I agree with the poster that Customer Service in Nigerian businesses is nothing to write home about. It is very disheartening that in a country of 99.9 % black people, we still don't know how to treat each other with respect. Many Nigerians have a negative approach to life. Just look at the example of our eateries. I once went with my friends to a popular fast food joint in Ikeja [ GRA ] and I was not happy with the way the attendants treated us. They were behaving as if we were a problem to them. They were not enthusiastic about the work they were doing. I don't know why one of them was even angry in the first place. Is it too much for us to ask for the reheating of one of the plates of Fried rice we ordered? Na wa o. Are we not going to pay our hard earned money for the eatery's services? Nigerians must realize that no job is too small for them to do. They must not think that any job is beneath them. One of the reasons why workers treat customers badly is because they feel they are bigger than their jobs. They have not realized that life is in stages. Some of the richest men in the world today did odd jobs that can not be mentioned on this forum. However, I would like to state here that bad customer service should not be limited to Nigeria alone. The shit happens in Europe too. Though in Europe, especially Western Europe, you have the right to complain and the right to be compensated. Nigerians must start to take their service providers up if they are not happy with how they are treated. Enough is Enough. This our passiveness with those that we give our money to must stop. It is also time for us to start gauging the performance of our leaders openly. The current economic recession has shown that nothing is secure in this world. Nigeria needs to develop and change must come upon our land. The time to act is now. |
I won't be surprised if the match ends in a goalless draw. We are not inviting the right players to the Super Eagles squad. I don't see Mozambique beating Nigeria but I feel the current Eagles squad has a lot of defects. Amodu Shuaibu is also not technically up to the task. He has not done some things I thought he would do as soon as he was made coach of the national team. Tunisia has stated well and I feel the descendants of Hannibal will give us a deadly run for the ticket to SA 2010. Something needs to be done urgently by nthe NFF and well meaning Nigerians before the bubble bursts. I wish Nigeria well. It would be very bad for Nigerian soccer if we miss the next world cup. |
@ Poster I will advice you to go through the NYSC program in Nigeria. I hope you'll be eligible to participate in the scheme. Having lived in Canada, I know it will be tough for you to consider living in a country where only a few people think positively. Canada is by far advanced than Nigeria but I think it is worthwhile serving in your original country. I am someone that believes the NYSC scheme needs a detailed surgical operation. I have written an open letter to President Yar'Adua about the problems of the NYSC and how they can be resolved. The letter was published in two Nigerian newspapers. Some changes have been made to the scheme since then. Don't be afraid of the service year. If you're someone with a good business sense, this might be the opportunity for you look at a service you can provide for Nigerians. Open your eyes well and do some research in and about the place you serve. The painful thing is that most corpers go through the service year without really discovering the opportunities that lie around the state they served in. Then they come rushing back to Lagos after the service year to look for jobs. May the good lord give current and fresh corpers wisdom. I know of a young man who served in Benue State. During his service year, he met a Tiv woman who was breeding Turkeys. This woman had developed a strong Turkey Hybrid by mating Local turkeys with a foreign breed. The offspring of this experiment was so good for the table and she made good money every week. The corper learnt the tricks of raising turkeys from the woman and after the service year, he started his Turkey farm on a small plot of land. The rest of the story is history. The guy is rich today. Another guy who had a writing talent started a community newspaper in Yobe or is it Adamawa State. Today, the paper has grown and he sells thousands of copies weekly. He is now living in the northern state and has refused to come to Lagos. He is married now and the people of the state [ though they are moslems ] enjoy the stories in the newspaper. What I am saying is this: A gifted person will always be a winner anywhere he is in the world. So my friend, make the best use of your talents while serving. Come and serve if you're eligible. Your pot of gold might be awaiting you in Nigeria. Cheers. |
@ PapaBrowne Thanks for the encouragement. I believe Nigeria will become a country to reckon with if we all join hands together to make the country great. I got a phonecall from Nigeria this money from a childhood friend. My friend was born in Britain and he's british with a British Passport. However, he spent his childhood years in Nigeria. He's currently in Nigeria due to his mother's death but I want to let you into this secret. My friend is considering settling down in Nigeria. He told me Lagos State has changed and that Governor Fashola is doing a good job. My friend is seeing a lot of good business opportunities around him. I believe my friend concerning his positive comments about Lagos State. He told me he has been going all about Lagos to see things for himself. I told him about the current electricity story about Ilorin and how Kwara State Residents are enjoying about 16-20 hours of Light everyday. The change Nigeria needs has started. People are coming up with a lot of ideas now. Nigerians are returning home in trickles for now, but soon, the trickles will turn to avanlanches. We are the ones that will build a New Nigeria. No one will do it for us. The elections in 2011 will throw up more progressive minded candidates who want to change things. The PDP will eventually be dethroned as Nigeria's leading party because smaller parties will start winning Local Government and councillorship positions. Let us forget about OBJ and start doing something about the development of Nigeria. I want to openly thank Seun Osewa for creating Nairaland and Nairalist. He is one of the heroes of the efforts made to develop Nigeria. Thanks a lot, Seun. God bless you. |
This is a very interesting thread. Obasanjo was not a good president. Though he did some good things while in power, he was an absolute dictator just like the late Gen Sani Abacha. Nigeria did not change much under Olusegun Obasanjo. While Uncle Sege was in Power, a lot of corruption was going on in the country's various states. Electricity was epileptic and the Universities were in a poor shape. I don't want to bore you with the pisitives and negatives of his tenure as Nigeria's president. To me, OBJ did not do well. However, I believe OBJ is a product of the Nigerian way of doing things. He is a product of our environment where hardwork and excellence are not appreciated. If we want Nigeria to change, then we need to start celebrating hardworking people openly. We need to do away with our cuture of envy and jealousy directed at those who are better than us. I am still surprised that one of our young girls who made it to NASA in the USA for a SPACE simulation program was not celebrated in the country's Media. This girl who schooled in a local secondary school in Benue State represented Africa at the event, and was not on the cover page of any of our newspapers on magazines. Meanwhile, magazines like TELL, The News, Newswatch etc were busy putting corrupt personalities and scandalous incidents on their front pages. This reflects the state of the Nigerian Media. I also think Nigerians need to start creating support organizations and charities to tackle poverty, joblessness and illiteracy. Change must start with we Nigerians ourselves. It is not enough for us to keep blaming our leaders while we sit back and do nothing. How many of us actually care about the behaviour of teenagers in our places of worship or in our respective communities? And what are we doing about it? How many of us have bothered to know how the primary schools and secondary schools we attended way back are faring? Have we even bothered to donate some gallons of paint to make sure the schools or classrooms are repainted? Yet some of us complain about the dilapidated condition of our former schools. We need to realize that we are all leaders in our different spheres of influence. And one day we will all be accountable before God. One thing I know is that Nigeria can change if we start being concerned about our immediate environment and start doing small things to bring about the much needed development. We should not wait for the government to do everything. In Britain, charities are working hand in hand with the government to battle poverty, cancer, illiteracy, Wife battering, homelessness etc etc. Many Nigerians are arm chair critics. Let us get involved in the development of our country. I have started doing something to help Nigeria develop. Start something too. The Nigerian Government is even waiting for ideas from us all. I wish Nigeria well. Cheers. |
I am not happy about the robberies in Ibadan. This is a city I am planning to settle down in. I have always wanted to live in Ibadan because of my business plans. I wanted to avoid the chaotic nature of Lagos and get cheaper housing in the ancient city. With this recent turn of events, I have started considering new options. I might just choose Ilorin or Akure. I believe Lagos is not the only place to operate from as an entrepreneur. Cheers. |
Hmn, Kwara State is really baring its teeth o. I am impressed by the Youtube videos on the projects in Kwara State. I have only been to the state once and I spent about 4 days there. It is a generally peaceful state. Like I said before, change is coming to Nigeria. We need more Governors like Bukola Saraki and Fashola of Lagos State. However, the Governors need to work on the railways and also seek to make a direct impact on the citizens. I mean they should look into the creation of jobs by building industries where the natural resources of their states can be processed into finished products e.g turning millet into a packed cereal drink or making soap for export. It is clear that people need jobs in Nigeria. So some effort should be put into job creation. Cheers. |
wow, I don't know what to say. There is so much positive news coming out of Nigeria these days. So Kwara State is making a u-turn from the negativity that has characterised my country? This is good news. The destiny of Nigeria lies in our hands. We are the ones that will turn this country around. No one will help us do it o For those of us in the diaspora, it is time for us to start thinking of how to invest in Nigeria. The change we need in Nigeria has gradually started. God is alive. Our prayers are being answered one by one. As soon as we get rid of this Yar'Adua, the development will hasten up. We need parties like the Labour and Justice party to make their brand stronger. They should start winning councillorship and Local Government Chairman posts from the next elections. Governor Saraki, God Bless you. Nigeria will achieve her manifest destiny. |
Good news again from my man, Governor Fashola. Many Nigerians in the diaspora are waiting for Lagos State to have electricity supply 24-7. I can't wait for Fashola to get this power project rolling. I've got a lot of plans for youths in Nigeria. This is really good news. My father and Governor Fashola were close back in the days. Nigeria needs to solve the electricity problem and fix the moribund railways. Then development will come to Nigeria. Cheers. |
I wish Seun and Nairaland well. I'm also happy about his new community site- www.nairalist.com Seun Osewa is really making me think that good things can come out of Nigeria. This is a young man that is based in Ota, Ogun State, and he's doing pretty well for himself. With the way he is going, we will start seeing him in Newspapers and Magazines. I have this deep belief that if creative Nigerians who are abroad can return home [ not minding the absence of basic infrastructure ], they can really contribute to Nigeria's development. Seun, well done and you're a hero. Nairaland is just like Gumtree.com in London. I must confess that Tosyn Bucknor is attractive and intelligent, Black is beautiful. Cheers. |
This is good news. Finally, the inept Ladan Bosso has been shown the door. Why did it take the NFA so long to relieve Bosso of his duties? Too much politicking is going on at the Glass House. I believe Siasia will do well as coach of the Flying Eagles to Egypt 2009. However, he has a difficult mission in his hands. The battle in Egypt will be fierce and he needs passionate players to get the job done. As soon as he gets announced as the u-20 coach officially, he needs to get down to work. Siasia has to perform a deep surgery on the squad. Some of the players need to be dropped and replaced with guys that are hungry for success. This is the time for Siasia to finally win the u-20 World Cup for Nigeria. We are tired of Silver medals. I know Siasia will motivate the boys and drum into their heads, the need to play well and score goals. There is not much time left for him. Gladiator like teams like Argentina, Brazil, Portugal and Spain will be coming to Egypt with skillful and experienced players, some of whom are playing for top clubs in Europe. Samson Siasia has a lot of work to do o. He needs to get down to business as soon as possible. Some dynamic players have to be brought into the team. He also needs to pray hard because Nigerians might not forgive him if he fails in Egypt. Ha, uneasy lies the head that wears the crown. Cheers |
I love using Skin Milk body lotion. It makes my skin glow. I also love Cocoa Butter. It is a classic cream. I grew up using vaseline though. |
Ojo What? Please lets talk about other things and current issues affecting Nigeria. I would never vote for Ojo Madueke. I am already beginning to have an headache on coming across this thread. God help us. |
@ fadajasi I believe Nigeria has a higher pedigree than the Republic of Ireland when it comes to football. Ireland may have been playing football a long time before Nigeria started, but the Irish have not achieved much. Nigeria produces a lot of good players yearly. I would even prefer it if Samson Siasia's Olympic team to Beijing play the Irish National team. I know Siasia's boys will defeat Ireland. Nigeria has players like Osaze Odemwingie, Chinedu Ogbuke, Obinna Nsofor, Victor Anichebe, Yusuf Ayila, etc. The bitter truth is that if Siasia gets to handle Late Coach Tella's boys [u-20 ] , they will change their mentalty and become solid players who play with a passion. It is clear that Siasia is the future coach of the Super Eagles. Nigeria needs to start playing countries like Croatia, Czech Republic, Russia, Paraguay, Poland etc. That is if we can't play the top teams like Brazil, Spain, Argentina, Holland, Italy, France, Portugal etc etc. Let us do things with seriousness. Over to the Glass House. I rest my case. |
Na wa o. The battle of intelligence between Talksmith and Debosky is too much. I am enjoying this thread o. I believe some foreign investors who are on Nairaland [ They are registered Nairaland Members who have plans for Nigeria ] are also following the thread. One smart American Fat Cat in New York might be following this thread on his sony vaio laptop. What Seun has started, let no man put asunder. As for me, I don't care whether the Federal Government removes the subsidy on petrol or not. All I want to see is that Nigeria starts developing quickly. Nigeria needs to develop in a jiffy. If the removal of the subsidy will hasten the growth of the economy, so be it. If this current action will make more Nigerians poorer, then I won't support it. Nigeria is lagging behind and I don't like it. Anyway, I hope Yar'Adua will pump the money saved into massive education for the many illiterates that dot the landscape of the country. Illiteracy is a big impediment to Nigeria's economic growth. Cheers. |
Hey, oath taking is a serious issue. It is not physical and there are severe penalties for breaking oaths. Don't take oaths, please. Many lives have been ruined due to people taking oaths in Relationships. If the love a man and a woman have for each other is true and strong, they don't need to take oaths. True love stands the test of time and trials cannot overcome genuine love. The problem with relationships today is that love has been watered down due to materialism. If you truly love a person, you will not put him or her in chains. You will want him or her to be free. If the person leaves you for another man or woman, that person is not meant for you. Let the person go. If you force the person to stay with oaths, you will regret your decision later on. Though we get hurt and jilted in relationships, we always get the person that is meant for us if we learn from our past mistakes. Cheers. |
I still don't believe in hiring househelps. The Governments of the Republic of Benin and Togo are against the trafficking of their young ones to Nigeria and other West African Countries for domestic work. They have intensified their border patrols and are stopping and searching vehicles systematically. Once a vehicle is suspected of shipping youngsters to Nigeria, the vehicle is stopped, searched and the kids are sent back to their parents. The driver of the bus or truck is arrested and detained for questioning. It would be better if agencies are set up and matured people are trained as cleaners and domestic workers. They can then be hired out to Nigerian homes and companies who need their services. This is another opportunity to create some form of employment for thousands of uneducated Nigerians. I believe the young ones should be allowed to go to school. Cheers |
@ fadajasi apart from Robbie Keane , Damien Duff and one or two other players, who are the other good ballers that Ireland can boast of? What is the football pedigree of the Republic of Ireland? How many FIFA Junior or Senior Competitions has the Rep of Ireland won? I don't even know if the Irish have a female national soccer team ![]() Lets call a spade a spade. We beat Ireland the last time we played them. Remember when Obafemi Martins singlehandedly destroyed the Irish opposition in a match played in Britain some years ago? We need to play stronger teams so that we can discover our deficiencies. Cheers. |
@YD I believe NDM will succeed and I am happy to be part of the movement. I also wish Seun Osewa well. That is why I want Nairaland to increase in memebership. And it will. I am a very resourceful young man and I am happy when I see my contemporaries doing great things. I wish you well too. Cheers. |
@ omar 22 I agree with you. It is a shame that the Eagles are playing the Irish Republic again. Very soon, the NFF will line up friendlies with countries like Bahrain, Tuvalu, Comoros Islands and all their likes. Na Wah O!!! |
@ Big Chubby You sound like an expatriate. Though I don't subscribe to hiring househelps, if you're going to treat the house boy or house girl you employ well, I won't have anything against you. Since you're single, I will advice you to go for a boy of around 18-20 years. Don't go for a girl. I know what could happen. You might be tempted to '' sample '' her. The boy will be better as you could become friendly with him, and he will be able to assist you settle down in Nigeria quickly. Try and take care of the boy. Get him enrolled in school or to learn a trade somewhere. Keep him busy so that the Devil will not enlist him in his growing Army. Cheers. |
We will keep playing all these low rated teams until we sort out the problems bedevilling Nigerian football. For example, why is it taking the NFF so long to appoint a new coach for the U-21 team? We all know Ladan Bosso is not a good coach. We all knew how he fumbled in Canada 2007. Yet, I am hearing hearing rumours that he might not be sacked after his recent bad performances. Those at the Glass House do not know how to organize top soccer friendlies. Those that can make the Super Eagles play against teams like Argentina or Spain are not part of the current NFF. Guys like Kojo Williams, Segun Odegbami, Uche Okafor [ USA 94 hero. He's also very influential ] etc etc. Sincerely, playing against the Republic of Ireland is absolute bollocks !!! ![]() The Republic of Ireland is known for sending Catholic priests all over the world than for playing football. Cheers. |
I don't believe i'm an hypocrite if I refuse to hire house helps. Though I grew up with them being around me, as soon as I clocked 9 years, I started doing things myself. I refused to let the house helps wash my clothes or do other things for me. Today, I'm better for it. The truth is some people today do not have a good work ethic because they depended on house helps to do things for them in their formative years. The solution to the house help menace in Nigeria is for industrious individuals, to open up Agencies that will supply ' busy' couples and families with trained and vetted househelps who will not neccessarily live with their employers. They will be paid weekly or monthly through these Agencies. House helps have caused a lot of damage to Nigerian families in the past. Some brought in Armed Robbers, some stole their employer's property, others came with spiritual problems etc etc As for me, I believe couples should create the time to do their chores. And when the wife is pregnant, her sister or other family members can come and help out. Cheers. |
@ Seun I still don't understand why the NFF continues to recycle the teams we play. The same old teams- Jamaica, Rep of Ireland, Ghana, Squirrels Of Benin Republic etc etc. The Colombia match was the only exception. The Super Eagles need to play against formidable opponents like Spain, Germany, England, Argentina, Croatia or the Czech Republic. These quality squads will expose our team's deficiencies. Na wa for out soccer authorities o. There seems to be a lack of ideas at the Glass House. Only if the right people were there. |
Mates, I don't believe in the House Girl and House Boy Phenomenon. To me , it is modern day slavery. I agree with Hauwa that those who make use of House boys and House Girls should be ashamed of themselves. I have seen how many of these kids were treated in the past in Nigeria. My parents employed housemaids when I was growing up in Lagos. Two of them turned out to be witches and they actually confessed when they were found out. Though my father didi not have any problem with this maids, my mother always had grudges and issues with them. She used harsh words on them and sometimes beat them up Though some of the maids were lazy, a good number of them were hardworking. Yet my mum always said they were not working hard enough. Maybe it is the female 2 female thing sha, I can't say. My aunt in Ibadan also had a hardworking girl called Mary. The girl was generally good and up to the task, yet my Aunt had issues with her. There was one day that the Togolese girl went to buy some food stuff at the market. She was about 25 yrs then. She came back after an hour or two. My Aunt leapt on her and accused her of having lovers in town. I found my aunt's behaviour so strange. Anyway that's that. Generally, house helps have not fared well in Nigeria. Couples should learn to do some of the chores themselves. Another idea could be the use of Housekeepers or Cleaners who would come and do the chores daily or weekly, but would not live with their employers. They would just get the job done and go away. House Boy or House Girl? I don't support any. Cheers. |
@ YD It is easy for you to join the NDM. Send an application to: ndmnigeria@gmail.com also visit www.ndm..com You'll get all the directions you need there. Try and spread the word to your peeps and family all over the world. I am also waiting to see when Nairaland will have 1 million members. The day will come. Amen. |
Hmnn, very interesting thread. Everyone has reasons for staying in Nigeria or moving abroad. No one should be criticised for travelling to the UK, USA, Canada or other countries in Europe. I have seen people that went to Western countries on Visit visas and today, they are citizens of those countries. I have also seen Nigerians with work permits in the UK who have achieved nothing after so many years here. There is a place for everybody under the sun. Europe might be tough to live in but the hardworking and God fearing immigrants will always make it. Many Nigerians in Europe are very dubious in nature. Some of them do not wish their siblings well and bad belle is prominent in their dictionary. There was a young man who came to an European country on a visit visa. Since he was not permitted to work, he had to use his brother's documents to work. His brother was already a citizen of that country. What happened was that James did not wish his younger brother well. Peter happened to be very intelligent and hardworking. He had a talent for repairing electronic products. Peter got a job in a factory where he picked and packed gifts. The painful and shocking thing was that James was spending Peter's earnings, since his brother's wages was paid into his bank account. He would only give Peter some pittance out of his weekly wages. Peter was working like an elephant and eating like a ant. Peter suffered for about 8 months until he decided to do something about his situation. He complained to an asian colleague at work who felt for him. The asian lady took him to a social worker who was shocked to hear his story. The social worker took up his case and contacted a lawyer who was good at fighting for Immigrants. The Lawyer did not care if Peter was an illegal immigrant. He handled the case Pro Bono. The social worker and the Lawyer took the case to court. Peter's brother was summoned to appear before the Magistrates in the court in the European country's capital. The jury was deeply moved by Peter's testimony. Do you know what happened? James was convicted of treating his brother badly and spending his money. Though the country's government knew Peter was working illegally with his brother's documents, they did not deport him. He was given refugee status, and when they discovered that he had outstanding technical abilities, they gave him permanent residence status. They got him accomodation and moved him to one of the country's technical institutes. He was paid to teach white youngsters there. James, the greedy and wicked brother, was jailed for 3 years. What I want to say is this- God is in charge of your destiny no matter the country you live in. No matter your status in that country. Talented people will always dine with kings. I know of a Nigerian in London who does not have documents to work, but he's making money online as a writer. He is good at blogging. He has two online blogging jobs and he's able to pay for his room and send money home. Nigerians need to understand that that the white man appreciates hardwork and geniuses. I will not advice anyone not to leave Nigeria. Just know what you're doing and be focused anywhere you are. The favour of God is important than trying to do things by yourself. I will aslo advice Nigerians who want to return home to look for businesses they can engage in rather than applying for jobs in our motherland. All the years you've spent in Europe and America should have been used to study how they run their businesses here. Cheers. |
Look Guys, Samson Siasia is the man that should lead us to South Africa 2010. He is the only Nigerian coach with a website- www.siaone.com He is also the best Nigerian coach at the moment. He has taken the pains to get coaching certificates and constantly updates himself on the modern rudiments of the game. He is technically and tactically better than Amodu Shuaibu. Amodu did not play for the Super Eagles as a footballer. Samson Siasia was outstanding for the Flying Eagles and the Super Eagles. Siasia knows how to turn average players into world beaters. He knows how to get the best out of his players. His Holland 2005 Squad and his Beijing Olympics Squad Played like brave Gladiators. They gave their all and almost clinched the gold medal on two occasions. Samson Siasia is the man for the job. Without Mikel Obi and Taiye Taiwo, he still got a silver medal in China. His boys did not lose to Argentina in the final match, they lost to that brilliant player called Lionel Messi. IF ONLY OGBUKE HAD PLAYED IN THAT FINAL MATCH!! The argentines were glad he did not play. Samson Siasia does not believe in using tired legs. He is like Clemens Westerhof who loves discovering new soccer talent. Siasia also knows how to use players positively. Look at how he used Victor Anichebe and Ajilore in Beijing. His popularity did not come cheap. He worked hard for it. NFF, Please do the right thing by making Sisia the coach of the Super Eagles. Amodu is not bad, but he can't lead us to the World Cup. He is not techically sound for that yet. I wonder what would happen if Nigeria was to play Spain tomorrow. Our deficiencies will be exposed straight away. Lets do the right thing now and give Samson Sisaia the chance to do his thing again. |
Ok mates, I have just registered for consideration as a member of the Nigerian Development Movement [ NDM ]. I want to plead with Nairaland Moderators that this thread should be put on the first page of Nairaland. I have directed a lot of my family members and friends who are Nigerians to the NDM site and Nairaland. My prayer is that this movement will not die out. It is a solid idea that can change Nigeria for good. I have some suggestions for the organisers of the NDM- 1. NDM memebers should start meeting face2face. Online activities should lead to physical meetings as soon as possible. 2. NDM members in Nigeria should start doing individual low key campaigns by telling members of their family about the movement and its objectives. Those who can afford it can print flyers and leaflets and distribute in their churches and social clubs. 3. 2011 is around the corner. We need to start laying concrete plans for the elections in about two years time. The corrupt piliticians have started buying armoured vehicles and are currently arming their private armies for 2011. We need to start having serious meetings and campaigns as a soon as possible. 4. The NDM should not act like a secret organization. We need to have leaders who will talk to the Nigerian Media and willing to be interviewed in The Print Media and on Television. 5. I see this movement becoming very strong as the days go by. There will be attempts to hijack the NDM by undesirable characters who might be on the payroll of our oppressors. The organizers of this movement should be careful. They must remain true to their original ideals. They must also not be corrupt. Corruption and lack of set objectives could kill this vision which I believe was given by God. 6. A good logo should be created for this Movement. It should be a logo that is catchy and that has a deep meaning. Let the graphic designers among us come up with logo ideas. 7. Selfish motives need to be cast aside if we want to get anywhere. I am glad to be a member of this movement. and I don't want to see this dream die. Honourable members of the Press like Reuben Abati, Louis Odion, Nosa Igiebor, Yemi Adebisi etc etc should be contacted about the activities of the NDM. If someone like Reuben Abati writes about this movement in his CROSSROADS Column, a lot of publicity will be generated. We should also try and write about the NDM in our respective blogs and Websites. We can also write individual and collective articles to National Dailies and Magazines in Nigeria on different development topics but with NDM cited in the articles. I will come up with more ideas as time goes on. Cheers. Nigeria will become great again. |
For those of us in the diaspora, it is time for us to start thinking of how to invest in Nigeria.
