Mimzyy: Thank you very much. I got Naira from Mamatukwas already. Recipient will find a way to change the money to pounds in naija. Am I missing something? 1. You have £ 2. You exchanged it for NGN (thanks to the ever dependable MamaTukwas). 3. The NGN is in Nigeria. 4. Now the person will find how to change it to ££ (in Nigeria)?? To use it where? In the UK? |

Anumine: Thank you sir, but pls I'll like to know if I'm to include my IELTS academic result with the documents I'm supposed to send to UK naric for comparability statement certificate. I understand I'll need to send a scanned copy of my certificate and transcript. I'm trying to enrol for OSPAP. Thanks NO |

Anumine: UK Naric comparability statement certificate is one of the documents to be submitted to GphC now... Infact, there's a column for UK naric no on the form. I guess they just reviewed it in Scan your original certificate. Scan your transcripts. Pay the NARIC fees. Provide an address where you want them to send your comparability certificate to. Submit those. And wait for them. If they require more information ( I don’t think they will), they will ask you. Don’t bother about IELTS. That’s a different kettle of ponmo |

fatiscoproduct: Bo, Thanks, I studied Mechanical Engineering for my HND and i have 8 years of work experience in Logistics and Supply Chain management. I am applying for MSc in Logistics and Supply Chain management in Glasgow Caledonian University. With that kind of experience, a ‘top up’ may not be necessary. Unless you have an attachment to GCU, I would look elsewhere. |

Anyone with student life experience in Glasgow?
As naija concern, you know we will have to hustle to complete the school fees, is Glasgow the kind of city you can hustle and meet up with the expenses?
I need honest response please Hustling to pay small small bills and to get by is very very possible. Hustling in Glasgow to pay school fees balance, without breaking the tier4 rules (20 hours of work per week) will be difficult, very very difficult. Depends on how much the school fees balance is sha. |

fatiscoproduct: I need advice, I am married with two kids, I have HND with over right years of work experience in Supply chain management. The schools are not willing to offer me MSc because I don't have a BSc but one of the schools offered me a top up degree of two years after which I can proceed on for my MSc. My question is, would I be issued a VISA for an undergraduate program as a married man ? I want to close out the Admission this week so I can pay the fees and wait for CAS.
Please I need your honest advise. What you left out: 1. The course you studied for the HND 2. The course(s) you would like to pursue in the UK. Those 2 would go a long way in shaping the kind of responses you will get from folks here. |

Chukwuka16: I wouldn't advise him telling you the name of his company on a public forum. CBN has banned Naira remittance and what stops me from doing one single transaction with him and getting his Naira remittance account and reporting same to CBN to flag that BVN? Even Transferwise got banned for late compliance!
______________________________________________ @Tobexin I also think coming here on this platform to advertise your trade isn't ideal (it's not primarily a business driven forum with business minded people so abundance of caution is the default response and besides, your business is in the 'grey' area). If simple currency 'barter' like is done here, then no qualms (you may want to consider having multiple bank accounts). While I appreciate your business ideals on KYC/AML, unfortunately, you need to be registered with the iCO as an organisation to process peoples records (exemptions apply). Now you can't register with the iCO as you can't legally be a director under new Tier-4 policy. If you work for an 'establishment' then you need to be certain of the ffg: - How are clients/ monies received – personal or business account? - Is my organisation registered with the iCO? - Is your business registered with the FCA (not authorised assuming turnover monthly is </= €2 million)? - Do I work 20 hours max each week (reflected on your payslip)?
My definition of an establishment is a registered entity on companies house (with 66110 or 66190 as one of its objects).
Lastly, with regards to rate, c'mon 638! That's not fair na. As at yesterday, bulk sellers were asking for 652! Even with that, arbitrage will still give you 5-6 Naira differential. You want to chop a whopping 19-25 Naira per £. Guy, fear God o. __________________________________________________________________ A company which can demand for my photo ID. BRP. Passport. Personal Identification documents etc... yet you will not advise an employee (or owner) of that company to come clean? Bros Chukwuka, the second part of your post makes some sense. The first part? Nahhhhh |

Tobexin: make una no vex. Make una no send ID Abeg. I don tired to talk. On this same Nairaland ohhh... I have ‘met’ 3 persons who exchanged £ for Naira for me. The first person sent me the naira, even before I sent the ££ I was astonished at the trust. When I contacted MamaTukwas, the exchange was so smooth I was surprised. On another occasion, I wanted Naira, I sent @Omopapa a message on this same Nairaland, gbam! Money hit my account. When I wanted to use small world, they asked for my documents. I grudgingly provided, because they are a company, with a registered address. I guess you need to mention the name of YOUR the company, then I could check to know if the company has the capacity to request my passport, driving licence and BRP |

Gracegal: Not quite sure yet... I just assumed it will be better to come clean from the onset from what I have been reading from nairlanders. Q. Have you even been denied visa to UK? YES Q. Reason for Refusal Inadequate funds Marital status: Married The application form does not even ask you to write your marriage (wedding) date anyway. If I were in your shoes, I wouldn’t bother writing any explanatory notes. People marry. People divorce. People separate. People do till-sidechick-do-us-part. ECO probably has more bigger fish to fry than to be forensically examining your previous application form. You are not refused for fraud or something sinister. Go for it girl! |

Sego12345: Gurus in the house, how lucrative and what's the job prospect for someone who studied 'M.Sc. operation management' in the UK? Disclaimer: I am not a guru. My ‘church mind’ advice: I would advise the person to visit UK job sites (such as indeed, Reed, CV library, TotalJobs, etc). Search carefully for the skill sets required of an MSc Operation Management holder. My inner thoughts: MSc in operations management (on its own) will not place you above other applicants in the job market. |

Chreze: For COVID matter, I think avoiding using the bus because of getting infected is a little too much cos the chances in supermarket, shopping centers and even your house door knob (not your room) is also a risky thing to do.
I have one rule, in whatever you do, don’t take your nose mask off or touch your face and if you must take off the mask (to use faceID), make sure to use a hand sanitizer. For me I go out and not take it off all day, I have accepted that it’s our new accessory. You enter a bus, give space and be careful. Come down use hand sanitizer immediately. But avoiding a bus for fear of COVID mean you will avoid going to supermarkets, you will also avoid delivery of grocery cos you don’t know who selected the items you ordered if he’s infected.
The earlier you start to live with the virus, the better for you Cos from what I am seeing, the Virus is gonna be around for some years. Not just because of the vaccines, but because of the people. People still have little or no idea about the virus and some still thinks it’s the government trying to control the people. Some still believe say Na 5G because dia pastor talk am, Senator Dino Melaye come confam am. |

Have you guys also received the emails, and have you started getting the jabs? What’s your take on it.I Don’t know the conspiracy theory about it altering our DNA’s. See the damage ‘Dr’ Stella Immanuel et al have caused? It’s all nonsense. The vaccines can NOT alter the DNA. The most basic biology of the animal cell should provide enough evidence that the idea of DNA alteration is pure nonsense. It’s possible your other half have their genuine concerns about safety, and long term effect. But all the talk about DNA alteration is pure rubbish. |
