What can I say. Ehat can anyone say about this man mountain. His life was Christ, his departure his gain. The trumpets of heaven will sound all day and night to welcome God's foremost general of our time. Rest in glory oh man of peace. |
Corrupt elements. |
Cannot be. Hawks are notably smaller than their predatory cousins and a lot less common in Nigeria. They are rather known for the speed of attack than carrying capacity. Likely to be the more common and far bigger eagle. |
PointZerom:Exactly. Just because the heat was on them. Why didn't they wait till the police force broke into pieces. Afterall there are security personnel from those pillaged villages and there will be men of the armed forces, the DSS, police and what have you who would have lost loved ones or whose loved ones are in IDP camps. Let those in authority continue playing the ostrich and destroying the institutions they claim to lead. |
The Registrar is highly silly for saying that. He us lucky this country is structured to laugh at her collective tragedies than react violently to them. Is is not his and his institution's failure that placed a deranged lady in charge of 36million in cash. We are making light of their failures and they want us to be provoked instead. To do what. Storm the Jamb office and behead the whole lot of them. Then they will know how serious Nigerians can be. Nonsensical fellow. |
Me too. Even if I injest all the coke in Colombia. |
wellmax:And what makes a Governor bigger than a Senator. Because in other climes there is no comparison whatsoever between a Federal lawmaker and a regional head. In Nigeria what makes for His Excellency are the billions in allocations and available to steal. Dats all. |
pauljumbo:Ask me. Kept in detention for months for breech of peace. This country may be under one flag this day but it is already divided. Two countries in one. With different laws, rules and standards. |
vaiper:Sure Wigan will be punished but Sergio will be 'punishier'. You think this is primitive eye for an eye Nigeria where two wrongs cancel each other out. |
Is this not like what Patrice Evra did at Olympic Marseille months ago and he was ejected like a spent cartridge albeit to a club fan. |
ballerin:Where is the picture of that 700 pound stallion tied still to that 5 pound plastic chair.... |
FarahAideed:You can say that again. Nigerians can see why Nigeria remains underdeveloped. Materialism everywhere. Corruptive feudal systems which ensures leadership is for a fee that makes it unaccountable to the vast majority. Not surprised. With 2019 just round the corner and with the APC reconciling everyone is shoring up his home base against the tug of war to come. These so called traditional leaders who are positive socio-revenue centres in other climes are once again net cost centres to our collective desire to move forward. Kwara people had better contribute to buy these 'leaders' perhaps bigger SUV's to bring their attention back. |
As it rises so will the subsidy aka 'under payment' government will have to fork out for its largest import. Long gone are the days when oil prices determine our fortunes. We are now maturing as an economy learning how to pay our bills and using our hands to feed ourselves. |
KenOne:Yes indeed. The right politics is being played by Rochas abi. In a civilised state the rift and angst generated by this whole affair is enough to make such a controversial figure voluntarily withdraw himself, but no. Until the state is set ablaze and scores of lives are lost will they accept that elected office is a call to service. A call by the people not by an individual. |
brownhawk:Of course you will stand with anything wrong with Nigeria and Nigerians of questionable character. Yes you generally expect to be ripped of by the selfish. It is understandable that politicians that cannot perform rather than resign will sit there and perpetuate evil and of course folks stand with them. Carry on. |
That is the way our politicians spend taxpayers money we entrust to them via our votes. They seldom get the job done but ensure their nests are well feathered. Capital expenditure is never complete but even ghosts preside over an oversubscribed recurrent expenditure. The interesting thing however is that we can see such sordid behaviour has it roots in our DNA and will continue for generations to come. Nigerians are responsible for the state of Nigeria. |
The get married faster because of entrapment be it physical, emotional, psychological or spiritual (dark arts) which all put together does not endure. Many don't last. Hardly any ends well except the personality is changed by the Creator Himself. |
His future is bright. Let us start by calling him Honourable or His Excellency. |
Shows the economy is in a poor state. If we are recovering as alleged then demand should be rising despite imports. And these are the real indicators, not those coming from government offices. |
plamonee:It is too early for the PDP. They are not ready. |
omojeesu:Abeg go siddon. Herdsmen that tear up fences of unoccupied lands even in Abuja. Herdsmen that burn anything land they cannot access. Fence the airport at your own risk. There is no airport in Nigeria that hasn't been fed upon. Nnamdi Azikiwe Abuja during the GEJ period and Murtala Muhd. during OBJ's time. Which airports are bigger than these and should be better protected in this era of global terror. It is just a matter of time before cattle related accidents occur particularly with night flights. I mean if it was the pilot of the Air Peace that spotted the problem that no one on the ground saw then what happens at night when pilots rely essentially on runway lights (which are not peripheral) and instruments which donot detect ground obstructions. We are one cow away from a tragedy with this our nonsense attitude. |
The list cannot be released because everyone knows what everyone else has done. In a nutshell if looter A is included and looter B is not the mudslinging starts and who knows where it will end because when it hits the fan it can get blown as far back as the seventies and eighties and then everyone will be soiled. So it is in everyone's interest that what has died in the cupboard stays in the cupboard. If you know it is labelled 'worms', why open the can and go 'urrghh...' Wetin consan you. |
Of coure he is one of them that professes that Nigeria is a rich country because of oil and so his government is readily waiting to subsidize his ignorance and outright fuckery. If society sets standards and places demands on its citizens for productivity will he have time for this nonsense. Yes some fool will say, yes he can if he has money to take care of them. I agree if he can build his own country complete with schools to educate his army of offspring or enough prisons to warehouse the bulk he will not be able to raise straight and narrow. Ignorant man. |
NwanyiAwkaetiti:It is very unhealthy. Packed with bad cholesterol. |
aolawale025:You can say that again. |
aolawale025:Then you know precious little about Nigeria. Please go spend time reading about the real history of this country. This forum teaches nothing. |
[quote author=hammer6F post=65098532]SHOPS ARE VERY IMPORTANT OP. THE SHOPS SHOULD BE BUILT WITH GLASS BUT SAME ARCHITECTURE. BUSINESS IS WAT MAKES AN AREA NOT JUST HOUSES. [/quote Commerce is at the bequest of the residents who should be in association and set standards. Some like me want to live in an area free of all commercial activities. I just cannot stand pollution around the home and if these estates will become like Jankara market in the near future I wil not bother to enquire. This is what is killing a lot of so called estates in Abuja, the inability to set and maintain standards. Before you know what is happening you neighbour is either a nursery school, maternity or a branch of Redeemed church after spending long and hard to develop your property in what was advertised to be a 'serene environment'. And of course government looks the other way calling it a private matter. Of course it is. |
I'm with the lady on this one. Nigerians are besieged by poverty mentality that views cost only not considering value. No one wants to pay for anything. This rush for the bottom thinking has eroded standards, branding and professionalism. If we commanded the world thought there will be no mercedes benz, LVMH, liverpool or CNN. Look at our equivalents. Those who want to be successful are mocked and derided. Funny enough we are an import dependent people who see foreign products, services and brands and boast about them yet when it 'local' it is immediately taboo. If she was based abroad or a foreigner based in Nigeria no one will question it but excuse it. If Nigerian Neymar was bought by Enyimba for a hundred million naira all hell will be let loose. But we will be quick to engage quack 'engineers' who will work unprofessionally for peanuts and collapse all our investments and then bkame the devil. She has set her standards and will be patronised by people of like minds. If they don't see value, they will stop. If she is responsive they will get the best plantain meal ever made and tomorrow when she hits the world stage the same Nigerians will vent again in insecure envy. That has been the story of our doctors, engineers, chefs, seamstresses, sportsmen and women who have dumped this country to locales that value their oroducts and services and have encouraged them to become successful and outstanding in their fiekds of endeavour. Let us remain here with our crab mentality, dancing around poverty. If you cannot spend, you cannot earn and the society implodes under the suffocating weight of ignorance and backwardness. The reason Elon Musk will risk millions in space development is because he knows he wil earn billions from the products of his venture. If he was a Nigerian in Nigeria will take his money, build a hundred mansions, buy a dozen private jets and begin to sabotage political government for ekected office. All you naysayers had better call up that lady and encourage her with objective, critical reviews rather than just criticism. Change your thinking. |
What is this. Abeg Rolls Royce, stick to your calling. |
Wretched looking things, wasting their youth only to regret at age and become a liability to society. See what young people engage themselves in other societies as drivers of innovation, creativity and the new socio-economic order. These are just useless products of failed parenting. |
