Abi o! see the so called political heavyweights lining up for food like the almajiris, Tinubu is indeed struggling for this seat. He's ready to do anything thrown at him just to become president at all cost.

And he ruled for a whole 52 years? Will you as a person even spend up to 52 years on earth?
That's extreme, no man can determine what fellow man will spend on earth, he only said his opinion which you can counter in a more decent manner. Everybody is entitled to his or her opinion, which may not necessarily go down well with others. Even some may be presented in the most horrible way, yet it doesn't mean it should be countered in a brutal manner. We must all learn to respect others' opinion and treat people with respect. My token.

As much as I don't too fancy US, to a large extent, it remains the number 1 spot for any Nigerian in terms of opportunities. The only country you can become something out of nothing if you can just give it a little push. I can't imagine a vulcanizer here in Nigeria finding his way to America, only to return few years later as a medical surgeon. He was here in Nigeria and they were calling him from there to give his medical advice over a medical condition. It was like a dream to me.

That's your view to the whole scenario, the OP himself knew what this could bring on her marriage, that's why he's here to seek people's opinion on whether to alert her about the sex tape or not, I responded to your assertions justifying her actions based on the time the sex tape was made public. You may be right with the fact that we process things differently, but I still reiterate, except for coming open to the husband before their marriage about all her previous love affairs, this might be a big issue for her. It may not mean anything to you, but it will mean a lot to many people.

What amusing news! so reporters were in the bush covering the event when they were clashing, and they were counting them as they were dropping dead? How were they able to identify the commanders among the dead bodies (if there were any)? Where are the photos? and finally, who are the ones fooling & who are the fooled.

Kobojunkie:
Well, so what you are saying is that all the women with nudes and sextapes in Nigeria remain unmarried to this day? undecided
I don't say that, but this is the case;
- It's either the husband was aware of the sextape during their courtship and there has been a mutual agreement to overlook it and move on.
- The lady is aware of the sextape being on the internet, but decides to keep it as a secret to herself and away from her husband, praying he doesn't find out.

You can't expect a man to stumble on his wife's sextape on a porn site when the wife has not for once told him about such, and expect the man not to take some crazy actions. Forget about whether the video was posted before or after their wedding, the trust can never be there anymore. 95% of men will not continue in that marriage, even if they manage to move on, there can not be trust again. That's why it's always good to open up in totality to one's partner during courtship, to avoid any future backlash.

She probably knows who made the video and can have him reported to the police for violating her right in such a way. As for taking down the video, I am not sure how it can happen down there but she csn maybe contact the company for help on how to go about that. undecided

But left to me, so long as the video was not made while she was with her husband, I see no reason why it should be held against her. undecided
My brother, no man can take that, including you sir. It's easier said than done. Millions of people are watching what you paid heavy bride price on, free on the internet? Anyway, if and only if the husband was aware of it before their marriage, otherwise, there's no way it wont be held against her. How do you think the husband's relatives will feel when they accidentally stumbled on the video online? It will even be too shameful for the husband, because if the later gets to know, walking freely in the street becomes difficult, this is Nigeria, not America where no one cares about your lifestyle.

No limit to greatness in life, you can always attain your goals no matter your circumstance or status. If this woman is still in her marriage as at the time she achieved this, then all thanks to the husband who gave her every support she needs to attain this feat, unlike some devil incarnates who only have passion in killing their wives' potentials, turning them into a punching bag and sniffing life out of them.

Investing into Agriculture is a brilliant decision, But meeting the right minds to work it out is always the problem. If you wouldn't mind, I will be of great help, because I love it when people show interest in my field, it gives me an impression that I'm not alone in this field. There are a whole lot of areas to venture into, depending on the interest of the investor. One thing I do tell people as an Agriculture expert is that, no line in Agriculture is not profitable, also no line in Agriculture is not capable of ruining a farmer or investor if not handled properly as a business. I can be of help in guiding you through.

AgricultureRe: Please Where Can Hatch Geese Egg In Lagos. by Raph82(m): 8:41am On Apr 21, 2022
I don't know much about hatcheries in Lagos, but there are lots of commercial hatcheries here in Ibadan who can handle that for a good result, provided your geese eggs are fertile and viable. If you have turkey or duck laying eggs for incubation, you can put some of the geese eggs there to incubate and hatch. A duck once incubated and hatched 2 eggs for me, out of 5. One thing is for your geese to lay often, another thing is for them to give you fertile eggs, you need to work on that, very important.

Smiles... Its ok then. I don't know what species of yam you might think of, or the species the op must have planted.

If its the Abakiliki species that I do plant, some of the harvest are way longer than a bag of cement, and very fat in breadth.

So imagine confining that to a bag of cement, you have certainly killed your harvest. In addition, the growth is not what one can think of in a bag of cement. We use strong and longer bamboo to stake them. Even at that, most of them still break the stake when there's wind.
I think those from Benue, Nasarawa etc can give you a better picture of planting in a bag and in a soil.
I think I'll love to work with that variety of yam, I am looking at a small scale, like 20 stands of them in a giant sac (50 kg sac). This is not a commercial scale thing, just small scale at the backyard, just to see how it will fair. This variety of yam you're talking about is not common in the southwest.

So you think a whole yam is like waterleaf that you can plant in a sack.
Do you know that yam is a deep rooted crop? Or you think he's talking about sweet potato?

Have you even been to a yam farm and see how the roots spread? Now, he will have to confine the roots to just a bag of cement.

Ok, check how the yam is growing, compare it to the normal growth of yam.

That yam can never bear good yield. Let’s just wait till he updates us when he harvest. I know you have never been to a farm before
Smiles, don't worry, I've never been to the farm before, but I did not study Agriculture on paper, we are all in this together, to really prove your point, you can plant in a sac and plant on the ground, give the same plants equal treatment, make sure you plant on the same type of soil, top soil. Then compare the result at the end of the day. You waiting for the OP's result may not cut it, and it won't be fair to conclude before starting an experiment. There are many factors that can cause stunted tubers at harvest, if all conditions are perfectly met, you'll be amazed with the result. Mind you, with the roots, yam has a wonderful root system that finds its way into the soil, senses where the nutrient is and moves to the direction. We've seen roots finding its way amidst rocky soil, that's root for you.

You are planting yam in sack.. A whole yam that likes stretching itself.

And people are actually commenting 'nice one'.
Nawa o, no wonder I am seeing stunted growth.
Yam doesn't leaves with such short tendrils, it will shoot its stem to the highest height of the stake before it even consider leaves.

You may end up harvesting potato sized yam. You can still transplant them now before you end up wasting your time.
Like others have said, keep us updated whrn you harvest.
Bro let me ask you a question, have you harvested a yam before? how does it grow? vertically or sideways?

Vertical yam planting in a cement bag?

Kindly remind me what type of farming system is that?

So that I will make a research on it and how yielding its.

I will like to teach my students one day.
It's not vertical farming, there's difference between vertical farming and sac farming. We learn everyday, and no knowledge is a waste.

Very nice.
Considering this option too. Do you think the bags may limit size or number of tubers? How many tubers are you expecting per bag?
To a large extent, it won't limit the size of the tuber, this has been experimented many times, and results have confirmed that. Though other factors may determine what the size of the tuber will be at harvest, such as;
- The size and quality of the planting seed
- The type of soil loaded into the sac bag (yam has it's preferable soil to thrive well, sandy-loam/ loamy soil is the best). The soil must be loose enough to give room for the tuber to enlarge and grow.
- Right nutrient needed for growth by the plant.

Hello you and Raph82, I support PStacks’s point and it’s not about negativity.

@OP, while we are being innovative, let us try as much as possible to do what is safe (healthwise, etc.) and ethical. Cement is hazardous and the bags are plastic bags; growing yams in those bag means the crop will be exposed to various toxins, and by extension, the people who consume them (even you, the farmer, you are exposing yourself as you handle those bags). Cancers, lungs and kidney diseases and others are prevalent nowadays because of harmful practices that we indulge in, sometimes unintentionally. If we had a functioning standards and control agency, they should study methods like this and put out advisories so that people like you will be more informed. Kindly ask questions from scientific and medical experts and study research - I know there are people who are already engaged in methods like this and even others, but let us begin to educate ourselves please and do the right thing for our sake and for posterity as we do not have a functioning government.
My brother, thank you for your concern and contribution, that bag does not look like it's not washed, we know how a bag of cement that's not washed will look like. Talking about planting in sack bags, I don't think it's having the kind of dangerous picture you painted when it comes to using it to plant. I understand we don't have quality control measures here, but they do in America, and they permit the use of sack bags for planting. All the vertical farming and soilless farming being practised in advanced countries, they use plastics in planting, plant roots extract the needed nutrients from the nutrient solution contained in a plastic, this one appears to be more dangerous to me than sack farming, yet it is certified safe. In sack farming, there is soil medium around the plant, the sack is not even touching the plant. At times when you are tilling the soil, you'll come across many buried nylons, polythene bags, plastics and so on, yet we plant in the ground and eat the crops that come out of it, Sack farming was approved by FAO itself, you can check it out.
