marylandcakes: Me I dey fear this vaccine. The little microbiology/biochemistry courses I took at uni are coming back to me and I know that MRNA has to do with dna nucleus. There is no way I am going to allow anyone to inject another organisms dna into me. What of if like spider man the two DNA fuses to form a different organism? Everything that is happening today we used to watch in films, so no one should come here and say it can’t happen because the truth is nobody really knows. It’s all trial and error. See that bolded? It shows one or two things; Either that You had an extremely rubbish “biochemistry/microbiology” course. Or The little you remember has left you Mis/Ill-informed. If your biochemistry & Microbiology teachers in Uni failed to teach you the central dogma of molecular biology: DNA->RNA->Protein Then you need to get your money back. But as my own lecturer in Uni was fond of quoting Alexander Pope: “A little learning is a dangerous thing; Drink deep or taste not of the Pierian spring. There shallow draughts intoxicate the brain, And drinking largely sobers us again” Besides, the Astra Zeneca vaccine is not an mRNA Vaccine. |

My spouse currently is not bearing my surname on her passport but we have registered for another one which will be out probably by Dec 10 but the issue is her Tuberculosis test is scheduled for Nov 29 and her current passport bears her name. Please can she use her current passport for the TBS? Then use the new passport that will bear my surname for her visa applocation.... Will there be any issue. Please advise Old passport: her maiden nam Proposed new passport: your name. In between old and new passports, has she legally done a change-of-name? If she has, then you will need to attach the documents, including the newspaper cut-out. And a little explanatory note to mention that she is one, and the same person. |

Gbolly101: Hi everyone, I’m not sure this is the right platform for this but I have no choice presently , I’ll like to move to Uk to start a career in nursing, the issue is I studied a non related course in university. 1. Is it possible to study nursing for masters for just 2 years ? 2. Can I start another nursing programme for not more than 2 years ? 3. What is the probability of staying after my studies ? 4. I have enough money to put into this but I want to be sure it’ll be worth it at the end.. thanks everyone Option 1: (cheap? Option). Enroll for a Nursing course in Nigeria. Complete the course. Register in Nigeria as a Rwgistered nurse. Then migrate to the UK. Caveat: Ngige+Buhari+ASUU can mess you up big time, unless if you want to go to a School of Nursing, rather than University. Option 2: (Depending on what your previous qualifications/experience are): Get admission for masters in Nursing. A a school that is accredited and be sure you can practice when you finish. You may wish to check Hertfordshire Uni, Dundee Uni (I think masters adult nursing there is for 3 years). Finally: Do you want to go into nursing because you have passion for the job, or you simply want to leave Buharigeria? |

Tobexin: you are not absolutely correct.... some price of things won’t be affected. House rents remain the same, school fee remains the same. Last March I sent £1000 to my young ones for school fee which come out to be N500,000 while last week I sent the same £1000 which comes out to be N610,000 the school fee didn’t change meaning they have more extra money to spend. Tobi: Call them, ask them how much they are using to transport themselves from home to school. Ask them how much they are buying food from that bukka behind their hostel. Ask them how much they are buying petrol to put in their Tiger generator. Ask them how much they are now using to buy a pot of iso-Ewu. Ask them how many KG of gas 5k can now buy. After asking them those, do a comparison of pre-500 and post-500. Then you will understand that the ‘extra’ is not ‘extra’ anymore. |

Now would be a good time to send money back home..
Hurrah!! You see the bolded part, it shows there are a thing or two we need to learn about economics. There is no hurrah here. £1 to 500naira (your relatives in Nigeria could buy 1 bag of onions). £1 to 610 naira (your relatives in nigeria can only buy 12 pieces of onions). What is there to hurray? Ask your relatives in nigeria how much a bag of cement costs now. |

1. Cost of car - surely 5000£ is too small if your car is a 2020 Aston Martin. 2. Age of driver 3. Profession of driver 4. How long have you had your license for? Omoolobi: Hey guys, Pls for a new comer to Heathrow Airport, which terminal will one go to?
I'm going to Hertfordshire.
I'm trying to book trainline to my destination from d airport, but I see a lots of terminal points 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, underground etc. Our seniors, pls help oh Post Edited: I meant Thameslink from Finsbury Park. Greater Anglia trains don’t go through Hatfield. Option 1: Underground-National Rail Take Piccadilly Line from any of the terminals Straight to Finsbury Park. Get on the Greater Anglia Thameslink train Service to Hatfield (I am assuming that Hertfordshire, you meant the closest to the University). Otherwise you need to be a little more specific about where in Hertfordshire precisely is your final destination. Option 2: Take Uber from Heathrow to your destination. |

fatima04: Hahaha it seems people are giving up on deposit easily because of Children, why now. I have always gotten my deposit back. Infact I just assisted my sister in writing to DPS and we WON.
We were willing to part with half of the deposit because of the dampness etc but the agents became greedy and at the point of the claim, they submitted a quote more than the value of the deposit. We just vex and challenged with email evidence of the complaints and all oo and bam we got the money back.
One good thing I learnt from everyone here when I landed was make sure your complaint is formal and documented and that was what helped with the claim. That was how one landlord wanted to keep my deposit too. Dude became too greedy. I appealed. Attached evidence and emails. The day I won that case, I was thrilled. A couple of days later, I saw £1,120 in my bank account. Wallahi I had an orgasmic wonderful feeling. |

erico2k2: come o n Bro why are you tlking like this,? How on earth are you going to get a Mortgage with financial history of even 3 years? even with a history of 5 to 7 years the Deposit will be minimum of at least 30% people born here who applied for mortgage as 1st time buyers get up to 25%\ and for the govt helpto buy scheame thats another fraud on thier part, its a long thing, you are going to drop at least 15% of that and you are buying a % of the mortgage. Leasing a car is very expenssive, the cast majority of young people in the UK who lease live with their parents, or are living rent free. Talking about sell off, well Lexus Im not being rude but if you own your House ie mortgage you will know that there are clause bonding you to the agreement of remortgaging your house for XY years, its meanimum of 3 years in most cases. The reality on ground is harsher than tall buildings and fine environments! Thanks Erico... I have more than 3 years financial history. Do you have any tips for me? I really need a mortgage, Truly. 15,000 in 1 year on rent alone. For a 2-bed flat. It ain’t it at all. Am I eligible for the Government help to buy? What % do I need to have to be eligible, please? |
