Osagyefo98: Where did Osinbajo get such power to give such directives? And some people will say as acting president.
If he had acted with consent of his boss the president, the agencies wouldn't disrespect him. He acted alone with consulting who delegated such powers to him.
The Vice president is directly infringing on the powers of the president and it is a total disrespect to the office to the president.
Osinbajo is pastor and a Professor of law and so must know the limits of his powers and powers to exercise if delegated to him by the president himself.
The agencies understands better and have the right to Ignore such directives..
If not that the glory of God has departed from him, he should have asked God to certain parts of the constitution to know that he is overstepping his bounds.
Osinbajo is a chameleon who thinks himself a frog.
All over the world ports are run 24hrs unlike in Nigeria. Is Buhari doing anything b4,?
Buhari carry El rufai family member and make her MD & CEO of NPA.

WoundedLamb: An African friend always argue that kids are better of raised in Africa. He said he'd send his two boys to Nigeria so they'd know what life is all about. I asked him "what life is all about", he said hardship, blackouts, etc. He said kids raised in the Americas aren't respectful and organized cause they didn't suffer. And that brings me to the topic of this thread. Is the Nigerian style of raising kids really the ideal model? I just want to share my opinion on the things my friend mentioned as reasons to send his boys to Africa: respectful and organized and the need to "suffer small" (his words).
Respectful: In the Nigerian society, elders don't usually explain to kids why they shouldn't do some things; they just authoritatively ask them not to do it and the kids better not ask why. Kids grow up respecting thier elders out of fear (and not admiration or love). The implication of this is that they do a lot things without their patents' knowledge, and they get used to this "hidden lifestyle" that makes it almost impossible for parents to truly know thier children. This in turn denies the parents the opportunity to identify and correct some unwanted behaviours as the kids always tell them just what they want to hear. And then it's only a matter of time before some of these kids outgrow the fear and reveal their true personalities (good luck with your mystery parcel at this point). Whereas in the Americas, kids are engaged and not commanded. You can easily tell the direction your child is headed.
Organized: He said kids raised in Africa are more organized and not crazy like their American counterparts who do all sorts of things like tattoos, plastic surgery, etc. Yes, Americans have a lot of deviants, but that's why new ideas/findings pop up everyday. I believe Africans force thier youngsters to fit into a predefined pattern of life and thereby reducing the chances of creativity. In Africa, you are supposed to go to school, get a job, get married and make children (and there are ages for all these). Then your children will do the same and the cycle continues. This "organised" pattern is the African dream; it is more important than any other dream or even the world itself, and any deviation is frowned upon. Africans think it's a crazy for a man to dedicate his life to studying mosquitoes even if that's his dream (yet Africans are the most affected by these killer insects), Africans think it's crazy for a woman to say she ain't getting married but would rather use her money to adopt and raise orphaned kids. A friend I was teaching software development had to quit cause "he didn't have time anymore". According to him, he had gotten to the age of marriage. And you wonder why nothing spectacular comes out of this continent? Alternative lifestyles might be scary but that's the wheel of progress.
"Suffer small": This one makes me laugh and I usually use it to tease my friend. Kids don't need to suffer small. Kids need the skills that would make them survive in their environment. If carrying water, fighting for a bus, using candles and going to the farm equip the child for the African life, great (just don't overdo it). But that's not necessarily a model. It's something they do out of necessity. A kid who is born in North America does not need to go to Africa to "suffer small". I don't even own a bucket as an adult and I'll probably never buy one. A kid born here needs DIY skills amongst others.
I don't have a problem with some people wanting their kids to go to Africa to learn thier culture but I don't subscribe to the idea that kids raised in Africa are better off. What do you think?
tribal mark or tatto which is worst.
AFricans have always had body markings. my great grand mother had her name tattooed on her body and also some other things.
Chiminemine: Hello guys. I just received one of the biggest insults of my life today in church.
So I went to church today and along the line, I decided to scroll through NAIRALAND a little bit because the sermon was a little boring. So as I was pressing my phone in peace ohhh, one usher just came to where I sat and taped me. as I looked at her, she stretched her hand out signaling she wanted to sieze my phone. At first I was confused because where I was a lot of people where operating their phones but she didn't approach them. I didn't want to insult her or create a scene so I just lied that I was sending someone an important text. Then she said I should be quick and put out the phone, That if I were in a lecture hall would I use my phone in the presence of the lecturer? So I obliged. I experience similar scenarios a lot in my life and it makes me sad sometimes. Sometimes, teenage boys would be interacting with me as if I am in their age grade. My peers wouldn't want to be around me because they would feel I am just a kid. I can't get a girlfriend because girls look at me like their younger brothers. this has turned me into a full time introvert . I am really hurt. Even my own father uses my statur to insult me at times . It's only by my thick voice that people can tell that I am grown up and thats not enough.
Guys please help me, I need advice. I am 20 years old and 5 foot 8 inches tall.
Na u dey take nonsense , wey u suppose tell d usher to Bleep off u dey explain.
I have been having some doubts about my children which I stated in my earlier post but I couldn't summon the courage to do it.
My wife kept giving me reasons to suspect her so I had to man up and take the test secretly. I took the test and samples were submitted few days ago but the doctor said it will take 7 to 10 working days for the results to come back.
Ever since I took the test, I haven't been myself. Am so restless and anxiety is killing me while I keep praying the results comes out favourable as I know it could mark the end of my marriage if there is a bastard among the children.
Men in the house: Can you share your experiences conducting DNA on your children and what was the out come. My hear beat is so loud right no. This is the moment of truth. So help me God.
Update: While I was at the DNA clinic waiting for my samples to be taken. I saw a couple who came for a different type of DNA test. The lady is two months pregnant while the guy wants to know if the pregnancy is his before assuming responsibility of the baby.
He was charged a million naira for the test and was told to come back for results in two weeks time. I wish I knew this was possible as it would save me from what am currently passing through. Aside the cost implication, I will advise every man to take their pregnant partner for test before assuming responsibility for any pregnancy. I just learnt something new!
Note: I will update this thread once the result comes in the next few days. I hope I'll be a happy man afterwards.
Hospital self don they scam
There is no way dna test shd cost 1million
You can even buy a home kit and do it at home urself
Ejebleje: I totally agree. They're behind the hype that the epl is the best league. I can't begin to name players that they've praised to high heavens , most of whom are at best average players ;Joe hart,Walcott, stones,Jack wilshere ,micah Richards..I could go on and on
I remember talking with a Spanish man about a Real Madrid / Barcelona match and he was asking how about ur country’s league.
I said it’s underdeveloped,he said why since The country’s have a lot of good players.
Well the answer is Nigerians are not supporting their league.
jumper524: even before the arrival of tuchel, pundits were already predicting doom for the new Chelsea boss. it was obvious they aren't really happy with lampard sacking. they were so happy Influencing the decision of lampard lineup from the comfort of their studio.
tuchel arrived and made an impressive start to life, Chelsea were filled with domination and creativity but only lacked the final touch. while it was almost impossible for pundits to criticize any player on pitch that day, they had to take advantage of Mason mount second half impact and summarize the entire play.
with the way Chelsea performance against wolves, there's hardly any faulty player on pitch that night. jorginho, kovacic and havert were all impressive in the midfield that night. don't get me wrong I know mount is a good player but I think English press and pundits should stop trying to force the young lad on the neck of every Chelsea coach. haverts, kovacic ain't really bad players also. the pundits should learn to respect the choices of coaches or better still go find a coaching job and fail like they always do..
Paul Merson has explained that Thomas Tuchel’s decision to play Kai Havertz and Hakim Ziyech together on Wednesday night didn’t work.
JumpByte: Oba dey get shame small. Your children are being killed you keep rushing to greet the same sneezes Forlani. Kings aren't meant to move too suddenly and too often, that's why you have ministers and portfolio members.

Activist001: Trump has just how many days left, people are dying of Covid and the only thing they can do is impeaching him? These democrats don't care about America at all.
Man really stepped on some big toes in the American establishment. Trump still has my support any day and anytime! He stood up for his people.
yep they dont care.
This leftism is annoying and the media is also biased.
America is a centrist country and now i see Republicans are better than democrats. Just watch how Biden will reck the economy
and Biden has dementia already
and i know Harris is disloyal she will not hesistate to invoke the 25th amendment
which means VP can kick out the president if he is mentally incapable of doing his job.
Is there a similar 25th amendement in nigeria constituiton to kickout Buhari?
obembet: With his goal against Sassuolo on Sunday, Cristiano Ronaldo has reached 760 career goals, with just two separating him from Josef Bican's all-time record.
The Portuguese forward scored five in 35 games at Sporting CP, 118 in 292 duels at Manchester United and 451 in 438 for Real Madrid.
At Juventus, Ronaldo has already scored 84 times in 106 encounters, also mustering 102 goals in 170 caps for the Portuguese national team.
Only Bican has more
If Ronaldo scores another two goals, he will break Bican's record (762) and become the all-time top scorer.
Various sources, including the Rec Sport Soccer Statistics Foundation (RSSSF), note that Bican has scored a total of 805 times, yet MARCA only count goals scored in professional football.
Hence, we do not take into account the 24 goals he netted for Rapid Vienna's reserves or other regional sides.
Bican's 762 goals are distributed as follows: Rapid Amateur (3), Rapid Vienna (68), Admira Vienna (21), Slavia Prague (534), Vitkovice (74), Hradec Kralove (11), Dynamo Prague (22), Austria (14), Czechoslovakia (12) and Bohemia and Moravia (3).
Pele stopped at 757 and Romario at 740
Ronaldo has already overtaken the legendary Pele, who scored 757 goals, including 643 with Santos, 77 with Brazil and 37 with New York Cosmos.
Some give Pele 644 Santos goals, but there is one that most consider to have been a Sao Bento own goal.
Meanwhile, Romario boasted of having reached 1,000 goals at the age of 41 in 2007, but he has scored a total of 740 official goals.
Messi threatens Bican... and Ronaldo
The Barcelona captain has just overtaken Pele as the top scorer in the history of a single club and has registered a total of 718 goals in his career.
Messi is expected to overtake Bican too and then focus on another dispute with Ronaldo, this time for the player who will become the greatest scorer in history.
Unstoppable Ronaldo is about to turn 36
Aged 35 and ready to turn 36 on February 5, Ronaldo averages more than one goal per Serie A game this season, having played 13 matches and scored 15 times.
He is the league's top scorer followed by Romelu Lukaku (12), Ciro Immobile (11), Joao Pedro, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Luis Muriel (10).
Ronaldo didn't manage to be crowned Capocannoniere in neither of his first two seasons at the Old Lady.
However, he was top scorer once in the Premier League in 2007/08 and three times in LaLiga Santander in 2010/11, 2013/14 and 2014/15.
In addition, Ronaldo was named Champions League's top scorer on seven occasions - more than any other footballer - in 2007/08, 2012/13, 2013/14, 2014/15, 2015/16, 2016/17 and 2017/18.
Chasing Ali Daei
If Ronaldo beats Bican's record, one of the few left to break will be that of the top scorer in the history of the national teams.
Ali Daei holds the record with a total of 109 goals and the Juventus forward needs just seven to match it.
