CareerRe: I'm An Orator: What Are My Career Chances? by RedCapChief(m): 5:05pm On Nov 29, 2015
I like the comment of SillyeRabbit. You will do well to start that after you have done the following:
1. Broaden your knowledge base! Read local and international history, politics, philosophy and psychology

2. Go and submit yourself for discipleship under Fela Durotoye. Become his servant for free. Every master was once a servant. Fela is the best in that business in Nigeria. The skills and connections you'll gain from him will be invaluable.

Then, you can kick off with writing books and doing what SillyeRabbit has said

[size=13pt]I'm proud of this fellow for three reasons.
First, he has roused our spirits with the motivation we sorely need.
Secondly, he has reminded us that there is still hope for Nigeria, despite the bleak gloomy weather that is gathering.
The third reason is personal to me because I don't want to labelled an ethnic warrior

EducationRe: Public Primary School In Manchester (pix) by RedCapChief(m): 1:04pm On Nov 29, 2015
Truly, even the Nigerian government has given up on public primary schools. That sector is now wholly in the hands of private operators. Public primary schools are now glorified daycare centers where children sing and run around all day onto to eat akara when it is break-time.
Thanks to the poster for sharing these pictures.
When the Minister of Tourism & Loot Recovery comes back from Malta, maybe he'll do something about it

CelebritiesRe: Angry Woman Made D'banj Prostrate Before Her At Enugu Airport by RedCapChief(m):
Who told the poster that the woman that accosted Dbanj was an Igbo woman? Did he see her State of Origin certificate? Just focus on Dbanj's humility and move on.

Why use 'One Igbo Woman' when 'One woman/An elderly woman' will suffice?

EDIT: Besides, Igbos are republican, we don't demand prostrating on the ground for anybody; maybe local royalty, but definitely not anybody

Nigeria is a very difficult place to govern. Somehow, I actually miss good ol' GEJ. Some may pardon an incompetent leader, but nobody will pardon a leader that doesn't exude power.

Scene 1:
GEJ - There is sabotage in the military; that is why we can't defeat Boko Haram
Response: Useless man! Take hold of the military. Cluless fisherman! Drunkard! Go back to Otuoke in 2015

Scene 2:
Buhari - There is sabotage in the power sector. That is why power generation has dropped
Response: zzzzzzzzzzzzzz #NoComment

MrALIVE:
don't know whether to tell you and ur likes to go back to school or is this sheer ignorance! What happened to the aspect of the electoral act that says that votes are for political party not individuals! Pls have sense
Votes are for a party but a candidate has to carry those votes. That is why a party can not change candidates at a whim. This situation is not covered by the Electoral Act because Abubakar Audu was not declared Governor-Elect. The Supreme Court has to interpret this gray area.
N.B: Before telling others to have sense, would you mind considering an attempt to stop reasoning with your buttocks first.
PoliticsRe: Kogi: Buhari Setting Nigeria On Path Of Anarchy – Fayose by RedCapChief(m): 6:40pm On Nov 25, 2015
Unfortunately, Fayose now stands as the only effective voice of the opposition. The rest of the PDP have gone to sleep. The man may be garrulous and eccentric, but you can't deny the valid points he has raised. How can a fresh candidate inherit the votes of a dead candidate without any input from the Supreme Court?

PDP really needs to get its game on lock, otherwise Nigeria is in trouble. I remember ElRufai, Tinubu Fashola, Lai Mohammed and Abike Dabiri seriously tackling GEJ when he was fumbling. Now nobody from PDP get mouth except Fayose and maybe Ben Murray Bruce.. Lai Mohammed has started pocketing all the bloggers in order to control the media. The voice of PDP is going into extinction and we may all be worse for it.

FamilyRe: This Is What My House Help Did To Me by RedCapChief(m):
The girl is clearly mischievious i.e her eye don tear. There is a truth to these house helps - Nobody gives out their best child as a househelp. Many women think they are employing a help when they are really just buying a liability. The mind of a 15yr old is already set. At this point, bastards will remain bastards and they will never be fully integrated into the family. Maybe someone younger who you can mold and who has not been ravaged by the hormonal waves of puberty.

Investigate the family where you are bringing a grown girl from. That the mother of op's house-girl didn't chase the useless girl back tells me something. The apple doesn't fall that far from the tree

Madams have a moral obligation to treat their house-helps well. I cringe when I see some women travel to London every summer with their families, yet the house help wears handmedowns. For many of these girls, this chance at being a house girl is the only way they will ever escape poverty. So, put them in school and get them nice clothes. If you do it well, she will slowly see your child as her responsiblity and will be a big sister.

@op, you did your best, beht bastards will be bastards

and now, an important question
NL women, how much will you pay for a well trained, professional nanny?

Hi @healthgexpert and all
I have no doubts that your intentions are good, but maybe you want to reconsider the ethical implications of prescribing clomiphene on an online forum. Many of these women have non-medical backgrounds and a few may have complex obgyn histories. Clomiphene can be dangerous, even to the point of death, is abused

Two things I pray to God for: 1.) To never have to require emergent medical care in a Nigerian hospital. 2.) To never have any form of contact with the Nigerian police force or Army
Those guys can be absolutely mad, particularly if you jam them early in the morning or late at night. By then, they are high on alcohol or oshogbo weed.
I'm tired of complaining.

@op If you have any details of the police officers that harassed you, then you can file a complaint with the Complaint Response Unit. Their portals are on social media. You can also up the ante with getting a lawyer to write to the DPO or state commissioner
Stay safe.

HealthRe: Trying To Conceive A Child? TTC by RedCapChief(m):
@ayashow. . .You can continue with the supplements. Nothing wrong in that. Most of them are the same, plus or minus one ingredient. Don't except heaven because you are using fertil-this or fertil-that.
Lifestyle modifications are even more important. Alcohol is a no-no. Smoking, passive or active, is not in his interest. Fruits and veggies of all types are helpful. Don't allow the stress to get to you or your hubby. TTC is a not a job where you have a financial target to meet before the end of 2015. Take it easy. Proper coital practices - no spermatotoxic lubricants and alternate day meetup during your mid-cycle. There is stronger medication but discuss that with your obgyn. Maybe, just maybe, you should discuss a varicocoelectomy, particularly for the large one on the right.
Make sure everything is correct on your end. This semen analysis may only be one part of the equation.
Continue to trust God and work with your doctor

@iamhistreasure. . .Results are taken as a whole. Even if your FSH and LH are within the normal range, they don't count for much. Everything but the progesterone level is fair

Cheers!
HealthRe: Trying To Conceive A Child? TTC by RedCapChief(m): 8:45pm On Nov 21, 2015
@iamhistreasure . . .Treating lab results is often not best practice. However, let me share my thoughts.
Was your progesterone assay done halfway through your luteal cycle? If yes, then your values (0.1ng/ml) are very low. Either you are not ovulating or you grossly mistimed your cycle or some other variable is wrong.
Every other test result looks fair enough.
Continue working with your obgyn
Cheers!
HealthRe: Trying To Conceive A Child? TTC by RedCapChief(m): 7:27pm On Nov 21, 2015
@ayashow.
I've already made some comments on concentration values.
Every other thing seems fair except for motility. We usually advocate favourable values as motility greater than 50% in forward progression i.e 50% of the sperm must be able to move forward.
Maybe he should have another done in 2-3 months

This just made me shed a whole lot of tears.i saw my period today which came 4 days late(I tot I was pregnant)with a lot of egg white cervical mucus...seriously I'm too confused an don't know where to start from.gynea is not taking me serious and im down financially to see anoda gynea.im really too sad...dh is very sad
Hi ayashow. You seem to have really gone through a terrible time and I'm sympathetic to your situation. I went through your previous posts to get a hang of your condition and I see you have been ttc for about 3 yrs now. These kinds of consultations are never easy because the human body is very very complex and what works for A may fail for B.

You mentioned that your hubby has an U/S report that indicated a bilateral varicocoele. Today, current medical thinking believes that while varicocoele may play a role in male infertility, having the varicocoele may not improve the chances of conception. Also, his sperm concentration of 15million/ml is a bit borderline. While it takes only one sperm to get a woman pregnant, there is some wisdom in numbers. If you feel comfortable with it, you can share the rest of the details of the semen analysis here as sperm concentration is not the only important factor.

On your part, please note that regular menstrual cycles are not indicative of ovulation. Follicular tracking and a Day 21 progesterone assay are much more sensitive (not perfect ) means of assessing ovulation. Please discuss them with your ob/gyn. I also read that you have watery breast discharge. As a doctor, that is never a good sign for a woman that is not breastfeeding. Have done a prolactin assay? Do you need to reconsider some of your sexual practices? What is your BMI? What other tests have you done?
If it is anovulation, then there is medication for that.

I pray that God will grant you the desires of your heart as children are a gift from the Lord. Be encouraged!
RomanceRe: Nigerian Lady Slams Women Who Won't For Once, Have Sex With A Guy & Tell Him Off by RedCapChief(m): 4:07pm On Nov 21, 2015
Speaking from a realist non-religious cry point of view, she is right. Many women in this part of the world equate sex to love. For many blokes, sex is sex and love is love. No matter how much you cook and clean for him, you'll just be a receptacle for his semen. Never anything more and maybe something less. All that is bangable is not wife-able

That is why I like Caucasian girls; from the outset they will tell you all they want is one night stand. In the morning, they'll make you coffee and toast if they really felt your performance and then kick you out.
