@Poster: Click here to read this Guide on how to dual boot Windows XP and Windows Vista. I recommend that you leave Windows Vista installed on the Machine! |
dozrmars made some points yh! thats true , after installing WIndows XP, there's a tendency that Windows Vista might not show up during startup! this is true, but there are several articles with ways to dual boot Windows Vista/XP. You will need a small handy tool called "Easy BCD" - Google for that! dozymars:My Dear Friend, when did an Operating System become a Device . . ? First of all, What are Drivers? I understand a driver to be a program that controls a device. Every device, whether it be a printer, disk drive, or keyboard, must have a driver program. Many drivers, such as the keyboard driver, come with the operating system. For other devices, you may need to load a new driver when you connect the device to your computer. In DOS systems, drivers are files with a.SYS extension. In Windows environments, drivers often have a.DRV extension. It was not mentioned any where that an OS is a device, and drivers are required to have your OS show up on Grub [oops, sorry - linux addict] errmm . . .on the Windows Boot Loader.So Please, explain if I made a mistake somewhr! |

Good PC specs! Core2duo . . thats 1derful. , |
Why don't u format the Laptop and re-establish Windows on the machine! But there might be a little problem, the driver CD that came along with your laptop may be designed to work with Windows Vista alone, so after formatting, You may not get sound, ethernet controllers and some other stuff. Unless, you are willing to saerch online and download the drivers compatible with Windows XP for ur laptop! meanwhile, check the CD that came with the laptop (Drivers CD) and confirm the Operating system that are compatible with the software. If Windows XP is listed, then ur good to go! |
hmmm . . . . let moi saw ![]() |
@tunnypop: U design & engineer Inverters . . .? can we talk on PM . . . |
lol . . . .ofcourse NO! ![]() |
@TOPIC: What more can I say, Bigbrovar said it all . . . @Inze: I am not surprised that nobody talked about Celeron Brands! Celeron's are similar to Pentium M Computers, but come with additional add-ins! They are known to be faster and produce more heat . . Although, There are new Celeron Computers known as Celeron Mobile (Celeron M). it seems, Celeron realised their mistakes in preeceding models and put that into consideration while producing the Celeron M series. On my own, I can not purchase a Celeron system, whether Celeron Q K D or whatever! Although, its not bad - just confirm that they have two super processor coolers before u buy ![]() |
