OGHENAOGIE:I think the point here is, how many governors have used public funds to build churches the way those northerners are doing, using public funds to build mosques and send thousands of people out every year for pilgrimage? they should have channeled the money into building universities and more secondary schools. You know how many churches that have universities now as we speak, helping the government solve education problem in one way or the other. How many big mosques or Islamic organizations have universities in Nigeria that can further relieve the educational deficits? The churches that are everywhere were not built by government. |
We4all:That's interesting, I think I can see your side to it, you have a good view to that, but music is multifaceted, it all depends on the angle you're looking at it from. Music has gotten to a stage globally that individual now has what turns him or her on, meaning that what you value in a music is different from what someone else values, that's why it's possible for some wack songs to become super hits all of a sudden. As much as you value songs with properly arranged lyrics telling a story or giving revelations about a stuff or preaching morality in the society with a soothing and resounding voice, without being properly produced, it will still amount to noise to some ear. Though I'm an advocate of a moral-teaching and good tale-telling music, the production of the song is also as vital to me as the lyrics. Artists from Ghana are still trying hard to copy Nigerian style of music because they feel our music is better than theirs, also you will wonder how whizkid and Burna boy keep getting their songs nominated at the grammy, not that these songs have any superb content or message like that, but there's more to them than message. Genre of music too has its place in this, Olamide is a rapper with harsh tonal voicing, that's his identity and originality as a musician. Some will tell you they don't like it when a rapper is doing the thing like someone drenched in the rain, feeling cold. |
We4all:Give me three examples of real music you've listened to that are not noise. I am a well trained musician, a music producer and sound engineer, give me the songs that are not noise to you, and I will analyse them professionally. You will also need to define noise in your own context. No bad blood, just need to learn from your sense of judgement. |
Realzikkist:And if you check well, the idiot might be living in a mud house. |
For notherners to even bring gej into this permutation shows they are power drunk, I have never seen a tribe so greedy as these people with one useless born-to-rule mentality. We will keep having the same result as long as we are still together under the evil constitution we are currently using. Let us go our different ways and let the north be enjoying their born-to-rule mentality over there. |
How about this, the politicians deliberately opened the border to seize more than enough rice that will be distributed to hungry voters during the electioneering campaigns and the rest, at least that will cut down their expenses a little, considering the heavy fee they'll pay to acquire form and other logistics. |
Dugaya:The same question I keep asking myself here, how will people decide to choose war in place of peace? at the end of this war, who loses, who gains? can millions of lives that are already lost be brought back to life? why are we so crazy as humans? |
Sorry sir, your vision and mission are dead before arrival, not even on arrival this time, rural idiot. |
43Ronin:That's his word at every election season. Election is not won by just telling your congregation that you'll be the next president. |
dawnomike:I tell u my brother, just to capture a man. It's like going to a minor war with neighbouring country. |
Ayobiggie59:If what is written up there makes him the best president so far, then I think you'll have to redefine the word "BEST". When he took over the mantle of leadership, One of his first actions was the compulsory retirement order he gave to top ranking officers at the Nigerian customs then, which affected the cadre from number two to number seven, most of whom were not from the northern extraction, he then installed the next in rank to number 7 in the cadre to Comptroller General, who is from the northern extraction. As at the time he came in as president, the comptroller general then has completed his tenure and retired. I could remember then that the second in rank to comptroller general was from Osun, they were all retired by force. No matter how good a Fulani president may be, one thing you can't separate from them is tribalism and nepotism. When it comes to power, they don't obey federal character, that word exists only in the dictionary of southerners. Indeed Yaradua tried his best for Nigeria, but his short stay in office did not give him the privilege to showcase what he's up to, in terms of good governance. Since 1999, Nigeria has not really enjoyed good governance for complete 4 years. |
Bakary Gassama will surely be there, that man thoroughly understands the art of refreeing with high level of coordination and confidence. His level of awareness and IQ on the pitch is impeccable, and his sense of judgement on the pitch is superb and accurate, with minimal or no officiating error. One of the very best referees we have around now in the world of football. |
miltonchux:How person go tell me to send money and I go send am, I be mumu? Currently in Nigeria, virtually everyone is looking for means to cheat others and get away with their money. |
Stating the obvious here again, do these bodies need to keep reminding us of our agonies and pains? it's like scratching the surface of a wound to cause deeper pains. You can't help our situation, and you keep rubbing our wound's surface, what the hell do u want to gain from that? |
Perfectnumber6:I bin dey think say na only me dey notice the exchange rate at the background. Imagine say na naira dey exchange for dollar like that, I for dey US now for masters. God punish all of them wey dey behind naira devaluation against US dollars. |
D babalawo wey do dis thing 4 dis guy, d kind bulala wey he go chop @ d gate of hell dey inside furnace, undergoing refinement. |
davidtemi:If you know, you know. |
Waakanda:Hmmmn! definition of grace pls. |
virginprincess:A Man's food is another's poison |
Whazar:Then you're as good as 6 feet beneath, don't even try it, because it's more or less a suicide mission. |
Connected1:My brother, there's nothing to be sorry about, they are part of the learning curve. I've been a risk taker right from my young age, and I have a strong passion for my field, so I see every bit of failure as a lesson to learn, and not as a failure per se. There are some lessons you learn in the classroom, while you learn some on the field of practice. That's why when I talk, people ask me how I came about such deep knowledge, I tell them my years of experience has been my greatest asset. With time, you too will build such asset. Examining a colonized bee hive and the environment where it is sighted, I can tell you the average litter of honey the hive can give you at harvest, believe you me, that's how you will meet it at harvest. It's not jazz, it's experience. |
Connected1:You can't use the place for bee keeping, ants, termites, moths and land prone to heavy wind and noise are natural enemies of bees, I have lost some of my most productive colonies to these natural enemiess in the past. |
This is the thing, north determines who becomes president, abokis understand the game than other tribes, any party that flags a capable northerner wins the game, no matter how unpopular the party may be, that's where northerners will flock to. They are already playing the game by encouraging more southerners to show interest in the presidential race to divide the votes that will come from the south. Abokis no get brain, says who? |
Connected1:You're welcome |
Connected1:That word melts my heart when I hear it from youths with no background in Agriculture. That's the word that keeps me going in my field. You see, passion gets killed by frustration arising from continuous failure in a particular area of endeavour, most especially when you've committed a large chunk of your life savings into it. This is my candid advice, You can go for crop farming for now, such as cassava farming, it requires less attention from the farmer. You can try out other crops like maize, groundnut, yam. For animals, your attention is always needed, no matter what. But if you have a small piece of land that you have control over, close to natural vegetation, you can start bee keeping, it requires less attention, highly profitable and very interesting. |
Connected1:Another good reason why a room and parlour won't be a good idea is that it won't be easy to manage the litter. When cages are used, there must be a good drainage underneath the cages that will allow easy packing of the litter (fowl dung), or flushing of the litter frequently. Your best bet is to rent an unused poultry pen, there may be some little capacity pens around you if you can make some findings, that will be better. There are two major types of housing system in poultry. We have : Closed house system - Where all the sides of the poultry building are fully blocked or closed, while the enclosed building is fully climate-controlled and automated. it is used by all these big poultry farms such as Zartech, Agrited, Olam, Globus and so on. Open house system - Here, the four sides of the building is open, no walls. The sides are only covered with chicken nets to confine the birds and allow free flow of air (ventilation). Laying birds can generate lots of heat, coupled with ammonia gas from their litter and the environmental heat, birds need plenty of ventilation in their confinement to get rid of excess heat. A parlour and room won't help that, because they are semi-closed area. I think you get the point now. If you won't be there to monitor the birds yourself or give them the needed attention, please forget about the idea of starting a poultry, don't waste your money. There are lots of intriguing facts I'll like many people to know about poultry farming, these facts are based on many years of getting my hands dirty in the field, there are ups and downs, profits and losses, happy days and sad days, but above all, I can say farming is the way, and remains a goldmine if you go by the rules. Keep asking your questions here, and I'll do my best to answer based on first hand experience. |
Connected1:Ok, it's good you have interest in poultry farming, egg production in particular, I salute you. Now there are things you need to be aware of about poultry farming, and by God's grace, I will expose everything you need to know to you without adding colour. The success and failure of poultry is in management. Everything you will learn will be from my wealth of hands-on experience in the field of animal production. Now to start with, I will not recommend you renting a room and parlour to practise cage system of poultry farming, not even the deep litter system, because it won't be easy to control the Ammonia gas generated by the birds' droppings (poultry dung). Besides, nobody will rent out his or her property to you for such purpose, because the waste from the poultry will surely be a big issue within the neighbourhood, the foul odour will be hard to control, that's why you wont find any serious poultry establishment in a residential area. I will be back here when I return back home in the evening. |
The kind soap wey dem take prepare concoction for this guy no dey discriminate now, Nah WAZOBIA dem take buy d soap. Even if d guy enter Sokoto d seat of Caliphate during dis Ramadan, all d aboki dem go spray am money. The herbalist that finished this guy's work will not make heaven, walahi. |
I have this feeling that all these buying of presidential nomination forms up and down is a plot to deal a big blow on someone. But wait, 1 hundred million naira to buy a sheet of paper that's not even appealing to the sight? |
Tell us what you feel is the most pressing need, give us your strategy on how you're going to meet the needs withing a reasonable time frame, say something about the structure you've put in place to kick-start and have a smooth achievement of the set goals, then may be we can reason with you and give you a chance. Not just saying sweet words to corner us, we are wiser now, enough of propaganda and deceit. |
