Religion makes a fool of even the wisest of Man. #GreatestScamOfLife |
Queentrippleb:Has your boyfriend/spouse ever flirted with a hot chic while next to you, in the presence of your friends/family? I'll listen to your reason when you're able to keep praying for him if he continues like that for 2 years. She don try, she managed his adultery for years, everyone has a breaking point. |
SpitsOnYoruba:There's so much permeating the internet these days it's hard to know what to believe. I gave up when I received a BC saying a baby was born in an abuja hospital with palms closed as if it was praying, upon separating the palms the doctors found an inscription saying"Jesus is coming soon" This came after a previous BC saying another baby was born clench fisted only for doctors to open the palm and find a Quran. The interesting thing is why no one ever thinks to take pictures of these extraordinary occurrences beats my imagination. I rest my case. |
Scholar8200:This is where Jesus/Christianity lost me. So every human being who lived during his time but were not privy to his message or were unfortunate to not be born in the middle east, no matter how pious they were, have been condemned by Fate and Geography to hell fire. Negro pls. |
coolcharm:So because she's a Xtian and pastor's wife she should have asphyxiated herself in an unhappy home right? Even if she forgives him which I believe she has, does that solve the initial problem (adultery)? Has Pastor Chris stopped his sexploits? They've done the proper thing by dissolving their marriage in court. Now she can find happiness. Wish them both the best. |

PassingShot:Facts Only The campaign promise is 180 degrees from what we're getting. Clear depiction of Incompetence on the part of this govt. Obviously Aisha is having to contend with a lot of backlash for her husband's administration's incompetence albeit not entirely his fault. In her shoes most wives wives would do worse. She only expressed her honest position. Saying she won't campaign with him if things don't "change" isn't an act of defiance or arrogance but the kind of words that should motivate a serious and committed President. That said I believe she's directly or indirectly won the confidence of the women she solicited their votes. PMB's swipe at his wife by relegating her to domestic duties is a hard and tasteless pill to swallow. Especially considering he said that in a country with an incumbent Female president. It is simply indefensible. But that does not reflect his generic view on women but specifically his wife. Judging from his action and not his words, we can attest to the fact he has women holding ministerial offices. So he's not a misogynist. He was obviously disappointment at his wife's "disloyalty". |
kodded:smh apparently you have no opinion except to keep on wailing. |

Most controversial nonconformist free spirited and inspirational human being that ever liveth! I mean he has Death in his Pouch! He's more celebrated outside Nigeria, we need to correct that. |
Newbeginnings:What u mean "allow it" I don't think any woman would allow her man to cheat. |
Madness. Religion truly is opium for the masses. I bet their parents, bosses and masses could never make them do this. But tell them they're doing it for God, and voila. They're no different from ISIS and Al Qaeda cos they also believe they're killing for their God. Let's just pray their pastor doesn't tell them to Kill for God. |
Church and Mosque would be very empty. |
In my case, 1. I lost some lucrative jobs back to back even after playing by church rules to my best. If iNow I'm completely disconcerted with almost every message from the MOG. So why bother when nothing permeates? 2. If per chance I have a personal spiritual encounter to lead me to believe I've gone astray as in the bible. Or a woman (the power of a woman cannot be understated) |
menxer:I concur. It's amazing how churches no longer preach against sin. All they preach is Sow a Seed! Give and You shall Receive Just Test God! So what happens after you sow seed but e nor gree germinate? All of a sudden it's not your time brother/sister, God's Time is the best.lol I can't fit to laugh. |
Faith they say is the substance of things hoped for, evidence of things not seen. (Heb 11.1) "With the Faith of a mustard seed you can move mountains." "Your Faith has made you whole." "Your Faith hath healed you." etc That's the Power of Faith. Ever wonder why all religions work? Christians pray to God and they are answered Muslims pray to Allah and are answered Buddhists pray to Buddha and are answered Jews pray to Yahweh and are answered Traditionalists pray to their gods and are answered, etc Religious and Nonreligious folks alike, once you have Faith you can achieve all things. It is evident in modern times that churches, mosques and other religious bodies have commercialized Faith. Imagine selling an idea. Tie the Faith to Tithes, Offerings, etc and you have the perfect money making mechanism. |
Show of power maybe? |
Religion they say is man's search for the meaning of life. I have always questioned why so much diversity of Faith and Religion. No one has really been able to provide satisfactory answer. Every Faith/Religion has its core beliefs, sacred histories and symbolic stories that followers must accept to be true no matter how incredible or irrational. One common denominator among these various denominations is the propagation of Salvation, Bliss and Protection. I don't know of anyone that doesn't want any of these hence more followership is lured. But my bone of contention among others is the mutual exclusivity of Intelligence and Religion. Why is it the more you know about a religion, the less its credibility. More hypocritical is how every religion believes other religions are poised for damnation. Fractions within same religion is even more depressing. This explains why Atheism is thriving in present time. Simply because once you decide to observe each religion critically and logically you find a lot of loopholes and fallacies that put your intellectual mind and religious mind at loggerheads. In essence, it is conclusive to say that it is most difficult for an intellectual to believe in religion. The story of Solomon, the acclaimed wisest man that ever liveth (according to the bible) is a testament to this. However not believing in religion is not synonymous to not believing in God. It is paradoxical then that the wise always seem to lose faith in religion, yet religions ask you to seek wisdom. Wisdom is the principal thing, therefore get wisdom, and with all thy getting get understanding. (Prov 4:7) |
sultaan:True. But then the parallel market would just keep hiking their rate even further. Unless they can be checked. |
