mercyymai:And how is he going to do that. And after paying the Court"s fine of 2 mill aka bail, what stops him from disappearing into thin air at the least. The details is what matters in any judgement and the Court should be specific about how its pronouncements are executed. One of the reasons for harsher punishments in other climes is the impossibility of exacting recompense. You release a fraudster into society to return money is like giving an arsonist a box of matches and a can of gasoline... kindergarten judgement in my opinion and ho do I know this.... Her first statement and I quote: '... that cryptocurrency business is a Ponzi scheme...'. A learned judge actually said this. |
Angelfrost:When billions are fritted away evey year through corruption we tolerate these things because inflation doesn't pounce and ravage like a jungle cat but creeps and suffocates slowly like an anaconda. If only the vast majority of Nigerians were cerebral in nature and are able to recognize the damage the structure of this country has caused one generation after another, we will have responded with much more determination to get qualitative leadership than we are doing right now. |
Are you people not fed up with all these personality 'disorders'. The Nigerian citizen is not concerned about what he gets out of this democracy thing, only what rocks his ego chasing after individuals that have scant regards for him. Folks should know that this window of opportunity, these next few months is all they will have in the power equation for the next four years. What should be front and centre is how to get these people thinking about the challenges the nation faces and the details of the solutions they can potentially offer. Folks, let us focus on ISSUES and leave personalities alone. We are not all going to live in Tinubu's mansion or on Atiku's ranch. |
Nothing can make me legitimize the aspirations of failed individuals all in the name of elections. I simply do not believe democracy is working and until Nigeria is restructured elections will never bring about any expected change. Nigerians should be more concerned about the dubiously flawed system called primaries by which candidates are presented to them at the polls. Expecting those who bribe their way onto the ballot to change ones life once in power is the height of folly and I am way past that intellectually. |
AntiMahdi:Hmmm..... don't worry Sylvester Stallone aka Cobra will be waiting for him.... ![]() |
Are you watching Portugal v Czech Republic.... just see smooth, slick football abeg.... making our game v Leone like a kindergarten playground kick around... Are these the folks we wanted to meet in the World Cup... with this squad... I just laugh.. |
nerilove:A so called 16mm diameter rebar will pass for a 12mm one of just a decade ago. Everything just going downhill in Nigeria... no pun intended. |
Thinkam:Hmmm.... |
alibiguy:..... , funny you. |
Nigeria is playing and only ten pages.... shows how low our soccer has sunk... no one gives a hoot anymore.... Pinnick, see ya sef. And tomorrow they will be looking for sponsors.... that will take their goods to the market where there are no customers. The man doesn't know that success is the vault and results is the key to a world of sporting prosperity. Good results will bring in the big bucks, the big bucks will hire the big coaches and feed the best players and the best coaches will sustain and improve the results that sustain the cash flow. When will our leaders wake up. |
Favaman:Saved by the bell. |
Osimen should leave abeg or his injury will worsen. |
Gleampaints:It contributed to the Ekong injury as he made the sharp turn to cut off that attacker. |
prinsam30:He needs to leave Villarreal... By the way I like Peseiro. Looks super active on the touchline. Lot better than Snow White and the Seven dwarfs. |
prinsam30:He needs to leave Villarreal. |
phemmyfour:Pitch.... I accept.... weather...Abuja has been cool today, rained heavily a couple of hours ago. |
pargelenis:Likely caused by infection. Prolonged use without applying fungicide. These things are beyond our ability. Ours is to award contracts and then wait for the next. |
Iwobi has played quite well today. |
Otasikwe:Well if it means he can no longer run or make a decent set of passes then... ![]() |
Chuks....hmmm |
The Calvin Bassey we see in Scotland and this one we are seeing here....are they really one and the same... what is the problem? |
I am sure even Moses Simon will be surprised with himself... at what he can achieve when not mindlessly dribbling his life away. Two assists... not bad. |
At least Peseiro is vocal so there may yet be hope of a decent team. |
The pitch is so, so bad. Another mega contract loading. |
1-1 |
Either Peseiro is here for the gravy train or he mistakenly bought into the hype. One thing is clear, he has his work cut out. This team is just terrible. |
Machinegun91:DSTv 202 |
Here we go again. Nigeria conceeds. |
dododawa1:After trashing the place the last time you think CAF/FIFA will risk the general frustration pervading the country. I'm sure even the players will be relieved playing behind closed doors. |
The ink on the much touted renovation contract of the MKO/Nat Stadium is barely dry and the pitch is gone, looking like a leopard skin.... that hasn't missed the match commentary.... honestly some things are just beyond us... |
Lightorder:But they are not being engaged so far and it is getting late to secure their attention. We spend far too much time playing politics, running around the kitchen such that when th food finally arrives the guests have long gone home hungry. |
Ventura1:7 years after spending massively on various social projects, what is the result.... rampaging public debts and the consequent inflationary effects.... further deepening poverty.... please wake up. |
