PoliticsRe: Fgn Gives South Africa A Taste Of Their Own Medicine As The Visa Row Between The Two Countries Rages by ProAnti: 8:45am On Nov 15, 2009
Nigerian businessmen are known to be about the most ruthless in Africa. if you allow them into your economy, they'll expand at a rate you would find threatening and they may take over. The South Africans are simply afraid of our business acumen.

Someone made mention of superiority complex. What I think they have is Inferiority complex. Fear of domination. Let them allow Dangote and Adenuga establish companies in their land and you will know what I'm talking about.

The super eagles need a complete overhaul. We need more committed players. We need friendlies. We need a better and more tactical coach. We need a less corrupt NFF. We need more optimistic and patriotic supporters.
PoliticsRe: The Unveiling Of New Logo For Ondo State by ProAnti: 11:14pm On Nov 14, 2009
Something like Eko oni ba je of Lagos state.
But Lagos state has an emblem, like d 9ja coat of arms.

What Mimiko launched is a mere logo. And he did it with so much funfare including a live coverage by AIT.

Nigerian govt officials sure knows how to spend money. undecided

Eziachi, plsss continue with your historical excavations. Dont allow anyone ruin this thread.
PoliticsRe: HISTORY LESSON: Nigeria/Biafran Civil War Most Famous Quotes!! by ProAnti: 10:49pm On Nov 14, 2009
Eziachi did a lot of research and came up with evidence that suggests events that may be categorised as GENOCIDE. instead of carrying out research and coming up with evidences that would counter his position, Nairalanders like SEFAGO and revomind are busy using logic to justify sin. This, in my opinion, is very wrong.

@ Sefago and revomind,
Dig up facts that can counter Eziachi's position. Stop your kind of reactive arguments.

@Beaf and Sapeleguy,

Nice contributions. But I think you both are trying to exonerate the midwestern minorities from any wrongdoing during the war. I really think the midwesterners were pawns in the war.

My take on the issue at hand.

We need to know the truth aboiut the war. Anybody that can come up with "authentic history" would be most appreciated.
That, I think, can help us see the mistakes of the past and enable us strategise on how best we can live as a united people, UNITED NIGERIANS.

All nairalanders I believe you owe the super eagles an APOLOGY cool
NFF, Shuaibu Amodu and the national footbal team owes every football loving Nigerian an apology.
Do you have an idea of how many Nigerians they've caused pains in the last 4 years?
RomanceRe: Dating A Runs Girl (am I Safe?) by ProAnti: 9:25pm On Nov 14, 2009
I'd advise you use her as a case study on the after-life of runz-girlz. If she turns a new leaf, then you can go on with the relation ship. If she goes back to her ways, then you've got nothing to lose as you would have learnt some good lessons that will help you later on.

But a note of warning: Show her love but dont attempt to sleep with her- See how she reacts to this.
RomanceRe: Dating A Runs Girl (am I Safe?) by ProAnti: 9:21pm On Nov 14, 2009
d-ROC:
I know no one is perfect but every week I uncover something bizzare about her, which I eventually overlook the next week. For instance she was formerly a lesbian(and still checks out women from time to time), She has been into runs for cash, smoked and drank, picked up guys at clubs, she dated only cultists when on campus, she told me she's had many mugus and she's been raped by one or two guys who she initially thought were mugus. Maybe because she's from a poor background she did things to send money home. I managed to deal with the fact that my dream girl may not be perfect and have all my desired qualities but nevertheless I overlooked all this.

Can she change her ways overnight?
She still checks out women??

atilla:
I think you should spend more time getting to know her. Take her out to night club, drink with her, she how she behaves there, see how she behaves when she is sad, drunk, happy, has money, broke etc cause this will really let you know wether she has changed her ways or IS WILLING/TRYING to change because she has seen you.
Good advice!
SportsRe: WCQ: Kenya vs Nigeria - (2-3) by ProAnti: 9:10pm On Nov 14, 2009
SA 2010 will surely be interesting.

All the best soccer-playing African countries would be present. This would be Africa's best representation ever.

If the Golden eaglets win tomorrow and African teams keep up this kind of fighting spirit, I can confidently predict quarter-final places for at least two African countries.

If they had lost we would have concentrated on their style of play and condemned the NFA, coaches and players to death.
Now that they won, we are saying they are all age cheats. Nigerians and their pull-him-down mentality.

May God save us from ourselves!
