Music/RadioRe: Ex-Footballer Emmanuel Babayaro Returns With Music Video by Princek12(m): 6:47pm On Jun 22, 2010
That song is wack. In my opinion he has a better shot at success by selling groundnut in a go-slow in Lagos than his new embarked music career. And who are the background singer and featured artist, for they both sound like wannabes with their fake Jamaican raga accent?

But I don't understand how a white dude who knows little or nothing about our culture, traits and behaviours can coach a team of mostly players who started out as proper ghetto players !, can't see how he could relate to them to ginger or motivate them, not to talk of the other aspects of coaching !, they need one naija guy with strong eye make e dey slap their head when dey fu.c, k up !
True talk, man. I don't know if you guys remember the final match of the U-17 championship, during the Nigeria v. Netherlands match, I believe, when Sani Emmanuel failed to pass the ball to a wide open Stanley Okoro who was in front of goal, John Obuh said, "if you do that thing again, I go comot you!" Sege yaro!!!!

SportsRe: What's Wrong With All The African Teams? by Princek12(m): 12:57pm On Jun 21, 2010
African teams are being coached by foreign coaches and, as such, the players on these teams don't connect with these coaches. The English are experiencing the same problem: their players say they can't connect with the Italian coach, unlike the Argentine coach, with whom the Argentine players connect, especially when he gives them fatherly hugs and preaches to them the importance of fighting for their country.
SportsRe: Did Kaka Truly Deserve A Red Card? by Princek12(m): 1:22am On Jun 21, 2010
^^^^^^^^^^ You are such a Brazil groupie. So Kaka does not deserve a second yellow for throwing an elbow? Why don't you go and lick his behind?
When Sani Kaita got red-carded because the Greek player at whom he threw his knee embellished the encounter and fell, it was OK; but when Kaka gets red-carded because he threw his elbow at the Ivorien whom also embellished the encounter by holding his face and falling down, Kaka does not deserve it, and it wasn't his fault.

Why are some people Brazil groupies for God's sake. Why do you apply a double standard when analyzing your own? Both Kaita and Kaka deserved a red card. Even if the contact was exaggerated, the fact that Kaka threw an elbow and Kaita threw a knee makes them deserving of a red card. Even Kaka technically got a yellow; Kaita was red-carded from the outset. Oh how I am so not going to name my child with any name beginning with a "K."

We have to save ourselves? say NO to FOREIGN coaches and unfit players who are unpatriotic.
Why we Africans are dwelling on the poor performance of African teams, these foreign African coaches are praying for the success of  their European teams, for home is where the heart is. You can't expect a foreign coach to feel the same passion as the players. If, for example, one of y'all were to coach Italy, you will still think about the Nigerian team, because of passion, which is essentially the purpose of the World Cup--national pride.

This principle is too difficult for many Africans to understand, especially football administrators, yet we lament each World Cup about the poor performance of African teams. The last time I checked, heaven helps those who help themselves.

What is happening to African Teams - or do i say african players. Where are those folks that featured in that MTN advert (We travel many years ago ,  now we are back to play for africa). Or did they just took part in that advert 'cos of MTN paid them, there hearth was no there,  Inquiring mind wanna no!
They are being coached by Oyinbos who do not share the same passion as the players, and who are not in a position to motivate players to fight for their nation.

If you watch Invictus, you would realize the importance of passion, and how a coach can motivate his players to go to war for one's country. How can an European coach motivate African players to go out and play for the cause of Africans, or to go out and play for national pride?

The World Cup will begin to lose its glory if FIFA doesn't bring instant replay to stop this cheating. I am sick of referees determining the outcome of games.

Louis Fabiano twice used his hands on the ball. And the refs didn't see ithuh?

SportsShould Largerback Have Sent Kaita Packing After What He Did? by Princek12(op): 7:27am On Jun 20, 2010
My people,

Why is Kaita still in the camp? Doesn't Largerback know he can infect the other players with kaitaisis? Would you have sent him home immediately that night after the incident? If I were coach, I would have sent him home, just like the French sent Anelka packing. What do you think?

I can't help but sympathise with Paul Le Guen. . .  he's such a good, committed coach & should be left to tutor the Cameroonian side for years to come. I think he can make something good outta 'em if given ample time. But typical African mentality - they might just wound up firing him inspite of how he transformed the side after falling behind in the early rounds of the WC qualifiers. . . . wonder why we can't keep coaches for a period od time - the danish coach has been in charge 10yrs now!
The Denmark coach probably stayed for ten years because he loves his country and wants to see to the development of soccer in his country. All these oyinbo coaches who come to Africa don't give a hoot about committing themselves long term in Africa. Shhh!!! You think those Oyinbo want to leave Europe and come and stay in Africa for that long? You need a coach who is committed to developing soccer at the grass roots level, and Cameroon's best chance of performing in the next four years is to find a qualified local coach who will most likely love his country enough to be willing to invest such efforts into it. These oyinbos look at us like mugu, take our money, and coach African teams from their bases in Europe, and we keep complaining why we don't do well in soccer. Look at all the old, good for nothing muscle players that that Cameroonian coach selected!!!!!!!!!!!
SportsRe: Cameroon Vs. Denmark 1 - 2 Final Score by Princek12(m): 11:41pm On Jun 19, 2010
Shesi,

what were you trying to say? Nothing. Somebody said Europeans are doing well because they rent cities for camp rather than rent hotel camps, which African teams do. And you as a mumu are saying bottom dwellers will not understand why this makes a difference because they haven't lived a life of luxury.

You are acting like a typical housegirl who went to Lagos from the village and lost her mind.
SportsRe: Cameroon Vs. Denmark 1 - 2 Final Score by Princek12(m): 10:13pm On Jun 19, 2010
shesi:
spoken like a true bottom dweller.

those who have never tasted luxury don't know what they're missing.
You are the one speaking like a bottom dweller, for you know nothing about luxury. It is people like you who think luxury solves all your problems. Idiot. If you had experienced  luxury in your life, you will know money can buy you luxury but cannot buy you sleep.  Michael jackson had all the money but needed anesthesia just to take a nap.  You are just making up excuses. So African teams are not doing good because they did not rent a "city" like England but rented a hotel.
