LeoThaGreat: It's funny how people openly supporting IPOB and its deeds in Igbo Land are now turning their backs against it.
I used to be non-chalant about this organization, but I've held a serious grudge against IPOB since decided to hijack the EndSars protest online and offline.
Offline, they followed Nnamdi Kanu's directive to burn Lagos, kill Tinubu and Sanwo-Olu, etc but they weren't successful. Why? What did we do to them? Is Lagos in the South East or what concerns IPOB with Lagos? It's obvious they hate and envy Lagos' success and wish to burn it to the ground. It's still evident till today when their followers celebrate when a disaster such as flooding happens in any part of Lagos. They celebrate bad news from any part of Lagos.
Online, they started posting pictures not related to the Lekki shooting, claiming it happened there. They stared posting fake news claiming certain people were dead, we believed it till the affected people came to debunk the news, even revealing the picture posted that they were dead was from a photoshoot from years back.
(Olumide Oworu borrowed this script and posted pictures from a movie set from way back to claim he was attacked in Surulere by APC guys)
This same IPOB supporters suddenly started wanting the best for Nigeria (the zoo) by campaigning for Peter Obi. Lol Suckers. Bloody fascists! I still see the IPOB (who new disguise is Obidient) commenting under Simon Ekpa's posts.
IPOB and its supporters won't rest until good things burn to the ground. It's best they keep their activities restricted to Igbo land.

Career › Re: The Consequences Of Nigerian Civil Servants Retiring At Age 65 by quickly: 3:00pm On Jul 03, 2023 |
Akinpedia: In Nigeria, civil servants traditionally retire at the age of 60. However, there has been a growing trend among civil servants to seek retirement at the age of 65 instead. While this may seem like a personal choice for individuals, it has significant negative effects on the Nigerian economy and the functioning of public institutions.
Let's explore the adverse consequences of civil servants seeking retirement at the age of 65 and the potential solutions to mitigate these challenges.
Decreased Efficiency and Productivity
One of the primary negative effects of civil servants seeking retirement at age 65 is the decline in efficiency and productivity within public institutions. As individuals approach retirement age, their motivation and energy levels tend to diminish.
This can result in reduced work output, increased absenteeism, and a lack of enthusiasm for carrying out responsibilities. Consequently, the overall efficiency and effectiveness of public services suffer, negatively impacting the Nigerian population.
Hindered Generational Shift and Skill Gap
By extending the retirement age to 65, the natural process of generational shift within the civil service is hindered. Younger, talented individuals who are eager to contribute their skills and fresh perspectives are held back by the prolonged presence of older civil servants.
This creates a skill gap, as experienced workers who could have mentored and trained the next generation are still occupying crucial positions. The delay in transitioning leadership roles to a younger workforce hampers innovation and stifles progress within public institutions.
Increased Financial Burden on the Government
Retirement benefits and pension payments place a considerable financial burden on the Nigerian government. By allowing civil servants to retire at age 65 instead of 60, the government has to bear the cost of providing additional years of retirement benefits.
This strains the already stretched public finance system, diverting resources that could have been invested in crucial sectors such as healthcare, education, and infrastructure development. It also contributes to the pension liabilities of the government, potentially leading to fiscal challenges in the long run.
Limited Opportunities for Unemployed Youth
Nigeria faces a high youth unemployment rate, with many graduates struggling to find suitable employment opportunities. Extending the retirement age for civil servants exacerbates this problem by reducing job openings within the civil service. Young graduates who aspire to work in the public sector are faced with limited opportunities due to the prolonged tenure of older civil servants. This imbalance creates frustration and disillusionment among the youth, potentially leading to social unrest and an overall decline in national productivity.
While it is understandable that civil servants may desire to extend their working years for personal reasons, the negative effects of seeking retirement at age 65 in Nigeria cannot be ignored. From decreased efficiency and productivity to hindering generational shifts, the consequences are far-reaching and detrimental to the Nigerian economy and public institutions.
It is essential for the government to carefully assess and address these challenges by implementing effective policies, such as encouraging early retirement incentives and creating opportunities for young talent to thrive. By striking a balance between the needs of retiring civil servants and the overall well-being of the nation, Nigeria can achieve a more sustainable and efficient civil service system. 65-70 is good enough But politicians can come and be the bosses of civil servants and be above 70-80yr just like Bihari and Tinubu? One law for the goose another for the gander |

But trust Nigerians no mercy for the populace unlike all other countries. If oil price go down it will reflect in petrol stations. Some Nigerians were making billions from smuggling fuel to other countries The effect of removal of subsidy should transfer to other sector IF they use the extra funds. Guardiola is a very good coach However the point ppl are making is that because of UAE money he can afford any player is the world. Man U. Liverpool and other top 6 cannot. Some coaches like Dezerbi of Brighton , Klopp have good tactics but not enough financial backing. If City want Mbappe they can get him and maybe only those Countries back teams can like . Even if Mourinho or any other coach gets this man city team they will still not succeed like pep Pep brought his IQ tactics and masterminded this city team and also transformed them to elite champions. U keep ranting like a mad dog and a mad man on d street talking shit. No coach can ever be greater than pep. Useless and overrated Ferguson and Mourinho doesn't even come close Did Mancini and pellegrini win d ucl? Did Mancini and pellegrini win 5 epl in 6 years? Did Mancini and pellegrini play two ucl finals in 3 years? Did mancini and pellegrini dominate like pep? Pep bought almost all d players he has been using to win and dominate matches for city since he came to city in 2016. U are just a fucking bastard that knows nothing about football How is man UTD and Chelsea unlucky after spending far more and having unlimited budget more than city since 2016? It is no more by spending again but by being unlucky 😂😂😂. Am sure have been talking to a brainless idiot all this while. Giving unfounded and baseless excuses here and there. Senseless being that knows nothing.😂😂😂😂 Ok my last response to a brainless goat and as na night school you go you can read it twice again. Ur brain Dey draw like ogbono so it’s very hard for u to comprehend. The people who transformed Man City are the UAE sheikhs and not Pep. They made his job very easy because they buy without haggling players and they provide the best of the best for him. He was looking for a striker they gave him the best striker in The world- Haaland. They gave him Akanji and the best talent out of Argentina in Alvarez. Which other team can afford Haaland today in world football. There are not more than 5. If guardiola wanted Mbappe he would have got him. So when u can get any player why would winning not be easy? On treble do you know how many coaches have won treble? Luis Enrique , Jose mourinho with Inter, SAF , Hansi Flick all won the treble And they didn’t have an Oil rich state buying any player. In Pep first twoseasons in 2016 he spent close to 700million which was undone. They are just reaping the benefits. So go and dull someone else I am out with u |

Bcuz he doesn't buy flop players with no tangible results to show for it unlike man UTD and Chelsea dat has been wasting money on abysmal players in transfer market with absolute nothing to show for it. Give pep that arsenal and Liverpool team and watch him build and transform them to elite champions just exactly d same way he did and has been doing for man city and all d teams he has managed. You are complete Buffon and dense mumu. You lack 1 % of IQ to analyze past and present The coach before Guardiola won a double with man City. Manuel Pellegrini He signed Kevin debryune, sterling ,Fernandinho. Mancini also won premier league and FA cup before Pellegrini signed Aguero and David Silva and another 15 players including Yaya toure . Is that not a solid foundation to build a team on. That team Pellegrini built won Pep 3 premier leagues. Reason y I say u are an idiot is because I told u Pep gets all the players he wants due to unlimited budget. Mourinho and Lampard were crying for players. If Mourinho ask for 5 players, Man U will give him 3. Also Man U and Chelsea are unlucky. |

Then I asked u why has man UTD and Chelsea still not winning like man city after also balancing their net spend since u have diverted from net spend to balancing of net spend? Per financial fair play FFP they should not have exceeded their budget. So their selling of players is after the offense. PRemier league can still punish them and revoke their title and send them to division 2 . It has been done before Man United has been buying poorly and not enough. Why do you think fans want Glazer out. They didnt back Mourinho fully and also Ole. Chelsea too poor recruitment . Man city have a winning team built for Guardiola to upgrade and he did that. Man city have built a winning team by buying the best playing and even hoarding players since 2008. Same thing Chelsea is trying to do again. Chelsea started it and City copied them. UAE give pep what he wants and even more. No coach gets what he wants due to money constraints. Man City sacked Pelegríni after winning league Since becoming City's manager, Guardiola has spent over €1bn in the transfer market to build his team (as per Marca). The likes of Ederson, Bernardo Silva, Ruben Dias, Rodri, Kyle Walker Grealish, Mahrez are some of the most expensive signings who have excelled under his tetulage. His six years at Barca and Bayern was not up to 500 million pounds. You can't compare what he spent that time to Madrid and Chelsea who were the top spenders that time.
His first season, he only bought Keita and Alves. Got Pique for free and won treble after selling more than 11 players. He s sold Hleb, Ronaldinho, Deco, Belleti, Guily, Zambrotta, Van Brochost and many others.
If you don't know football, go and learn it before coming to public space to wobble. He didnt spend much because he took over Frank Riykaards Champions league and la liga winning side. That won with Messi Ronaldiinho iniesta xavi Eto Henry. So he landed to take over a ready made wining eleven |
