The op's comment was rude and inappropriate. There are better ways of getting your point across than coming off as a discourteous attention-seeker. Even if he is the Senator of your constituency, it still doesn't make it right. You are adding fuel to rhetoric that people called 'Adamu' don't know anything

Ben Bruce even try say na only block im block you. Him for add cement on top

But, there're many other more effective policies they could make. Example; getting Paypal to immediately allow Nigerians get paid with our PayPal account. Everyday Nigerians send millions in foreign currencies via Paypal, but without ability to receive. There're several others of such online payment platforms that could help the CBN rake in millions of dollars into the country, if only they could exploit it.
You are correct. People like you should be on our economic team not the present bunch of clowns. A lot of people send but can't receive money with Paypal.

This Vivianblog or Viviangist, how much is she paying to catapult her posts to FrontPage?

So many people leveraging on Nairaland to expand their business and yet they can't do it properly.

That link on the next post is pretty useless because there isn't any further information on her site, just a photocopy of Ambode's twitter post.
Same old, same old. Blogging is not copy and paste. Do some bloody research

Show me a lady who both has it all and is still greedy and I'd put you on speed dial to viviangist. She seems to have the sticky keys to front page, yet she struggles to also lock down FTC. Once she toggles the 'create topic ' button, its on autopilot to FP. Lindaikeji once enjoyed that privilege, her blog seems to have outgrown NL, shez on to bigger things now. That's not even my ish, my ish is the other kiddos who used to struggle for FTC (hello LadyF et al) have lost their swag. I used to love their competition. grin
Greed is but a word the weak inflict on the ambitious.

But you have a point though, LadyF and her band of merrymen are tired.

BusinessRe: Naira Situation Worsens, Falls To N270/$ by RedCapChief(m):
APC will also blame GEJ for this angry

I remember the words of Rabiu Kwankwaso who described the post-election upturn in stock market and forex market as the benefits of the 'Buhari Effect'. Even Lai Mohammed praised the increased power generation as a blessing from 'Buhari's Body Language'

Unfortunately, even local investors have seen that body language is not a substitute for simple economic policy. The foreign investors have run away since. Six months after inauguration, the only economic news coming from Nigeria is . .'MTN gets fined' . .'Guinness gets fined' . . .'EFCC arrests Dasuki' e.t.c
Baba is the everything and we must go at his pace

PDP were a bunch of rogues but this ineptitude and foolery from APC is too much. After desiring a post for 12years, he seems determined to collect the title of 'Captain Clueless' from a former somebody smiley

Keep blaming Jona oo! Mr. Lai will soon release statement blaming Jona and Patience for this
PoliticsRe: BREAKING: Dokpesi Released From Kuje Prison by RedCapChief(m): 8:44pm On Dec 16, 2015
Big Men in Nigeria always meet bail. They have a network of connections that transcend party or tribal affairs - unlike the ethnic bashers on NL. 400million is a small matter and a lot of stuff goes on behind the curtain.

Dokpesi may go to jail for a few years but he'll never be poor in this lifetime. Same goes for Ibori who is controlling a dynasty from prison. Dasuki's case is even better, he is a prince of the Caliphate. All this is just entertainment to keep the masses happy

I can't say what Dudafa did or did not do. The lesson is: Gossip Sells

All this Linda wahala will only make Ms. Ikeji more popular, bringing more traffic to her blog and bigger revenue. That is the currency of the internet: traffic. Everybody is talking about Linda this night.

Kemi Olunloyo wants to chop her own piece of the internet traffic. She is always saying something scandalous. She even thinks she is one of the top bloggers in Nigeria. Chai! Delusions!

PoliticsRe: Social Media Bill Must Be Passed – Davido by RedCapChief(m): 9:49pm On Dec 14, 2015
This Davido thinks like a mentally handicapped person. NB: This is my personal opinion which I'm entitled to.

I respect him for his achievements but he needs to stay in his lane. If his character is defamed on social media, he can always seek redress via the legal route. A lot of bloggers have been taken to court for similar matters. This social media bill is something else entirely and needs serious revision. I bet you he hasn't even seen the controversial areas of the bill

Davido should stick to making music and making babies with women who are not married to him

PoliticsRe: Arms Deal: I Got N100m From Mu’azu, Not Yuguda – Nwobodo by RedCapChief(m):
As a zonal coordinator, Mr. Nwobodo should have every right to collect money from his party chairman. After all, even SouthWest APC zone spent more than that during elections. His argument makes sense.
Everybody has forgotten the 53 billion naira that Wike accused Amaechi of collecting to run Buhari's campaign or the hundreds of millions Jagaban gave to Oba Akiolu
This country sef angry It is this constant vilification of PDP that makes APC act like saints. PDP were a band or rogues we can't claim they stole all the money they used for electioneering.
We deserve the leaders we get

If Mr. Ogundamisi has proper information that he wants to share, let him put it in the public domain. Casting aspersions on Linda is just childish and attention-seeking.
That is what this era has given us - accusations, accusations and accusations
She has denied collecting 240million, so what happens now? We will wait for the next rumour that will distract us from the terrible state of our economy.
Besides, Linda pulls in a ton of money from that blog. She would be justified if she charged them 240 million naira

Hate him or love him, you can't but admire the political career of this man. From being a 'charge and bail' lawyer hustling in Lagos, he grew into a governor and now the Senate Minority leader in his first tenure. He has the gift of the gab and is bit of a maverick. I think we should watch out for him.

I recently learned he wasn't so fantastic academically when he was in Law School grin

PoliticsRe: What Do You Think About My Boss' Parable? by RedCapChief(m): 11:00pm On Dec 11, 2015
I'm also not a fan of President Buhari, but he is our head and he can't afford to fail. I feel he is taking this loot recovery program to the extreme. This is something that should run in the background. His priorities should be the economy and security; nothing else matters. Already companies are downsizing and salaries are being slashed. The spending power of the average Nigerian is crashing to the pavement
Unfortunately, the governed are too illiterate or sentimental to see this. If you complain, you are branded a wailer
They are itching for big time convictions so that they gloat and cackle. Well, Buhari is going to deliver that angry

Gaborone, I am officially stealing this parable
BusinessRe: Naira Finally Crashes To 260 Per Dollar, Its Lowest In 42 Years by RedCapChief(m): 10:14pm On Dec 11, 2015
Buhari is technically the Minister of Finance. Emefiele and Kemi Adeosun are just mirroring Buhari's body language. They both deserve to be sacked for taking our economy to the dustbin. They are so many competent first-class economists who can lead us through these times but Baba had to settle for a graduate of University of East London - a mid tier institution - who doesn't even have a Masters degree. IMHO she is bigger than the post.

I want to know who is advising Buhari at this point. This is not the first time the naira has fallen but yet our currency is turning to chaff

All he seems to care about is chasing Dasuki and Dokpesi, completely clueless on economics
RomanceRe: Nice Guys' Becoming Players After A Relationship Breakdown? by RedCapChief(m): 11:43pm On Dec 08, 2015

I think kilokeys answered it well

Unfortunately, women are not men with breasts and vaginas. They are a totally different subspecies. They naturally crave drama. When you give a woman everything, she will wonder whether the guy is too good to be true and she will conclude that he probably is. Too perfect! Giving her all your time and stuff makes her into a god that you worship. She knows she is imperfect and begins to wonder why this guy is worshiping her and being so nice.

Naturally then, she will crave something else, maybe some bad guy cheesy who will treat her like the imperfect thot that she is. Not some dry guy who will reply all her pings on time. That is when she will ask for "some space."

Finally, after satisfying her need to go on an emotional roller coaster, she realises what a clown she had been
Every dude deserves to be a player, even if on part-time basis.

Take Home Point: Women Hate Men Who Are Too Perfect!!

No wonder you guys are called Wailers. Were your state governors not receiving their own share of the national cake?
michaelala:
U

Even you know that you are not saying the truth, it's so funny how you guys complain about everything that is not business as usual for you.
You guys have thriving businesses all over the country because you are always welcomed every where, but how many other tribes have thriving businesses in your own region.
How many other tribes have built homes on your lands without harassment, how many non Igbo have you employed in your government offices.
Yet you complain. Always complaining.
I believe that if you are really ready to 'go' you should just do the following simple things.
1. Stop receiving federal allocation from Nigeria
2. Close down all your businesses all over the Country so that you can rundown the economy
3. Stop traveling with the Nigerian passport
4. Recall all legislators from your region and let them stop helping us rule Nigeria.

You can't eat your cake and have it. You cant be enjoying the common wealth of Nigeria and be clam outing for Biafra.

If your governors can build your stated to compete with countries like The UAE, or SA to start with, then I'll understand that the country is too backward for you.

Even if you are granted Biafra, are you sure, that leadership tussles with follow, more people dies!
Have a rethink about all these, before it turns to gene ode&
Your comments are so cynical that I have no inclination to dignify you with an answer but I'll indulge for the sake of discussion. When the Scottish wanted to leave the United Kingdom. Did they
-Stop travelling with the British passport?
-Recall all legislators from Westminister?
-Stop receiving allocations?
-Close down all businesses outside Scotland?
They went about it peacefully and everybody was happy.
Do you think the development in Lagos is as a result of state allocations? The groundwork (airports, seaports, and massive bridges) were all federal projects. Even Aregbesola has stated that those allocations even can't pay salaries.
Just think for a bit about the fact that the entire zone has had the least federal intervention since the end of the civil war. Just think!!
Maybe if we had more FG assistance, we would stay in our areas like everybody wants us to do

Where is your Governors,Lagos was not develop NY Federal, the state rise up to the occasion, go to Abeokuta and see what the state is doing . Your Albino governor kept on embezzlement on and on..Meanwhile where were you people when GEJ was at head ?
TheGoodJoe:
What I do not understand is, do the governors in the South East regions not get Allocations? The development in Rivers, Akwa Ibom, Cross River and some areas in North has to do with the Governors of the state Working hard to make lives better for their people.

The people of the South East should protest massively against the corrupt politicians in their midst. People who can lead the states to greatness should be at the fore front of the match.

Elect the right leaders and let them Channel the allocations into making the South East better.

Yes, you both have some points and I agree we have not had the best of local leaders
However, I'm talking of Federal Government intervention
After the war, there was massive reconstruction. National Theatre, 3rd Mainland Bridge et al. These were not state projects but projects funded at the federal level. What was done in the SE? Nothing. Infact, the blown-up Niger Bridge was repaired just because other regions of Nigeria would suffer. All that we received were 20 GBP each regardless of the millions you had pre-war.
The SE zone (despite major hubs of trade - Aba, Onitsha) only recently got an international airport. 2nd Niger Bridge was commissioned by GEJ after over 30 years of begging. The seaport we were promised has entered voicemail.

IPOB Don't want war yet they are instigating for it. What's the difference of not wanting to fight yet you go about looking for trouble. Blocking onitsha head bridge and stranding commuters makes what difference towards the release of Nnamdi kanu? Do you guys know the danger of blocking Onitsha head bridge, if not anything the bridge might collapse due to the structural decay. Sometimes I wonder whether IPOB folks reason with their Anus. Until the Federal government declares state of emergency that's when una eyes go clear.
My brother, IPOB has not declared any war. If they do, you will see it. The rocket launchers, grenades and blown-up buildings will be a clear sign. Does anybody need to tell you that Boko Haram has declared war on Nigeria?
I'm against causing havoc to stranded commuters but the FG has refused to turn its head, talk less of listen.
NLC strikes devastate the Nigerian economy, but I understand the purpose
IPOB's blocking of the bridge was distressing, but I understand the purpose

For me, the diverse shades of history disclosed by this thread is indicative of the need for the UN to clarify the status of the people groups in the region before throwing its weight behind the inalienable rights of the Igbo to self-determination.
I may sound unpopular but methinks the best option for the Igbo is not Biafra but reentrance. Reentrance into Nigeria by way of reorienting the next generation of Igbos.
That's true but how do you re-enter a place where you are not wanted

That is not what I mean and I think you blew it out of proportion Marriage is a not a 50/50 where husband and wife battle for who will be in charge depending on who the smarter person in the room is. It is one boat and there is only one captain. Now the captain has the duty to treat his First Mate like an equal because she is an important member of the ship. The problem starts when the First Mate starts acting like the Captain.

People think IPOB wants war. That is not true. Nobody sane ever wants war. War kills children and destroys livelihoods. Just ask those in IDP camps.
All they want is a chance to be heard. Just one freaking chance! One of the numerous emissaries sent to beg BH should come and hear them out

Gowon promised Nigeria will develop as a whole after 1970. However, this development started in Lagos, moved upwards, vanished towards Niger Bridge and then re-appeared up North.

The assumption that smart women stay single for relatively longer periods is a myth. But every myth was birthed on the altar of an existing reality.
In nature, the smartest member of the group leads the pack. However, cultural expectations demand that a man lead the relationship. That is why it is the man who does the toasting, proposing and even impregnating cheesy
When a woman flaunts her intellect ,wealth e.t.c in the face of the man, there is a disconnect. Men are sensitive creatures with easily bruised egos and naturally want to run the show
oyeezah:
True. dis is because most men feel intimidated by a woman who's got brains
Men are not intimidated by a woman with brains; i think we are intimidated by a woman who will rub her intelligence in our face The perfect woman will be the one who is smart enough to let the man take the lead

My uncle often praised Dora Akunyili to high heavens. Why? For all her achievement and intellect, she left it by the door when she came home every day. Same goes for Chimamanda Adichie who preaches feminism to every John and Jack, but still understands the rules of engagement of the home. Those are true smart women and any man would be a fool to lose them
