Not convinced. In armament terms while their rivals are buying hellfire and amrams they continue to invest in catapaults and bows and arrows. Trophies don't come this way.....like Wenger and the Board cares anyway.

dainformant:
Tragedy occurred in a Cross River community after five children gave up the ghost after eating Cucumber in their mother's absence. Their great grandmother also died on hearing the sad news. Read the full details as shared by Paul Baji on Facebook..

Sadness has taken over the land of Amana, and indeed the entire Becheve ward in Obanliku have of Cross River State of Nigeria, as 5 grand children of one Mrs Dorthy Agbor from old ikwette village a.k.a Bottom hill residing in Amana have died after eating cocumber.

Sources reveal that the children ate the fruit in absence of their grand mother, but under the supervision of their grade grandmother as their grandma had attended the burial of one Mr. Emma Kechie.

On her return the next morning, she discovered that 5 of her grand children were unconscious, she then raised alarm for help. This attracted the attention of friends, neighbors, and colleagues who came to her assistance by rushing the victims to nearby clinics. Few minutes after one female child gave up the ghost.

Two hours later, 2 boys followed. As if that was not enough, 4 hours later another female child died. As I speak with you now one of the victims who was undergoing treatment in the hospital has just died. On hearing the death of these children, their grade grandmother under whose supervision the children ate the fruit collapsed and died few minutes after, bringing the total number of corpse to 6 from the same house. WHAT A TRAGEDY?. At the moment 4 of the corpse have been taken to old ikwette for burial. This is because the host community ( AMANA ) has objected to the idea of buring them in their land, as it is tragedy. They also say is to avoid future occurance as this kind of thing has never happened in their land before.

Never ever have a schedule. This is the era of wisdom and only those who think at a higher level will survive. You come for cash at a set time daily is not even the purview of kidnappers alone, what about robbers.

But for kidnappers to demand 70 million from a business/man who collects the day's takings unaccompanied is a bit naive. He probably doesn't have such.

I might be wrong though...
Even if you are right isn't it clear that the development of society is not down to a single individual in a democracy. How you guys thought it was possible baffles me but shows that the people are seriously ignorant and don't have the mental capacity to develop themselves. Corruption fighting back indeed. Is that all you can say... wow...is there any society anywhere in the history of mankind without crime, criminals and combative corruption....what are/were their responses.... go study and avoid that pub this night.

With all your hooliganism what have you achieved? Someone else is praying and getting results. Whether you didn't know that Osinbajo became a vp not by protest or arrogance. think otherwise and repent
Why should you pray in a country where things are alright. Why not fix things. What are you praying for or whom are you praying against....your fellow citizens. Do they have two heads or the power of angels. This is the foolishness that often baffles me. You support and empower a system you have no power to control then resort to prayers to over some an obvious folly. God's laws are grafted in solid stone on what to do to have a prosperous society and He will rather find a cane for the backs of fools. Keep praying you here....don't seek wisdom and do it.

And by the way.... real Christians know that results don't come through prayer but through the appropriate response to instruction so there are many who donot 'pray' away challenges but seek what God says through His Word and apply them diligently. For you guys God is not a Maker but a mechanic, repairing rubbish constantly. Keep empowering your adversities.

Is Nnamdi Kanu the subject matter here?

Can't you see the country is not functioning?

The Igbos want to allow the Yorubas and the Housas to continue with what they know how to do.

By the way, what's the big deal in allowing people who "don't contribute anything" to the Nation go their own way?

The Igbos have nothing, they are criminals, they are kidnappers, they are illiterates, they corrupt other parts of the country, yet you don't want them to go and manage their problems?

Must a husband kill a wife who says she's no longer interested in a marriage?

God forgive you.
That is the million dollar question I keep on asking. Why fight to keep a relationship in which there is no respect, no love, no hope
Who is in fact gaining from this one Nigeria thing.

Saraki, right from the very day he assumed that position, has done absolutely nothing but constituted himself into a clog in the wheel of progress of this administration.

I have no idea the kind of deal that was struck between the so called cabal and himself that lead the CCT to declaring him innocent. But with this report, one doesn't need a soothsayer to tell them he is now fulfilling his own end of the agreement.

When the bow breaks and the cradle falls, we the people always seem to be the subjects holding the hotter end of the rod. It is so unfortunate the country has become so polarised along ethnic and religious lines that any intended mass action as was witnessed in 2010 would be nearly impossible!

Osinbajo needs to man up and begin to assert himself. Even if we can't have a consensus we can at least build enough support across the divides to ensure the baying vultures get our message.

I've got this queer feeling the President isn't even aware what is going on between the various power blocks in his admin.
So you have finally admitted that the entire system has failed...good morning....

[quote author=MediumStout post=58170488]The Constitution is clear on who becomes president if the seat is declared vacant. Osinbajo will soon be sworn in as Commander in chief of Armed forces if Buhari cannot continue to lead the country. Let's stop heating up the polity but rather focus on the ravaging mad man called Nnamdi Kanu whose present treasonous actions like his predecessor Ojukwu could trigger a second civil war if not curtailed. Nnamdi Kanu and his myriads of frustrated IPOB youths are constituting nuisances all over the east. The DSS and federal government should take actions before it's too late. Nnamdi Kanu can only be stopped by putting him back in prison. His release reignited the present madness we are witnessing. Nigeria's Unity is not negotiable. No group or entity will be allowed to break or destabilize the unity and diversity of the Nigerian state. Biafra will never become reality. Even ojukwu with his military experience tried and failed. Who the hell is kanu? One Nigeria we shall remain sad[/quote)

Face the issue abeg and stop looking for a rock to crawl under. Who or what is becoming the bigger threat to Nigeria

The big question is: what is Nigeria doing or planning to mitigate the shock of this innovation on her economy and as well key in to make it useful in Nigeria?
The world is slowly leaving is behind. First oil will experience long term fall in value and you know the implication on our economy, then electric cars.... no or epileptic power. Meaning more and bigger generators to charge our cars, misery. Self driving or autonomous vehicles.... no decent roads and if we cannot even maintain traffic lights then such technology will become a national safety disaster.

Ladies. Get this into your heads. Having multiple suitors devastates both ways. As a woman values her body so a man values his wallet. It is biblical. A man spending on a woman is equivalent emotionally to a woman giving a man her body. A lot of women think that its only money and so can afford multiple suitors but that is equivalent to sleeping with all of them. If you cannot do that donot take things from them. If they offer just say no. If you carry on having guys foot your bills here and there you are bound to make a final wrong choice.

Exactly. She was deceiving the other guys and got deceived at the end. The so called OAP just isolated a square inch of a map and magnified it. Selfishly forgetting the other pictures of her friend 'ruining' the emotions of the other guys. This entitlement mentality amongst a lot of girls along with greed led her to make poor ilfe limiting choices. She rolled the dice and lost, simple. There is no sympathy here. She was a player too.

What nonsense is this man saying. Don't people own property abroad. Do people own property only in their country. Do people not conduct business across borders. Did the igbos say they are pulling their investments out of anywhere. Did they say anyone should pack out of their land?

What they have been asking for consistently is self determination. And all the detractors will as usual simplify it in whatever way their insincere minds take them. Thus one is doing geography and economics. Land lock or land open, the questions these people ask of the Nigerian state are legitimate and should be heeded. I don't know of anyone who is benefitting from this sorry country called Nigeria and feels it is ultimately on the right path. I have spent decades on this earth and lived in onlybthis country. I know she something is working or not. If Kokori chooses to live in a dumpster, fine. Others don't.

Car Talk › Re: States With The Most Beautiful Police Cars In Nigeria (Photos) by Reference(m): 4:47pm On Jul 01, 2017
prince3009:
Not in all cases. Let me recount my experience with the Anambra State Police I encountered at Onitsha on my way to Awka. I boarded a bus from Abuja to Onitsha and unfortunately, tb bus broke down on the way and so we arrived Onitsha late by 11pm. If you are very familiar with Onitsha, you will agree that Upper Iweka used to be a hotspot for criminals and robbers and this worried me because that was where the bus stopped. The Upper Iweka Road was totally deserted and empty and while pondering on what to do and how I was going to make it to Awka that night, I decided to sit down in front the terrace of a shop. Immediately I sat down on a bench there, a very bright light dazzled me instantly and a car parked in front of th shop in fbi-style. It turned out to be one of those Toyota Cars belonging to the police. They asked me via a loud horn speaker inbuilt in the car to identify myself. I did to the one that came out from the vehicle (luckily I had my work ID Card with me) and they asked me what I was doing there by that time of the night. I explained my ordeal to them and they said I was very lucky that it was them that saw me near the shop and not AVG (Anambra State Vigilante Group). To my surprise, they (the police) drove me in another Innoson pickup truck belonging to them looking for a hotel as they told me that no vehicle would take me to Awka that night. The corolla was driven back to it's former observation point. After some minutes, we found a hotel where I paid and was lodged (they waited outside till I came out to confirm to them that I was settled)...To my surprised, these policemen turned down the money I offered to them "for fuel" in appreciation. They simply said they were just doing their job. For once, after that incident, I became proud of the police and had a flicker of hope that Nigeria can be great again. I really commend the govt of Anambra State too because truly, Anambra has become safe unlike before.
Then you woke up the next day to find yourself in Antigua not Anambra

but at the moment he is just a SUSPECT!
Exactly. But it is more than the fact he committed certain criminal acts. There is a process that must be followed. In the US typical cases of even the most horrific crimes take a year or two to be concluded and that is an acknowledged superfast system. See the rushed cases of the EFCC... all lost. Where the process is shoddy, the outcome is sure failure.

Even the Nazis at Nuremberg had counsel. What is wrong with Nigerians. A jury system can never work here with this level of ignorance. What these fellows fail to realise is that the process of jurisprudence also educates and enhances the competencies of the judiciary and most especially law enforcement because a lot of information, critical information a felon may not submit under investigation may be volunteered under court examination. Like they say, a man will sing if given the opportunity to save his skin but will be mute in the face of death, resigned to a sure fate if lynched. And what we need more than all the violence are common sense solutions to our challenges.
