AyabaS: Thank you so much. To clarify, I presume she’ll need to make the healthcare NOC her primary NOC. It doesn’t matter that she doesn’t have up to a year in that job since the criteria is just 6 months? She already has over 3 years experience in a different NOC You are asking the obvious, she has the choice which NOC to choose but can only claim the much time she has spent in that NOC. Each NOC is independent of the other but only one can be targeted for the entry and best she chooses the one that puts the odd in her favour. Also remember that work experience is what determines the chosen NOC and not education |

kiari: No you don’t need a transit visa. Check PPR stories on the Canadian student thread, most people go through Amsterdam or Paris. You do not need a transit visa if only you will transit through one country, CDG or AMS but if you will have two stops then you must have a transit visa!!!! |

DripDude: Weldone to the super amazing people on this thread.
I will be very happy to have swift responses to my questions below
1) If my highest qualification is a PGD (post graduate diploma), which I have duly evaluated, do I still need to evaluate my Bachelor's degree. If No, what will I select as my qualification on the application portal. You will still need to evaluate your degree, your PDG will add as two or more certificates. |

GraciousWords: ....about "update NOC and everything scatter" abeg read page 1 FAQ 26 and 27 very carefully... AFAIK you can edit.
The guy in the judicial review of FAQ 27 was rejected not because he updated his NOC but because while he was editing up and down he forgot to include the actual details (dates, title, employer etc) of his newly chosen primary NOC on his profile. The moral of the story is to be careful as you update and ensure your profile is accurate at all times.
IRCC sef don do guide on how for edit profile before ITA: https://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?qnum=1005&top=29
Space nor dey for two primary NOC..... Page 1 FAQ 14 you can have several NOCs on your profile but only ONE must be primary....AFAIK
Abi na play you dey? You should be an immigration lawyer |

So10: Please I need clarification. I'm currently in the pool and my NOC is one of the health care areas with crs 468 and I have a feeling I might get ITA next week with the specialised draw. My fear is that I sent in my IELTS for remarking last week and it's not out yet but I know my TRF may change if my score increases. Will it be an issue if I get ITA before the results come out No, if your scores don’t return lower |

onyinyechika08: Hello everyone, please what is the fastest way now to get police clearance certificate? I cannot seem to register on their website, I don't get the otp needed to complete the registration. Can I go in person to request for it? I think going in person is now hard, go to NIN office to update your email on record, with that you will get the OTP |

GraciousWords: If you have more money based on today's rate then maybe send updated POF. If not maybe wait for an ADR or send a webform asking if they need updated POF. Don't really know what the best approach is, sorry. I was 100% sure the applicant would have been given the opportunity to provide updated POF.
IRCC should really consider using a monthly average. Just like you mentioned earlier, some VOs are rookies. So it might have depended on the thoughts and interpretations of the VO else all of us should have received similar mails by now |

Post ITA I have to scan all passport pages because of travel history. Should I attach LOE to my application, stating I used my national identity card? Or just leave it like that since I didn't use my passport. Leave it out |

Opemipo2107: Good evening seniors. Please can anyone explain how to calculate the current POF using the updated POF rate on their website. I can’t seem to figure out how people arrived at the $485. Thanks The rate is not fixed. It is a quote on how much CAD you can get from One Naira. As at today it is 0.0022168. Meaning for me to get how much Naira I need to get one CAD, I will always divide 1 by the value quoted for that day. So 1/0.0022168 = 451.10 So one CAD is = 451 at official rate conversion today. |

ednut1: focus on real issues like how to get ITA not all theses. Many people they invite later get federal ITA and ignore the invitation. Happened to me too got oinp first and federal ita a month later. Let the people in OINP do their thing, if they send you invite make sure you ask them if you are number 16501 so that you can reject it 🙄. lmfaoo… this one vex you. Hehehehehe. I think people over think things |
