Worse part is that the poor masses carry the matter for head and no single development but what gives them joy is who becomes President. As long as it is not igbo, millions are so pleased even if they are dying.. Lol |

All we know how to do is find a way to make money and dash them out to countries with innovative thinking. bigpicture001: The political class are not our enemies...the followers are...they are too subdued in their mind to effect any desired change....
Let's go nd protest, lailai..dey can't com out..only social media is where they have power
After shouting leaders are too old...they still line up in tens of millions to vote for the same old ones...
Perto rico..recently forced their governors to resign with massive defiant protest...
Hong Kong did same and enforced a change of deliberated law...
Tunisia got democracy with massive street protest..even Togo chased a president away with massive defiant street protest...
The almighty ghadaffi..fell to massive street protest..egypt 36 years ruling president stepped down through protest...
Nigerians are not ready to effect any change...the ladies re still busy slaying and the guys very o.k with yahoo....
Just one man is trying to impose a very violent tribe on every nook and croons of Nigeria...nd nobody is physically protesting....
The only protest at seen are mischievous ones organised by tinubu against subsidy for his personal interest.....
Wen we are ready in Nigeria..the world would know..but for now..lets continue to slay and do Internet fraud!....
Cuz we are not ready!!!!! The Petro Rico protest was so sweet. The youths after achieving success started twerking, partying, lap dancing. Lol. I really liked it. They were youth and got what they wanted. They even vowed to continue protesting until the entire institutions are changed. Nigeria needs to return to regional govt. And to achieve this, we need a change of constitution. The current one is not okay. And we can't change this one because the northerners have more control over the constitution. The only way out is protest. |

Didn't the South African citizens see the Nigerian embassy to go and protest in South Africa?
If you cant help the situation, dont ridicule the struggle.. If MTN Debt and not Xenophobic acts could drag the SouthAfrican president to Nigeria to beg for soft landing, then MTN is the Jugular to hold SouthAfricans on check. Lol, has our govt been able to stop the endless killings of Nigerians in Nigeria? On road accident alone, Nigeria lost over 2000 of her citizens within six months. |

Some people will still come here to laugh igbos for not producing President or sidelined by APC. What is the benefit of having presidency and controling govt when ur region has not turned to Dubai? And u guys keep living in fear. Death and all sorts of negative events happen to the same region.
Until u all accept that ur biggest enemy is not the average igbo man, is not the average Yoruba man, it is not the average hausa man. We have one common enemy.. The political class.
Also u guys need to understand that a break-up Nigeria or pure regional based govt is the best for Nigerians. It js the best for northerners, westerners, easterners, southerners.. |

Politics › Re: Junaid Mohammed: I Will Rather Have Tinubu As President Than Igbo Man by Princedapace(m): 8:41pm On Jul 25, 2019 |
goldenarrow: It is an African thing, (only that it has the European name, Stockholm Syndrome) from the North up to South of Nigeria. But brethren from the East says they don't care who leads in one minute, the very next minute you hear "marginalization", so it is difficult to understand why they react to these types of comments (such as Junaid's).
A lot of the Easterners believes secession is the best option. Same for a limited few from other regions, but many are okay with status quo. Similar to the lot who were quick to tell us IBB was a very good leader because of the ill-gotten wealth many of his cronies stole and frittered away back in those days. Today, they know better.
In short, a Freedom Fighter in a clime, is a Terrorist against (to) another group.
The insurgency in the North is a classic example of this Syndrome. The fools among the Northerners were thinking Boko Haram was their means of achieving a voice in the Land while the power was with a Southerner. Today, they are enjoying (suffering) the dividends of that evil.
The first step at resolving Nigeria issues is solely by returning to the pre-independence Federation (or even a quasi-Regional) pattern. The most intelligent response i got so far. Weldone. I hope others from other regions can add their voices some day. Because the real enemies of Nigeria are the political class. |

Politics › Re: Junaid Mohammed: I Will Rather Have Tinubu As President Than Igbo Man by Princedapace(m): 6:27pm On Jul 25, 2019 |
goldenarrow: My dear, your observation is very decent. Only that SE is not helping itself.
Politics is a game of interest, intelligence and body language (polity). Since the start of IPOB distraction and hate speeches, how many Igbo politicians have actively come out to denounce that ill-advised adventure? At a convergence or at a gathering of politicians; leaders of other regions & power brokers would not really have much faith in the intentions of their colleagues from the SE.
A team of leaders from a region actively campaigning for the break-up of a company or a country has put itself at a disadvantage already. ‘’You can’t be trusted to lead a country your kids have threatened to burn down naaa” Especially, when the elders from that place has made insignificant efforts at discouraging such pronouncements. If at all the adventure has been condemned by elected & respected SE leaders.
Their opposition (conventionally acceptable, though) and apathy of their people did them no favors. At the corridors of powers, our mean leaders have labelled the region as “5%ters” and you know that numbers are important in that game called politics.
The best leaders from the East can do is to ensure their region runs on a single voice. They have two options and both are WIN-WIN for them. I. Choose to be Biafrans and be unapologetic about it but forgo whatever packages they are enjoying from their offices as leaders in Nigeria.
{It may be successful even, without bloodshed if they speak with same voice and are ready to forgo the luxuries of benefiting from Nigeria, YOU CAN’T EAT YOUR CAKE AND EXPECT TO STILL HAVE IT ON YOUR PLATE)}
II. Or stay with Nigeria and condemn their kids drumming for break-up.
If only they can take A STAND, they shall achieve success. But Igbo problems are self-defeatism, internal division and indecision. This has nothing to do with 'igbo problem' We fail to understand that politicians in this country only care for their pockets. No politician will come out and agree to break up the country since they get fat pay. It is us, the masses that supposed to be fighting for this bro. I really dont know why we have refused to see this. Look at the deputy govt of Kogi state, just between 2017 to 2019, he was not paid fully, he is still have over 700 million naira as outstanding salary and allowances. It is not only igbos who need the change of this system of govt, the entire country needs it. But what i dont understand is why the same masses who need it go about insulting those who are bold enough to come out and say it is needed. Politicians in this part of the world are selfish. So, dont make it look like it is only igbos who need this. As it is in the south east, that is how it is in other regions. Nigeria is same. The same no stable electricity, same no water, same bad roads, same poor looking cities, same unemployment, same insecurity, same poor education, same poor health care. In fact, north is worse hit. So, expecting politicians in the east to speak out wont work since other politicians too dont. It is when the masses like Biafran supporters come out and speak that they need this, the govt will do something. Any way, since the masses love suffering, no wahala, the country will remain like this. Like someone told me few days ago, these criminals called politicians are already preparing their kids for political positions. They send them abroad for education, when they come back, they take them and give them political appointment, preparing them for future leaderships when they die. The children of the poor masses, the average and even the rich will continue to be slaves. Nigerian masses, the most foolish ever. I mean, what has presidency benefited any region? Why cant Nigerians understand that political appointments and positions are not dividend of democracy? why? even graduates dont know this! Why? Dividend of democracy is a working society. |

ajon1: Oga stop bringing God into this. I support Buhari but I'm not a cow. Though the government is lacking in some aspects, I wonder how he is suddenly the reason for everyone's misfortune but never the reason for any success story.
I don't know what you're passing through. I really empathize with you but many others are passing through worse. Now man up and find a solution to your problems. Blaming Buhari and getting likes on Nairaland won't solve your problems. It won't be a nice thing to say to your kids in the future that it's Buhari's fault they didn't have a good future.
Now I support Buhari on this. If this NIGERIA is not what you want then stay and fight for it! Unless of course you have the means to live in the UK like Reno Omokri and attack the president from there. How can we fight for Nigeria when million don't want truth. Nigeria is not working o because the structure is not okay. Nigeria will be better in a more weakened central govt. This system breeds laziness among states. This system suppress some tribes and impose other tribes as superior tribes. This system will always elect incompetent people because all needs to be done is partner with one region, rig election and u have won. Until we address these things as citizens, until we have a county that preaches fairness over ethnic and tribes, that is when we can grow. But no, most of u will support we do same thing over and over and over again and expect different result. Those of us who want things to be tried in different ways will not be listened to, we would be cursed, abused, and called enemies of nigeria. |

Just thinking out loud jare In Nigeria, if u a police man, soldier, etc, if u are not stealing, u can't afford decent stuff with ur pay becus it is poor. The politicians only made their pay and allowances way too much. The military spoilt Nigeria seriously, they prepared a useless constitution that pays the politicians so well with salary and allowances while anyone outside politics suffer way too much. These is why most security personnel steal to survive. Their retirement package is also poor while retirement packages for politicians are so good. Politicians are the biggest enemies of Nigeria.
