This upwork nowadays is really really saturated often web development. how comes if you seen a job with less than 5 proposals before you even write a cover letter the job will probably have 20 to 50 proposals. some times I even say some freelancers are not human beings but robots. the possibility of winning a job as a new freelancer is very low.

Bots I've still gotten a gig from a 50 proposal, but you have to be sure of what you type and sound convincing. Apply in the evening time that is when US is active.

Yes for a clean build, but 15-20 seconds gain is not something you can live with. I use a 32gb ram mac so i hardly have to worry about compilation time except for very large projects which takes close to 10mins

Hi, so my personal advice is to do what you have interests in. Tech isn't always coding. If you like to write you can try Technical writing, there's also virtual assistant and if you have the patience to learn some new skills, you can also learn some platforms and develop a skill.

To be honest learning some of these new skills, I won't say they are easy, but if you spend time on them, you will easily catch up. What are your hobbies or interests, maybe that can help me decide which field might appeal to you.

Lol stop trolling, except for companies that doesn't want to migrate their legacy codes to kotlin yet (mostly sdks), you have no reason developing new android apps with java. There's more to learn with kotlin... jetpack compose, kotlin multiplatform mobile etc.

Agreed too, because the new focus is on Kotlin, I still feel legacy codes are still in Android, but Kotlin has more advantage, is the build time really that slow compared to Java ?

There's a book called a Framework for Poverty it states how the strong chances of remaining in poverty , if you settle without financial backing.

Also I say with no jest or trying to attack you. I was just curious about your transition and what field. And I think that helps give us an idea, e.g I do Spring boot for business ideas because I saw it on your profile. Easier to know when you're coming from.

And this book is not teaching you any specific tech skills.

It's just pointing you to all the different options you have in the tech space.

I have a chapter in the book detailing more than 20 tech fields and I also detailed a clearly road map for it too.

I'm only asking what field you successfully entered. I don't need Tech experience to be interested in your success. Why read about other fields when I can follow what you did.
