Entom:The PDP has been gone for two years and counting two budgets later you still cannot get over it. |
Anything you cannot improve upon, be an expert in when you're old and grey and pass on to the next generstion as a legacy is not worth devoting even a minute of your life. Just wasting their time. When realisation finally hits and they begin to get serious, their time is up and they turn back and say, 'hey, the world ain't fair.' |
sarrki:So, we 'deserve' Buhari?......interesting..... |
akpamuomenka:Big difference. These ones take your money and soul forcefully. Those ones you mentioned are given those things willingly. Tell me you don't have your pet criminal in government who you bow down to and worship like the golden calf. |
donpeluchi:Not even that. But it should not become a shrine or tourist attaction for the sake of the neighbours. It should be demolished and the lot converted to a garden or peace park. |
BiafraBushBoy:Is kidnapping not a capital crime anymore. They better conclude their investigations on his network fast and have him in the docks by weekend and in the gallows before summer's end. Enough is enough. |
simplycarro:Mention any country from Canada to New Zealand and checkout their own badoos. These folks on display here are just learners in comparison. The problem is not the crime but the criminal justice system. |
babablogger:What is thd evidence they were tied and surrounded. |
hedonistic:I agree. Yes, a bad economy, lax laws, poor enforcement, corrupt judiciary will lead of an increase in crime, but violent crime has nothing to do with this. Violence is sympomatic of a far deeper malaise than corruption and embezzlement by politicians or political leadership. I doubt it if these folks will be any 'nicer' in thier criminality if all politicians were to be in jail. Violent, person to person crime has spiked in no small measure partly due to the drop in physical cash in circulation due to the cashless policy of government, the spike in numerous low level armed conflicts all over Nigeria, the breakdown of most social structures and institutions and the apathy of all governments towards restructuring of the country. I'm afraid if goverment is not able to reverse these trends it will only get worse. The country has grown too complicated for the type of structure that supports it. Embezzlement as a sole factor is just too simplistic. |
bellotaofeek:Doubt that. A shot gun cartridge does the exact opposite from a rifle round. The pellets disperse and cause entry damage over a wider area but because of this dispersal the penetrative energy is less than that of a rifle round. A rifle round on the other hand is typically tapered so the entry wound will be small and 'bloodless' (surgical). However the momentum of the bullet at close range the exit wound will be larger (in the magnitude of 4 to 6 times) due to the compressed column of tissue ahead of the escaping round. I can confidently tell you. That is not a shot gun footprint. At close range half his chest will be gone. At a wider range he will have multiple injuries but less deep, less traumatic and the man will rather die from blood loss than substantial tissue damage. |
babablogger:Doubt that. Must have been fleeing. The bullet entry and exit holes clearly show at keast one was shot in the back. Executions will more likely be a frontal head shot. |
lofty900:What were you doing there as 'a gentleman'. For it is 'gentlemen' like you that are invited to 'validate' undesirables like them. The fact that you were not 'settled' with 'them' goes to show their class, character and conduct which is at variance. We should begin the slow and painful transit from the 'gangs of Newyork' era to one of civilisation. Believe me. You are not helping. Boycott their assemblies. Make them irrelevant. |
rheether:Not good enough. What are your views and opinions about Nigeria. Press them and demand for 'what is right'. Because if you can't do it here you will not be able to do it anywhere. You will jump country to country because the 'fight' is moving overseas. Just ask London. |

Better stop. Your kidneys are probably maxed out and could begin to fail. Get to see a proper doctor, a dermatologist who will find out EXACTLY what is happening. People have lost their lives on wrong assumptions/self medication. |
Pimples are not boils so they have little to do with the skin but what is going on in your blood stream. Battering your skin with medications will do little but long term damage to your kidneys (as they need your skin to carry part of the load of detoxification). Your best bet will be to do a hormonal study of your body to find out what is not in balance, what is causing the stress (as it could be symptoms of a deeper problem) and whether it is a temporary thing which will self correct with age (as most of them do). If not your doc will probably give you steroids (equally dangerous with long term use). The key here is enlightenment. Get your family and pals to understand the human body and its many foibles and they will get to accept the situation you find yourself. The biggest threat to your health and life is your mind. Never let positivity drop. |
Still undecided what his real potentials are....not sure whether he made certain decisions right. |
How are the police recruited. By 'allocation' of opportunities to various tribes and sects and states and.... So can you find a single policeman in Nigeria who applies for the job via inspiration and undergoes competitive screening and is vetted based on competency.... no. So how can you expect performance from incompetency. How can you expect genius where there is no inspiration. How can you expect the police, a law enforcement institution to work properly when you insist on 'allocating slots' based on ethnocentricism. Will you employ your gateman based on such thinking. Why do you accept it for your country. Restructure Nigeria now. The clock is ticking....the fuse it lit. Bandits, militias, herdsmen are having a field day, falling through the cracks of the law that cannot bind the nation together. |
Shameful, shambolic shambles. |
Completely useless team. |
Poor game, poor team. Every thing regressing in this country. |
When we said restructuring, they said corruption is the biggest problem. Let me see who will bother about who stole what when Nigeria goes into meltdown. |
Benjamin Button. |
'WE KNEW WHY WE KILLED 3 MILLION PEOPLE'... wow.... just stunned.... That is why I will consider Jonathan as the best President Nigeria ever had. He removed the perfumed bandages on the rotten sore called Nigeria..... that could never heal. Who could ever think these people could be exposed so badly like this.... see what they are forced to admit.... forced to vomit. 3 million human sacrifices.... for what.... to what end..... . Even the great Amelikites and Philistines could not match that. And yet you wonder why this country cannot be founded properly as a nation.... when the foundations are undermined by the sepulchres beneath it and the walls float on....rivers of blood. Until this country is restructured, it CAN NEVER PROGRESS. |
nurshah:Okay, you are too sure of his status. What is the source of his 'wealth'. What does he do for a living, what is his profession, vocation... We know Aliko Dangote makes cement, Mike Adenuga makes calls, Innocent Chukwuma makes cars... what does this man do to earn your RESPECT. I say this because in every advanced society the responses you get tending towards doubt and outright hostility is what you will expect as the first views, when information is sparse. In responsible societies the flaunting of wealth is seen as symptoms of a deeper malaise. It draws scorn from the public and the tax man from government. it is incidences like this....bodies on the street that attracted a young J. Edgar Hoover into the jet setting world of organised crime. Yes, it smells like it....big time. People are not just gunned down for 'being successful'. Mark Zuckerberg took an early morning jog in Lagos....Bill Gates has been here several times....and the money man Floyd Mayweather is coming to town. If he hears success gets you fast to your grave then he has no business coming to Nigeria. It does not and you should not create that impression. |
Justuceleague2:Then I think you should revisit your electrician for a full refund.... or the warranty from your maker will be rendered invalid. What the.... |
I don't understand how a man can be raped while 'unconscious' because in my simple understanding of mechanical engineering, the piston will require a functional hydraulic pump which in turn requires a running engine...which requires electrical impulses from command and control, aka the brain box.... Once again, if a man is knocked unconscious.... how does his "excavator' work.... |
TheRealestGuy:Thank you for the second part. |
Mumu Minister in a mumu government. Treating the symptoms, fighting the fire without stopping the root cause, the fuel firing the flames. I didn't expect those profiting or benefitting from the status quo to want a change anytime soon. It is their supporters I pity, who don't have the resources or the intellect to mitigate the impending fallout. |
jayriginal:The question will remain 'if it is truly Messi that makes Barcelona or Barcelona that makes Messi.' The evidence is clear, the Argentine national team, always out of sorts, with or without him and then there is the classic worked example of 'golden Pep'.....demystified outside the Nou. |
Poster. This is what you spend your time doing.... and you don't feel you are contributing to the recession. |
An impossible question to ask without sentiments. Just like the famed ones: Is an overflowing consulting room proof of the doctor's competence or incompetence. How about mechanic workshop, a seamstress's shop or an executive's table. Does clutter mean confusion or capacity. The choice of a 'made man'..... (and I make no reference.to La Cosa Nostra) or a 'baker' is entirely up to the individual involved because there are serious merits in considering either possibilities viz goals, values, vision, temperament, etc. I think one can make similar arguments for say, educated and non educated, business or professional, etc. There is just no one clear side....no one shoe fits all. |
It happens to all people who will make a significant impact in life. I don't know of any successful person who did not suffer 'total momentum loss' shortly after 'take-off'. It is the validation phase of enterprise when whatever value that has been built is converted from material to mental substance. It is nature's way of finding out whether you are serious and ready to be established. I've heard countless stories of life changing, back breaking, gut wrenching setbacks to theft, fraud, assasinations, fire, flood, drought, dis favour, sabotage, you name it. Fortunately most of those great men and women reacted well and bounced back in due time after a lot of introspection, fortitude and determination to become not only successful in their ventures but better individuals in character, conduct and most importantly, values. I lost all of four years of 'labour' to unanticipatable circumstances beyond my control, a number of years ago. Luckily for me I didn't have the time to mourn as I had comittments to those I served so I had to remount the saddle as fast as I could. Today I have not recovered everything in their glorious diversity but the things which are important to life and living have been met several times over. Just a leaner and meaner me remains. |
