Farid24224:
As a humble Muslim, I truly condemn this completely..
The Holy Prophet (SAW) was insulted throughout his life time and he never once killed or punish his enemies for abusing him .It wasn't written in both the Qur'an and Hadith to kill whoever insults the Prophet (SAW). So bad ignorance have overcomed the Muslim Ummah!! May Allah SWT guide us to the righteous part..Ameen
What a different orientation! what baffles me most is that these reprobate-minded Northerners believe they are the purest Muslims on earth, even purer than the Arabs. They regard southern Muslims as unbelievers. I don't know who implanted this evil orientation in them. I can't imagine myself now fighting people for calling Jesus Christ all sorts of bad names, let alone killing them. He send me make I fight for am?

If it's your blood sister that was murdered in this gruesome manner, will u still come here to type this? Does it even occur to u that life is sacred to God Almighty who made it? Why do u have to join the Northerner's stupidity and extremists' mentality to participate in shedding human blood all because they claimed she blasphemed their prophet whose ideology and doctrinal stands keep ravaging the world in this 21st century? Are u for real?

It's always good to be unbiased and find out facts before making judgments. Love him or hate him, Peter Obi has ever been like this. When he was a Governor that he could fly in Business Class or even Private Jets with his state's resources, he was naturally flying economy. I was on the same flight with him and was so surprised to see him sitting comfortably in an economy seat with us on the plane. This is the type of leader Nigeria needs, not one fake pretender who will become president and appoint Lagos agberos as Ministers or SSA.
I did not know much about him while he was a governor, but if what you said is true about him and he's been doing this even while he's a governor, then I believe he can give his best for a better Nigeria, just that there's a great limitation on whoever will be the next president, and that's the Constitution we currently romance, until it is thrown into the thrash and new one is formed that will devolve power to the state and local government, we are not yet ready for a new Nigeria.

I actually wanted to help you reply him in such a polite manner that he will feel embarrassed and see himself as a fool, but since you've done it your own way, there's nothing to say again. Everything should not be about raining insults and abusive words on ourselves before we drive down our point, everyone is entitled to his or her opinion and this must be respected by others. I have given opinions here that I got abused over, it's either other people attacked the abusers in cases where I didn't reply or my replies with maturity sends them into eternal silence, many even apologized for their foolishness. So you can't fight dirty with people on Nairaland, it will only make you dirtier. You get it my sister.

coccidiosis I guess. Try looking for the vaccine. And separate the sick birds from the healthy ones.
No, that's not coccidiosis, this is not caused by coccidia, the predilection site for coccidia is the lining and walls of the gastrointestinal tract. Once this site is eroded, the affected bird passes out bloody faeces, followed by other symptoms. This is more of infectious coryza or fowl pox.

Christianity EtcRe: Egbe Donates Land For Deeper Life University by Raph82(m):
No one disputes the fact that many mosques were privately built or not, but some governors in the north still strongly believe that using public funds to build as many worship centres as possible is obligatory, I've lived among them, so I know what I'm saying, one of their governors destroyed a roundabout and built mosque there not quite long. The bottom line here is that, to change the narrative in the education sector, both religions must do more in supporting education. In the north for instance, Islamic organizations will rather prefer to build 50 almajiri schools for quranic study purpose than building a university, even if it will cost them more. That's why we have several extremist groups springing up over there, kicking against western educationn. If we can channel more energy into educating our young ones as we do for religion, we will have less of terrorism to battle with. [somete author=OGHENAOGIE post=112648556] you want to write your own rubbish abi... Many mosques in Nigeria were privately built inform yourself if u no Sabi[/quote]

OGHENAOGIE:
how many mosque are built compare to churches in Nigeria?... Ina must write nonsense Everytime...
I think the point here is, how many governors have used public funds to build churches the way those northerners are doing, using public funds to build mosques and send thousands of people out every year for pilgrimage? they should have channeled the money into building universities and more secondary schools. You know how many churches that have universities now as we speak, helping the government solve education problem in one way or the other. How many big mosques or Islamic organizations have universities in Nigeria that can further relieve the educational deficits? The churches that are everywhere were not built by government.

Ok. Let me be brief. Hitherto, if you wanted to annoy me, just play a Nigerian/Ghanaian song. This is because I consider lyrics a very important part of music.

But recently, I started to really appreciate their music and how it makes me feel. So right now, think of a music like ‘Kwaku the Traveller’ and how soothing and relaxing it makes one feels.

There’s also ‘Feeling’ by Ladipoe with a great rhythm.
There are others but I can’t recall their titles right now.

I have listened to a couple of Olamide’s songs, and he rants more than he sings; hence my judgement of his music being noise to the ears.
That's interesting, I think I can see your side to it, you have a good view to that, but music is multifaceted, it all depends on the angle you're looking at it from. Music has gotten to a stage globally that individual now has what turns him or her on, meaning that what you value in a music is different from what someone else values, that's why it's possible for some wack songs to become super hits all of a sudden.

As much as you value songs with properly arranged lyrics telling a story or giving revelations about a stuff or preaching morality in the society with a soothing and resounding voice, without being properly produced, it will still amount to noise to some ear. Though I'm an advocate of a moral-teaching and good tale-telling music, the production of the song is also as vital to me as the lyrics.

Artists from Ghana are still trying hard to copy Nigerian style of music because they feel our music is better than theirs, also you will wonder how whizkid and Burna boy keep getting their songs nominated at the grammy, not that these songs have any superb content or message like that, but there's more to them than message.

Genre of music too has its place in this, Olamide is a rapper with harsh tonal voicing, that's his identity and originality as a musician. Some will tell you they don't like it when a rapper is doing the thing like someone drenched in the rain, feeling cold.

I don’t have any ‘best musician’ but I am a connoisseur of music and feels when a music is noise to the ears.
Give me three examples of real music you've listened to that are not noise. I am a well trained musician, a music producer and sound engineer, give me the songs that are not noise to you, and I will analyse them professionally. You will also need to define noise in your own context. No bad blood, just need to learn from your sense of judgement.

For notherners to even bring gej into this permutation shows they are power drunk, I have never seen a tribe so greedy as these people with one useless born-to-rule mentality. We will keep having the same result as long as we are still together under the evil constitution we are currently using. Let us go our different ways and let the north be enjoying their born-to-rule mentality over there.

PoliticsRe: President Yar'adua: 12 Years After By Goodluck Jonathan by Raph82(m): 9:25am On May 05, 2022
Ayobiggie59:
Best president so far.
If what is written up there makes him the best president so far, then I think you'll have to redefine the word "BEST". When he took over the mantle of leadership, One of his first actions was the compulsory retirement order he gave to top ranking officers at the Nigerian customs then, which affected the cadre from number two to number seven, most of whom were not from the northern extraction, he then installed the next in rank to number 7 in the cadre to Comptroller General, who is from the northern extraction. As at the time he came in as president, the comptroller general then has completed his tenure and retired. I could remember then that the second in rank to comptroller general was from Osun, they were all retired by force. No matter how good a Fulani president may be, one thing you can't separate from them is tribalism and nepotism. When it comes to power, they don't obey federal character, that word exists only in the dictionary of southerners. Indeed Yaradua tried his best for Nigeria, but his short stay in office did not give him the privilege to showcase what he's up to, in terms of good governance. Since 1999, Nigeria has not really enjoyed good governance for complete 4 years.

Bakary Gassama will surely be there, that man thoroughly understands the art of refreeing with high level of coordination and confidence. His level of awareness and IQ on the pitch is impeccable, and his sense of judgement on the pitch is superb and accurate, with minimal or no officiating error. One of the very best referees we have around now in the world of football.

Sorry about that.

It's a good thing I am learning the cons of these farming business before entering it.
My brother, there's nothing to be sorry about, they are part of the learning curve. I've been a risk taker right from my young age, and I have a strong passion for my field, so I see every bit of failure as a lesson to learn, and not as a failure per se. There are some lessons you learn in the classroom, while you learn some on the field of practice. That's why when I talk, people ask me how I came about such deep knowledge, I tell them my years of experience has been my greatest asset. With time, you too will build such asset. Examining a colonized bee hive and the environment where it is sighted, I can tell you the average litter of honey the hive can give you at harvest, believe you me, that's how you will meet it at harvest. It's not jazz, it's experience.

Sir, I have watched some videos on youtube on bee keeping and they advised not to do bee keeping in a place with Ant hills and termites around as they are natural enemies of bees and the land has so many anthills around even massive ones at that.
You can't use the place for bee keeping, ants, termites, moths and land prone to heavy wind and noise are natural enemies of bees, I have lost some of my most productive colonies to these natural enemiess in the past.

They are already playing the game by encouraging more southerners to show interest in the presidential race to divide the votes that will come from the south. Abokis no get brain, says who?

I understand sir

Most poultry pens for layers have enough ventilations like the open house system and the room and parlour don't have that luxury.

I won't be very much available for it too because I am a student and once the assu strike is called off I won't be available everytime and like you said I am wary of wasting my money and time.

Please can you advise any agricultural farming I could venture in with my situation, I have passion for agricultural and I want to start small now.
That word melts my heart when I hear it from youths with no background in Agriculture. That's the word that keeps me going in my field. You see, passion gets killed by frustration arising from continuous failure in a particular area of endeavour, most especially when you've committed a large chunk of your life savings into it.

This is my candid advice, You can go for crop farming for now, such as cassava farming, it requires less attention from the farmer. You can try out other crops like maize, groundnut, yam.

For animals, your attention is always needed, no matter what. But if you have a small piece of land that you have control over, close to natural vegetation, you can start bee keeping, it requires less attention, highly profitable and very interesting.
