Hmn, nice one. What about investments in Food Processing businesses and factories? People need to eat and Nigerians spend good money on Snacks and Food . These fintechs, will they make more money than food processing companies? I think Food Industries need lots of dollar investments too. Thanks.

Any processed food MUST be registered before being offered for sale in Nigeria. That is our law. That is why pure water as simple as it is need to be registered. Anybody not willing to register food or drugs, just assume there is a problem somewhere.

The registration fee for processed food is too expensive. NAFDAC should reduce their fees, abeg . Then some packaged snacks like Chinchin, Popcorn, Peanuts, doughnuts, cupcakes etc should have very low registration fees or no NAFDAC numbers at all, except the entrepreneur is planning to sell the snacks in more than one state in Nigeria. We have been eating these snacks for a long time in Nigeria at a local level without any food poisoning incident at any time. Cheers.

The reason for the unused quota is students refuse to study some courses they consider 'archaic' or irrelevant to their future- Classics, Yoruba, Education courses, Forestry, Soil Science, Botany, History, Religious Studies etc .

Food Science and Technology is a course that is becoming HOT and RELEVANT on a yearly basis in Nigeria.

Tell your Cousins and Friends or young relatives to study Food Science and Technology at any Polytechnic or University in Nigeria. Thanks.

There are good quality and cheaper sardine alternatives in the market . Must you eat Sardine all the time? There are other brands of canned fish that are cheaper than sardine and geisha. D'tigers Squad that won Silver at the 2017 Afrobasket for Men was also like this Squad. They were new basketball players apart from Ike Diogu and one other player. Most of the 2015 Gold winning squad were not in the 2017 D'tigers Squad. Ike Iroegbu, Ike Nwamu, Obi Emegano, Daniel Ochefu etc were in the 2017 squad and they won Silver though they were also untested. Alex Nwora barely had 2 weeks to put the 2017 team together. Cheers.

True that. I think D'tigers will stand up to their opponents at Afrobasket 2021. Our boys will handle the pressure from the Tunisians when we meet them. If Tunisia gets defeated in the Quarter Finals, then D'tigers can win the trophy. Our boys might suffer from inexperience initially, but they will get better with each game.

It is not a weak team. Many of this Squad's players are making their debut for Nigeria on the international stage. Domingo and Omogbo are very good players. The others are fresh and they must have been selected to play at the Afrobasket because they have something to offer Nigeria. I see this squad getting to the Semi Finals or even the Finals, if they can get past Senegal and Tunisia. Besides, the four home based players are also experienced . They have played on the continental level in Africa for their Nigerian basketball clubs. With Mike Brown at the helm of affairs, Nigerians should expect at least a 2nd place finish ( Silver Medal ) from this team. Cheers.

The Olympic guys are mostly NBA players. The NBA rules concerning participation in competitions 60 days before the NBA League kicks off is what they are respecting. I believe the list of players that has been released is not bad. This squad might win a Silver or Bronze Medal. If they can get past Senegal and Tunisia, then Nigeria can win this year's Afrobasket for Men. Cheers.

Very true. Nigeria has so many hidden opportunities in Agriculture, Food Processing, Housing and Accommodation, Schools etc.

We need to be innovative with our fruits, grains, vegetables etc. If you make donuts and puff puff and you sell in a public secondary school daily, do you know how much you will make in a year? Hmn.

Zamfara State is dulling big time. Anyway, na Sharia state . I think I will have to exclude Gusau and Zamfara State from my Northern Nigeria exploration and travel plans. i want to clarify some issues here for those who are calling or chatting me that they want to follow me whenever i want to travel.

3. if you are afraid to travel, remember that some people are not traveling to north but they got killed here in south o, some people are not traveling to north o, but they were kidnapped o. my point is that no where is safe in Nigeria.

4. All these information I am/was given out, nobody would reveal it to the people for free but I considered the unemployment in this country that's reason I revealed these information to benefit those who can venture into the business. You don't need to have big money before you start, start from somewhere. Look at those aboki that are pushing wheelbarrow, they are making a profit of atleast 5k on a bag of grains, if atleast they sell 3 bag of grains in a week they would make atleast 15k in a week. My point is that, start from somewhere.

I started my journey to Zamfara state on July 4, 2021, I boarded a night bus to Abuja from Ibadan.I entered abuja around pass 5am in the morning, from abuja i boarded a car going to Sokoto and i alighted at gusau, i entered cattle market straight because their market day is every Monday and Friday. i have been to different states with different market in northern state but zamfara was the worst state i have ever been to.

i went to zamfara state for sallah rams, reason i choose zamfara state was that it's very close to south west than taraba and Adamawa state because my journey to Adamawa state in last month, i bought some rams from mubi animal market with cheapest price but those animals suffered due to long distance, that's reason i choose zamfara state.

we were three in number, those two brothers were from osun state while i came from ibadan, we worked together as a team.

we used gusau animal market as our based for our animals for feeding and security, on my first day, i bought 12 rams because i intended to buy almost 100 rams. on the second day which was Tuesday, on getting to the market two of my rams was missing, we searched everywhere, i saw one, i didn't see the other one. we left to another market which was very close to Sokoto state, it was 2 hour journey from gusau to the market.

on getting to the market, we paid for transport and one of us lost almost 100k in the car, we searched everywhere but no where to be found, immediately we entered the market, i was terrified about population of fulanis in the market because in southern state we believed that the fulanis are the bandit.i stayed outside the market to monitored the environment because i feared for my life o, also 200k was stolen from the second brother. I spent 6 days in that state and my findings are as follows:

1. There are a lot of thieves in the state, that's reason when you buy cows in that state, you must collect the receipt and the seller must take a picture with cow and attach to the receipt

2. zamfara, kastina and Sokoto are not secured for business, I prefer going to Maiduguri than going to those states

3. on the day we decided to leave the state, after I loaded my rams into the truck, I discovered that 2 of my rams food has missed, I called one of the market management and I explained everything to him that they have stolen my rams food which per a bag was 7k, the guy reported it to seriki of the market, seriki called the police to arrest those boys in the market, fortunately, one of the boys revealed where the food was, to the guy I reported to.
The guy made one statement that I will never forget that, " did you expect these people to come back to zamfara state to buy market with their bad experience" the fact is that I will think twice before I go to zamfara for another business

When I got to Ibadan, I thanked God for saving my life when I heard that some people also travel from Ibadan to northern state (name withheld) after they bought all their rams, they were killed in the market and all their rams were taking away by bandit.

Hmn. Are there no banks and ATM machines in these markets and in the North? Why did the guys who lost their money carry cash with them? Carrying 100k and 200k with you in the Car is not a good idea . They should have made use of banks and POS operators in the markets to withdraw money for the purchase of grains etc.
