Dikonico:He’ll be roaming the markets soon-enough. Having a deep bass voice is all well-and-good but when your mind’s crumbling in a way similar to Kanye West’s public post-summer manic madness something needs to be addressed. He’s actually not well. |
Another delusion of grandeur coming from this man is worrying. He needs to be sectioned. (And I’m not joking, sef.) |
And what’s the Ikwerre ukwa|abacha-ncha hybrid supposed to be like? Has anyone in-or-around P.H. (or deeper into the Ikwerre hinterland, if there are any conc. Riverians for this thread) actually tasted it? |
shantti:I’d like to know these many-other ways, to be honest. Starting with Udi/Ezeagu/Oji River/Nkanu (core Waawa territory). |
husbandsnatcha:True. |
By the way, I wonder how okpa would taste with bleached palm oil, (ditto for elele/moi-moi) ehuru and a touch of nchaunwu (if not utazi). Anyone got any experience there? |
Moh247:No. They look beautiful. |
Since when is Nkechi a Yoruba name? |
I’m not convinced there’s a great deal of colour in that stew, not in the way you seemed to be going for: I’d advise against using that-much turmeric, unless you’re doing-up a folk-remedy. Otherwise it’s pretty good. |
Bliss955:I rolled up in this thread quite late but I just had to reply to this particular message. Ramani really does know her onions about narcissism (she’s not pitch-perfect in other knowledge-domains but when it comes to narcissism/antagonism-in-the-air personality-patterns and stuff like that she’s a goddess and a half). One thing to bear in mind in Nigeria specifically is that narcissism looks a lot like borderline personality disorder (in Nigeria) so be on the lookout for abandonment crises and a weirdly-fluctuating sense of self-identity. It’s a culturally-mediated expression of somewhat-repressed intuition being used to cause friction with both the self and others and victimised entitlement that goes way beyond any cultural or gendered semi-wavering expectations (either way around). O.P., make sure you’re onto her. It’s for your own good, yeah? |
Onyenna:Don’t say that, man. |
Ginaz:But, hey, he gives her cake and fried rice after the odd delivery so he’s in the clear, right? This man is a predator. |
It’s time to stop pretending that this is normal. A(n) essentially 20-year-old young woman has four kids for a guy who doesn’t seem like he has any money, her pictures (if this is her) are being exposed on a public forum (and considering she must have very-little education and doesn’t even have a mobile I don’t believe she truly authorised him to do that or understood what it meant) and she’s pressured to have intercourse with him barely 2 weeks after delivery every time. And the guy’s five years older. It’s really a lot and most of it doesn’t strike me as being particularly legal. I’d get the police involved. |
uche40:I’m definitely the humanistic kind (I think all INFJs are) but I guess you could say I’m someone who’s more analytical about social phenomena, dynamics and issues so for me to take a backseat and get beyond a bit of polite brief small-talk with you or the odd night-motive there has to be a reason (it’s for personal energy-conservation more than anything to do with actively-liking or disliking the person). I’m the sort of person who has tons of acquaintances/C-grade friends (who are mostly lovely people as far as that goes) but few people I’m actually on super-close terms with directly. I’m very far from the total recluse persona that personifies (as it seems) most IxFPs but I’m too guarded to be a social butterfly, despite the love. On some days it’s useful to see myself as a deeply-reflective and calm ENFJ. I know my social battery’s firmly ambiverted (socialising doesn’t drain me; I just pick and choose how much they can compete with my alone-time so far as I’ve got something to do with it). Not sure about the A vs. T thing in my case. |
uche40:Gotcha. It’s often a case of being friendly from arm’s length and cherishing day-one acquaintances but bearing in mind going forward that no-one’s entitled to get to know you, nor are they all necessarily worth your time. That friendly reserve of INFJs especially seems to really irk some people but ultimately it just is what it is. Your social boundaries are yours to draw and if you’re naturally reserved even around family and close friends/good acquaintances you’ve known for years and years you’re definitely not going to be going out of your way to befriend every new person within spitting distance. Especially if they’re not that interesting or smart. Personally I don’t generally rub shoulders with more-or-less wilful illiterates but everyone’s different. |
And he’s not even Calabar/Abian. (Seriously, ’though, R.I.P. to her.) |
Templee333:Who wants to eat something that’s known for giving people malaria? Do you like eating dirty rats as-well? |
Goose, duck, flamingo, deer/antelope and moose as far as I readily know. |
Ndo, o? Ewo. |
Lock him up and throw away the key if he pressures his ‘wife’ into having sex. with him two weeks after delivery and really has had four children with her by her 21st year (and looking at other threads this lady has literally only-just turned 21, o). Even if he’s just trolling I just feel like you’ve got to be a sort of person to insinuate active paedophilia of-yore just for clickbait. What kind of repugnant monster does that? I’m truly disgusted. |
How do you get on socially, Uche.? Do you stick to an intellectual bubble of mates or do you just get on with things, let people come to you and communicate more or less firm boundaries along the way? I feel like one thing INTPs and INFJs both have in common is that we’re quite guarded and selective about who we let in and even when we do and really love them we still often interact with them in a reserved way. |
uche40:I think INFJs have less-conscious xSTP and ENFP elements to their personality and many ENFPs are clear social introverts in their younger years so the lines can be confusingly-blurred. INFJ is definitely my core type but I feel like I must’ve been in my ENFP shadow for most of my childhood and early teens, for one reason or the other, you know? Once I made the shift though it was pretty obvious which one I belonged to at my core. And yeah, apparently people behave like their unhealthy shadow-forms when under stress (other persona-correlations might happen under different circumstances and for different reasons but this one’s quite well-known). An INTP’s likely to behave like an unhealthy ENTJ when under stress, an ENFJ an unhealthy INFP and ESTP ISTJ and so-on. I think that’s quite common. |
Kagd10:Still here? |
Kagd10:Lol at the fact that you’re more pained about your over-zealous trolling than I am. If you don’t care, stop replying. |
Kagd10:And I’ve told you my own, only I come from a reasonable and non-tribalistic angle. There’s a difference between someone who spouts osu this-and-that to prove a point and someone who’s just trying to get to the bottom of things calmly. All-in-all I can’t say I'm interested in swapping words with fanatical children. Run to mummy. |
Kagd10:The male sex determines the sex of the child. Genetics per-se are 50/50. If I slap your dirty mouth now, ehn? Bloody idiot. |
uche40:You must be pretty smart, then (INTPs are the bonafide geniuses of the world). I started off life closer to the ENFP side of things but now I’m just an INFJ. |
uche40:Very. Let me send you a few links to get you started. https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PL6rzdODmcL65kvRx1us3UXkxWclo-LJ_h https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PL6rzdODmcL67yYuPIQI1nY_ct1P2TDUyv https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PL6rzdODmcL66pL1zaP1SULSpt5o7jguKV https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PL6rzdODmcL66ZfGf3FA9dwNQoJSIGT9FO The way he orally-delivers can be dry sometimes but he’s MBTI gold. Try and watch a few of these over the weekend, maybe. |
pocohantas:True but the thing is everyone’s a mixture of introvert and extrovert. The conceptualisation of it becomes deeper-still once you fully take it down a Jungian/MBTI lane. |
I’m deeply concerned about the welfare of that poor girl (if she’s who he says she is). He’s a statutory rapist. |
Let 2022 be the year we finally end this nonsense. If you’re 50/50, you’re 50/50. |
Those offspring are as-much Igbo as they are Yoruba. Patrilinealism has no place in real science. |
