I beg to differ. Of what good will it benefit you and I if Jonathan had manipulated the elections or refused to concede a glaring defeat? Are we disappointed at the gale and compendium of monumental corruption being exposed under his administration? How do we explain the confirmation by most of the key suspects identified so far to receiving untoward illegal sums? One even shamefully declared he was sent on errand by Jonathan with N400m. What I think Jonathan will be saying to himself will be to turn back the hands of time, to enable him make amends. I strongly think he feels screwed by his inglorious time at the Presidency. I doubt he would ever imagine not conceding defeat! 16 Likes 1 Share |

VOICEOFJUSTICE: Lolol. I maintain GEJ was an irresponsible President. The quality of the so called Federal Universities just like the several dilapidated Airports affirm he lacked substance and was full of mediocrity. I applaud Amaechi's efforts in Port Harcourt in deference to Infrastructure. I equally have applauded in previous posts, Wike's efforts to hit the ground running. I am devoid of sentiments. I vehemently condemn the outlook of these buildings; it is my opinion. I strongly respect yours. ![]() |

ogkrakkid: Just as Chukxie and Tevinsolt have concurred, we know what we see. From the carcass, we can decipher. I think the Maritime University deserve better buildings. If you see otherwise, I respect your views. ![]() |

paschu: My judgement is solely based on professionalism. I am an Architect by training. Nothing personal. I attended OAU and understand what a Federal Institution should look like. I am only seeking for a better Nigeria. Will let the insults pass ![]() 1 Like |

dennisworld1: It is not about how a maritime school should look. It is about having buildings befitting a University environment in tandem with the amount disbursed for such purpose. If we cannot replicate the feat of yesteryears seen in old generation Federal Institutions, we should at least have a scaled version of such schools. The design and quality of construction look very shabby and poor. I am sad, because more could have been achieved with the much they must have claimed to have spent. It is high time we clamored for an end to mediocrity in Nigeria. I am a member of the Construction Industry and it feels really sad. 18 Likes 2 Shares |

GodsMercy1: The same quantity of materials that have been used can be expended on a better fit for purpose designed and well constructed set of buildings. Do you really think these designs and construction methods are befitting? I think the Maritime University deserves more. The pain is that the amount appropriated could have built better structures like the first generation Universities. To your question, yes I know what it takes. This is what I do! 18 Likes 1 Share |

Simply inhumane. I hope this is a scene from a Nollywood movie. |

I am short of words. These can never be ascribed as 21st century University buildings. The designs are awkwardly bad and the construction looks very appalling. The buildings look ornamented with mediocrity. I am so so so sad. Do we need to be recolonized again before we can get it right? OAU, UNN, UNILAG, ABU, UNILORIN etc were built decades ago but remain landmarks of Architectural reference. Just like NDU, Amasoma, the structures in the purported NMU look below par. I strongly hope Billions of Naira have not been supposedly spent on these shanty looking buildings. NB: To the topic, Amaechi lied, though the quality of the buildings is poor, the development has gone beyond feasibility studies. 76 Likes 6 Shares |

Sir, Any reasons why the owner is selling? Will love to see the display board with the ignition on, to check if there are any warning symbols or notification of faulty sensors. Thanks. |

Dear Lord, kindly forgive my murmurs. Oh, how sad it is to lose a part of ones body to fighting against people with an irresponsible course. These are good looking men with quite a substantial part taken from them. In all things we must give thanks. I hope the government can arrange for artificial arms and limbs as temporary succor. ![]() ![]() 1 Like |

Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful.... ![]() ![]() ![]() Daddy Jazzy may be a better alternative. He has lost the "Don" effect the moment he decided to go completely social. He lost some respect the moment he replied Olamide on the stage as you posited. Reekado or The Prince should have done the hatchet job. He drained the last bit of the supposed "mafialistic" honor left, the moment he was first to proclaim the end of his rift with Olamide, with no written apologies by Olamide through the same medium he spat the venom. Olamide was still teething when Don Jazzy and his Mohit crew sold out concerts. True to fact, every hard man is only forming. Everyone wants to be in the limelight. everyone wants to be loved. There are few people who retain the "Don" title till death. Nice article. |

Court no fit spell "Vessel" @ first page, no. 3, abi na "printer's devil" or na so d coy take register, Warri Style ![]() To the matter: I do not think Mr Government has any case to answer. He once claimed that the property with the supposed buildings and alleged facilities pre-developed by him were valued by the FG at the time. Hence the amount agreed and paid. If it was over inflated, the problem is with the Valuer and the FG negotiator. Na so we see the heroic efforts of the last administration. ![]() 15 Likes 1 Share |

Very detailed and well written communique. Summary: - If the CBN continues to sell to the BDCs, there will be a strong strain on the foreign reserves - Foreign reserves are dwindling due to low income. - BDCs get the $ at 197 and sell at N250. Excess gain. - BDCs should hustle for $ henceforth. - BDCs should note that BigBrother is watching the hustle process. - CBN will prioritize $ sales for Letters of Credit, import of petroleum products and other key payments - we can now fund our domiciliary accounts directly. Author - the CBN Governor with 9 lives! It is well. How we wan do summer this year sef? 106 Likes 5 Shares |

The nigga looks young, my peer. If only Chioma and co had belle those days, I for don get pikin their age. ![]() He must have had Ebun at a young age. Ebun and Wondergal must be young too. Social media and excessive make-up will not enable us distinguish between emerging women and established women. Everybody looks like an adult these days. I was at a wedding yesterday and it was time for throwing the bouquet, they called out single ladies. The bouquet was eventually caught by a 13 year old; just imagine. It is well with the fighting friends. Maybe Ebun is popsie's babe ![]() 23 Likes 2 Shares |

I recall noticing him 6 years ago. I visited a friend at Chemist area of Akoka. Within one of the crowded streets, two vehicles in opposite directions faced eachother. Then one of the drivers began to hurl insults at the other. The quiet one, opened his door and towered out. As soon as the garrulous driver saw the emerging giant, he cowered and took to his heels. Even though their actions delayed my thorough fare, I laughed my head out that day. The quiet giant on that day is the reference of this topic. Somewhat scary. He should go to hollywood or Ireland, he may find a role in the new season of Game of Thrones ![]() 7 Likes 1 Share |
