Please help o. My Honda accord 94(acadeny) suddenly just started revving high before shift to second gear. It just started suddenly today immediately I left the mechanic after he changed the inner cup. Please what's the likely faults becos I took it for scanning and the guy said the port isn't there.

First check the fluid level and then if you have a check engine light and the right tool check for a transmission code. Fluid level is our hunch though. Sometimes when they take CV joint out, fluid runs and they don't top off.

This is a 2005 car, I am sure none of these suspension parts has been changed abroad b4 I got the car.
I just wanna do a complete change and have that brand new feel.

That will be really good news

Without the control arms it adds up to just under 150k would have to see what's really needed when you come in and give recommendation. No need to change just to feel good if they are up to par.

For a while now I have been battling with this code on my 2007 Toyota Camry I4

P0456 evaporative emission, small Leak detected.

I have changed fuel tank cap, checked the purge valve close to the air box for leak but none.

Did you check the fuel tank itself? He might have cracked it trying to fix the pump. Even a micro-crack it chip could set it off.

The only reason Toyotas seem to have more faults is simple. There are more of them on the road. They are number 2 in sales in the US and number 1 in the world. Honda by comparison is number 4 in the US and number 7 in the world.

If you however look at the PROPORTION versus other makes, it's less. It's like saying how come more accidents happen in the USA? There are MORE CARS there. Proportionally, they can not touch Naija

Yay! I finally disagree with you. As a first car, the "EOD" is a better bet in maintenance and learning curve. Also fuel economy.

Yes, those are US Prices. Nigeria prices are different and decided by head office in Florida. The ones you saw are not available .

See below. DC means head office in Florida, Network means one of the other 29 distribution centers like us and store is us,and there are zero available. Even if there were, they weigh about 50 20 pounds (sorry, typo) each and make no sense to air freight.

Genuine rotors come in singles. Brake pads in pairs.

I would say your labour cost is pretty modest, just that every quoted part needed is to be imported and it really drove the cost high. In the course of time I would cherry pick the sensitive repairs, come with my parts, and just pay for labour instead.

We actually don't charge for shipping. Would have been the same price in stock but yes, definitely people don't know we do installations with customer parts but we do. And thank you for recognizing or labor is modest. It's part of how we try to make up for the parts.
