IOM in ikeja charge- The amount payable is 41,400 for adults 15 yrs and above, 32,700 for applicants 11 to less than 15 yrs, 28,900for applicants 5 to less than 11 yrs, 27,000 for applicants 0 to less than 5 yrs. All values are in Nigerian Naira.
Qlife- 35,000(Adults)
I did mine at Qlife family clinic. They request for your passport photograph and medical request for those that got it. After that you are called according to how you got there to pay and after that they give 3 tallies that come with different colours: Tally A- blood test(HIV and syphilis) Tally B- X-ray(You will enter a room and hug anxray machine to get your chest xray) Tally C- body vitals; bp, eye sight (bring your glasses if you use one), check your height and weight.
Lastly, you will provide urine sample and see a doctor that will check your eyes, tongue and abdomen. The doctor will also ask about your medicsl history. It is advisable to get there early enough the process takes 3-5hrs. Hope this helps. |

Anamekele: Place can anyone help i am supposed to start on first week of may but no medical request yet since I did my biometric on 18th March. I don't really know what to do because my admission has no more deferment. This Is very sensitive. This is what I will advise: 1. Send a webform or case specific enquiry asking for an update. 2. Try and contact the school to send a subtle reminder to cic. 3. I hope you've familiarised yourself with tuition refund policy of your school. 4. Schools normally cancel admission and even wont send tuition deposit if you dont claim it with a refusal letter from cic or fail to differ. Please act fast. All the best. |

Lbell59: Hi. I am a new applicant. My application was refused based on personal asset and financial status. Sponsor is a third party. Please I need advice on how to tackle this issue. Sorry to hear this. There is still hope so dont give up. The financial aspect can be tackled using various methods: 1. Pay school fees for a semester 2. Show availability of living expenses. 3. 3rd party sponsorship are usually tricky and hard to convince vo's |

Oluwaseunbd: Please gurus, abeg what is this biometrics correspondence letter? Its just a letter confirming the validity of your biometrics and when it will expire which is ten years from when you did your biometrics. In recent times it's usually sent before passport request(Not a certain guarantee though***) |

Chukwuemekatehi: Please you guys should answer me na. Which imm form is for Nigerians. 5707 or 5645. The one I downloaded is 5645 after the questionnaire. Please some should explain this thing well for me Both are Family Information Forms. Some applicants are required to submit IMM5645E. Some are asked for an IMM5707 Form. Who needs to submit what is not clear. But the right form is whatever is written on your Documents Checklist. If the form you downloaded contains parent information, siblings, spouse and children then you are good to go |

042viber12: I need an answer to something, I might be one of the gurus but I need to ask..Wat does this eligibility stage entail? At the eligibility review stage your full application is analysed. This is the stage where 1. A VO can pass your application to another colleague should incase anything needs clarification. 2. Employment verification*** and other document verification is done. 3. Your reasons for coming to canada is analysed. If the vo isn't convinced then it doesn't matter if you've done medicals it can still be rejected. 4. Your bank statements can be confirmed from the head office at this stage. Godforbid if it is fake then misrepresentation immediately! !! 5. If you've provided your travel history this can be verified. They can check if you overstayed, if the informations shared in your past application is coherent with the information with them etc. 6. They can verify employment prospects in your home country to see if it talies enough to compel you to come back home and all. 7. Family composition and sponsor(s) dependents is checked. And many more..... |

Tjkeyzzz: Good morning guys,
Please how do you treat the issue of personal financial statement and assets My mum is sponsoring me and she has some landed properties too,but I don't have much cash in my bank account or a land to my name..
What can I do in this case When you ate being sponsored you dont really need to declare anything in your path. And your age and status in your country is also important. For example, if you've been out of uni for 10yrs married and all then your financial portfolio will be different to someone fresh out of university. |

TheAfrikan: I don't think the academic plan is the problem here.... My visa was approved and my course was a different field (same industry though) and also a diploma after I already had a professional degree with a solid result... I think he/she should provide more information to the refusal for proper tackling.
Congratulations on your approval. Thanks bro. My point here is you cabt go for a diploma after a bsc rather an ADVANCED DI0LOMA or any other related program. Even me I got a visa to study an advanced diploma program. |

4evaco: Greetings to all. I am very excited to be here. Been following this thread silently hoping to see if there are related cases that have addressed my concerns in previous posts. Many thanks to all who have consistently provided useful guidance here. Please I would appreciate your expert opinions in my case. I secured a research scholarship worth 21500cad annually for a 4-year PhD program at McMaster University. I am aware that this amount may not suffice and would need to more funds so I intend using my parents who have in the past sponsored my Masters in the UK. My father is a retiree and my mother is a stay-at home wife. They have several landed properties and can give me SOA worth 11+m. I have five siblings and 2 are gainfully employed. One is on NYSC and the other is job hunting. I am married with a 1+ year old. My work experience and previous qualifications are related to my intended PhD course. However, I took a maternity break and have not worked actively in the past 1+ year. So, I have not been gainfully employed. But I have been engaged in some volunteer productive activities like writing academic papers. I intend applying for my study permit by the end of this month as my program starts in Sept 2019. Please I would appreciate any helpful guidance on how to strengthen my chances of getting a visa. Thank you all in advance @frankrobbn @austacus @chibertha @justmellow @qudkom and all the experts in the house. Firstly, congratulations on your phd letter. It's a monumental achievement to get that from a top top!!! University. You should gather the following: 1. Since you are research inclined have the supervisors et all you've worked with give ou a reference letter to back your claims. That way you begin a comprehensive timeline of your activities since your last academic program. 2. You still need to show proof of finance most especially living expense so your parents soa is acceptable together with their property documents (2-3) is fine. 3. You also need a detailed SOP to explain why and what you intend to do after your phd program. Other than this I think you are ready, those VO's won't know what hit them. All the best and we are all rooting for a successful application. All the best. |

Tshoow: This is encouraging. Congrats. A quick question though, is it compulsory to submit my transcript along with my application? No it isn't, but if you are struggling to provide valuable point to the VO on how your intended program correlates with previous degree and sll then I suggest you attach the transcript so the course prerequisites can be seen. But ir is primarily not necessary some people don't even attach any education credential. |

Tjkeyzzz: Good morning fam Please i want to ask,if refused based on travel history, can the solution be to travel out to another country before reapplying, because I didn't have any travel history on my passport
Won't that be suspicious as well..that I only travelled because of my visa application to canada
And how much am I to pay for my gcms note ,am seeing different amounts with different packages...thanks No VO rejects applicants on the sole purpose od travel history. It is usually accompanied with other reasons. It is left to you to work on your home ties among others. Do check my previous posts I narrated issues regarding hometies. Goodluck |
