That's a f.uckin.g lot of hardware to lose. My gosh, mortars!! I said it 3 years ago. These guys cannot be defeated by force of arms alone. They are an ideoiogical movement and ideologies are extremely hardy especially if it is one rooted in hate and violence. The only way to defeat it is by a superior ideology but unfortunately those of similar faith, creed and background are unable to muster these abilities one the one hand and tacitly complicit on the other. The inability to hold one's faith accountable is the fuel running this sorry show. |
Okay. We got the message. |
Honestly, I cannot see what Rooney is doing on the bench while Pogba is playing. Just cannot see what Pogba brings to the team in clear un-sentimental terms. |
sundayojerinde:Higher education should neither be free nor compulsory. Nigeria cannot afford it. And at our level of development we need artisans rather than graduates. |
I wonder if it also relates to the age at first shave, the theory being that if you start in early adolescence and do so regularly thereafter you are less likely to develop skin irritation as opposed to leaving your whiskers for a few years before starting. Just a thought. Speaking as one of military background who came of age in the military and never had the luxury of growing a beard or keeping long hair till date. I saw relatively older colleagues struggle with clean shaves because they started late? |
SageTravels:liar. There is no connection between the cargo section and the airconditioning system. The airconditioner takes air directly from the engine through a heat exchanger and filters. Yes, smoke can get into the cabin from anywhere in the aircraft but if it comes via the airconditioner then the smoke is from the engines more likely from oil leakage in the turbine assembly. Smoke from the cargo bay means an onboard fire and to escape that is next to impossible. |
Barca....the end of an era.... |
Abeg the era of Barca dominance in Europe is over. Others teams have caught up tactically and the technics are failing in old, tired legs. If not for the mental block in the PSG coaches mind from years of defeats to Barca making him adopt disastrous tactics, PSG had no business losing to them. |

ihatebuhari:And the woman is the victim as usual, abi. |
sarrki:He is speaking in official capacity and echoing the sentiments of most Nigerians. The Executive should not lose this one to the Legislature. |
1bkaye:The fact that there is electricity means nothing to you until you plug in a device and power on. Similarly this news will have no effect on you until you engage the factors therein. While you wait for prices of consumables to suit your appetite, some others are making multi billion naira decisions based on this news alone. It is all about your knowledge and orientation. |
Fantastic development. Good job by the economic team. |
NubiLove:A company, obviously a front and I am certain the principals behind the company are ghosts. Anyone who bought any of the apartments in his or her name is obviously clean. |
TheGoodJoe:Yeah, the officiating was poor. Surprising from Kassai. |
justicejay:Kroos is a bigger game player. The guy has seen it all, done it all for club and country. Highest paid German player of all time. |
Fibo27:Yes. You heard me clearly. They cannot compete with the very best pound for pound and their academy has been faltering lately. A look through the current team proves both cases. I mean if Lewandoski is your top 9, it says a lot about your capacity and then the wages, the transfer sums. Abeg, Bayern cannot match the top Spanish and English clubs pound for pound. And today where was the Bayern bench, threadbare. |
ikp120:The team is old all the way through from Lahm and Alaba at the back, Alonso in the middle and Ribery Robben up front. The Bayern which we used to know and dread is gone. Pep started a rebuild. He should have been given time to complete the process but I guess the Bayern management were too impatient and hungry for champions league success. This is the result and with a massive shake up coming in the summer Bayern's champions league dreams will have to wait another 3 to 4 years. |
Ramos should be one of the decorated defenders of all time. Great player, great competitor. |
They should have done everything to keep Pep to create some long term momentum. They have recently become a coach crunching club like Madrid but the facts are clear, they neither have the funds nor the superstars to cover up for coaching turbulence. Bayern needs stability and I hope Carlo is given at least 4 years to rebuild what has been revealed to be an aging, suffering team. |
Tony Kroos my man silent assasin. |
Choi. Ronaldo has ended the careers of Lahm, Ribery and Robben. |
But why remove Lewandoski if still fit? |
Oreoo:Its the officials call not the team's. |
The officiating today has been poor. Missed calls all the way. |
Ancelotti has obviously inherited an aging squad, having no more to give. |
Talk2Bella:Seriously doubt it. I think most should focus on other things.... |
And just last year when Zimbabwe lit up some folks here (I will not mention names) were solidly behind Mugabe even insulting we his critics. Once again goes to show that the state of a country, including Nigeria is a fair reflection of the quality of the citizenry. Because leadership comes out of the citizenry and for Zimbabwe to pay its bills in livestock, then surely its people must live in the wilderness. |
Spain007:I tell you. I call it heart glue and the carb calories in the 'swallow'.... |
Ninilowo:Rubbish. An individual cannot be greater than a team. Apologize for what. Once the person becomes bigger than the team, it is the end. |
nazeefsco:The country should just move on. He can only be a disruptive influence in the team. When people walk out, they usually donot return to their vomit. Sends a bad signal to the rest of the team. You resign your job in anger and then crawl back years later..... The second stinct is bound to be crises ridden even if lessons have been learnt. |
Rohr should discover/develop new talents and stop this nonsense. I know we love second hand stuff in this country but certainly not when we have indigenous alternatives. |
