, I want to know if international students pay their full tuition at enrolment after paying a deposit of 4000 pounds because I want to fix my remaining balance so that I can make some little returns on my school fees. Please advice......Justwise is quite right, but some (or even most) schools allow installmental payment from self funding student. However, you must balance your fees before 2nd semester exams... |
extraincome: Well, since you're already in paid employment, and you're currently bereft of ideas of legit biz u can invest in, why not dump the cash into a fixed deposit account for like 3 or 5 years, with interest between 5-20% monthly or annually (depending on how well you can negotiate with your bank or account officer).Bros, which bank go give you interest rate of 20% pa? The best you can get now is about 10% pa (ie, 100k for 1m in a year). |
It seems AGIP is not awarding overseas postgraduate scholarship this year ![]() |
wonda26: And how is this supposed to help us? Is it not supposed to be based on merit before? Thanks anyway. Abeg, let the mail come let everybody know his/her fate... Its long over due. Did mine since may. I don wait tire. God, my trust is on you. Wish you all success. It helps, so you'll know that whatever the outcome, there was no wuruwuru, hmmmm? @chylo, I saw 'Teexzle TEEXZLE' on the list na... zzzzzzz |
Let me congratulate you all on making it thus far in the process. Although I crashed out at an earlier stage, I've kept abreast of happenings on this thread. A friend of mine who knows 'someone' that knows 'Lady' Banke was told that the selection is purely on merit and that the list is already out. Good luck! |
Ok o, bro. |
Ok... When and where did you write your test? And what post did apply for? |
^ No. We (myself and others) have only scaled thru the test, waiting for interview(s) ooo, if there would be any.... zzzzzzzzzz |
According to what I learnt from one staff member of the bank today, the recruitment exercise is actually unknown to most staff members!!! I hope they really allow merit then. Btw, it seems they'll select about 500 candidates probably in batches for the training school... I'm actually bored, seriously; God intervene ooooo. |
So, are we going to be part of that batch? This one we never did interviews?? |
^^ Do you know when the present trainees will graduate? How long does the training school last?? Lastly, which post did you apply for ![]() Sorry, too much questions *big grin* |
I can help you set up a cassava processing mill (producing garri, cassava chips etc)... You can contact me I have the expertise. |
I called Ernest (rsvp) today, he said he cannot say precisely when we'll be contacted... But very soon, I hope very soon sha, 'cos I'm bored mehn! |
Any news ooo? |
Avictomama: Abeg make una advice me o. I'm on my way to Ibadan right now and Heritage just sent me a text for an interview with thier ED for 6pm today. From my calculations, this is not possible right now. Abeg make una advice me o...Please what date did you do your assessment? |
I think maybe they consider you over-qualified with MSc. You probably shouldn't have included it in your CV/ application. *just saying though* |
jacksinou: i still dont understand their criteria, maybe engineers are not eligibleKai, don't say that; I'm an Engineer and I got invited. Never lose hope yet, better still, try to review your CV and pray more to bro. Good luck! |
Thankgod iyke: Somebody help hw do i log in to upload my pasprt and print the invi i cant see any link here 4rm my mailMake sure you open your mail on a computer, in order to see the link. Good luck! |
Invitations rolling in already; got mine on phone 1:35 am. Now, I hope this thread would come alive really. |
^^Do check your email address for my contact (e-mail addy). |
Did you ask when they'll finish TS and likely invite us?? |
God, I know say you get something for me @ heritage bank, I unexpectedly dreamt of my assessment score just before waking up this morning!!! Hahahaha... Incredible, because I seldom have dreams. |
bonny07: I also did the test nd passed for graduate trainee position since feb27 2013 bur v nt heard nyfin from them till date I really don't understand fcmb oAnd have you tried contacting them? They don't pay much, they're still delaying, na wa ooo, something wey man wan dey manage temporarily. |
Most banks have their HQs located in Lagos, the commercial nerve center/ capital city of the nation; they also run their TSs in Lagos for obvious reasons... Even banks such as Union who used to run TS in different regions are now centralising their training in Lagos. As per lodging trainees in hotel, 'OYO lo wa o!'... Haahaha |
CharlyG1: Its nothing out of d ordinary. Just d usual blood test, urine test, xray and oda physical exam tinz wit a bit of medical questionnaire..dem check una BP ![]() |
^^Probably tomorrow, according to the info from the other thread. And, I guess that it's TS that'll start in 6-8 weeks' time; they should make contact for medicals before then... Success wishes to us all. |
