Still applies. Let me give you an example. Let's say the guy in question has a wife, right? After some time she realises he has shortcomings & it frustrates the heck out of her. That IS real life. Couples have real issues, so sometimes steamy sex takes the backseat because there're bigger issues to be dealt with. Nobody is gonna feel like sexy time when there're bills owed, kids on the way, etc.

Now in comes the mistress who takes his mind off his real life problems & allows him to engage in this fantasy life where it's all about pleasure & none of the serious issues he has at home. Do you think he goes over there all gloomy? Of course not! He goes in there a different person on a mission to forget his troubles even if it's for a little while. He puts his best foot forward. Indulges in fantasy. Hence it'll seem like his other life is so much better, even more satisfying than the one he has at home. Delusion at its finest.

Yes & no. Depends on the issue surrounding the break up. Like I just don't see myself crying over someone that cheated for instance. But I may get a little upset if I had high hopes for the relationship, but somehow things just werent working out because of xyz. Relationships are hard. Sometimes you have to be selfish to protect yourself from getting hurt- -pre-emptive strike. Get them before they get you type of thing.

Ever heard of the phrase, familiarity breeds contempt? Probably because they (the side chics) dont get to deal with your shit everyday & don't really know you the way your long term partner knows you. Most men tend to be on their best behaviour & bring their A-game while trying to establish a new relationship, so of course you're gonna get treated like a superstar because you yourself are acting more like a trooper than a loser.

I don't believe that. Who needs crumbs anyway? It may appear so to you as an outsider that he is giving them all equal attention, but I don't think that's how the girlfriends he is playing, feel about it. When a man has too many irons in the hearth there're always changes & telltale signs, unless you're an idiot. Suddenly he has a lot of excuses about everything, is shady as hell, etc. I mean, you can just feel that this person is juggling or on a rotation. Impossible that he can just go on undetected, without tripping a wire in at least one of them.

I do believe, however, that he might like one of them more than the others & the rest are just stand-ins that he throws just enough crumbs to keep feeding his male ego.
