nonjebose:Exactly and she will resist the damage to her reputation, her productivity, her path/and her purse. And the fallout will drift into the home. |
GeniusDavid:This is what I am saying. People who seek to be cut 'some slack' are in all likelihood not 'driven' people. You shouldn't bother to work with/under her. Serious clashes are bound to happen. |
Depends on both personalities. If they are focused, purposes driven people, then they will see through personalities. But if they are the typical rat racers apt to bouts of outbursts of frustration then the office will become a powder keg and the marriage can quickly succumb. There are several successfully run businesses out there by couples where the team principal is the wife. I can't see the difference. If you cannot see beyond personalities and relationships as in this case, you probably are not a purpose driven person. |
juman:No sir, senseless citizens if that is what you mean....... because that is the tree the apples fall from. |
ahahnow:Then change the circles your revolve around. The tick cannot be far from the hound. |
Dyt:Hmmm, na waoh. So who is randy one here, the girl temptress or the man. Why is it that women ALWAYS want to get away with inappropriate behaviour, claiming victim even in incidents they clearly initiate. Never ever taking responsibility since the garden of Eden. |
Nusaf:No sir, they are the real agents of change. They want to wean you addicts off petrodollar fumes but you will have none of it. The malaria tablet of austerity is partially administered. Watch out for the full blown economic infection when 'toothpick importers' resume operations. There is nothing like painless reforms. |
I guess this is result of the rampaging inflation. The CBN has bowed to political pressure and kicked the monetary can down the road. Folks will simply go back to their bad habits of 'importing toothpicks' and when the treasury is empty again the retribution will be just as nasty. |
Good move. Credit to the government for weeding out its unsavoury elements. |
Well it is up to the next government to verify since there are no internal mechanisms to tackle financial impropriety. As accepted by the government and people of Nigeria. |
benjanjo1: I think it is you being punished. Hahaha....go look for something meaningful to contribute to society. The good book says a fool and his money are swiftly divorced. Can't believe this crap is still going on without you folks before a judge or in prison. What a lawless society. You even have the effrontery to publish your crimes on social media. |
Caseless:What people fail to realise is that Bugatti will probable not sell more that a couple of hundreds of units. They know it is not a consumer item and they may not break even. Just like the Veyron, the Veyron II and the Chiron it will probably be built in limited number. Where it will happen for them is the technology which is far, far more valuable. Once they lock that down in copyrights then they can make billions from Asian and American manufacturers. What is once view is an technology sample and the price tag is to attract positive interest. There are many companies out there that specialise in this. McLaren does this. It makes more money from technology trading than racing or manufacturing. What pisses me off with Africans is how they react to things. The white man will say, 'what makes the bike cost 12 million'. The black man will say 'what makes the bike not cost 12 million'. Then he goes to a 'burial' and spends 12 million. |
0b10010011:The 'bicycle' is just 5kg...if you can catch the drift... just 5 kilogrammes.... but to you...what the heck.. |
I find it hard to refrain from commenting on this post and I hope the opening line about 'village' whatever is just a joke but even at that it is clear it appeals to a certain mindset that is just base, unproductive, lazy and mediocre. Such a person, a so called engineer or technician I had a meeting with last night and all he could do was to reel out excuses and complaints as to why he could not implement my ideas and execute my requests. Why do Nigerians, the African have this lazy way of thinking through things, inverted way of appraising things that has made us slaves when we can be in charge of our destiny. The mindset that counts only the cost of things rather than the result of things, the affordability rather than the production, the price tag rather than the input can never progress. What I see is 12 million naira worth of education, technology, innovation and enterprise rolled in an excellent product that will be the fore runner of many more that will serve all humanity well into the future at all levels. Carbon fibre technology is highly expensive but its application to planes, cars, ships and trains has dramatically cut down fuel consumption in those equipment due to its lightness and high strength applications. If we think it does not bother us then we look at the price of oil our lazy minds depend on and see the correlation between their massive investments and their future prosperity and our future poverty. They don't build these things for us to criticise or admire. They build them to advance themselves and ensure their future prosperity by moving away from dependency to people like us. 12 million is too small a price for a sustainably profitable future. Almost every technology on a regular car today started out in multimillion dollar motorsport investments most blacks consider as irrelevant. Carbon fibre is the only thing keeping Boeing Aerospace from being crushed by Airbus Industries. Technology is the only guarantee for future survival and it has a steep price. The question is, what do Africans spend their money on. |
Not a bit surprised. One day men will line up like cattle and have their udders milked by a machine. |
Ignorance truly kills. Which one is spiritual problem again. Countless people die needlessly because they cannot bring themselves to read, which is the root of knowledge. They will rather listen to what they want to hear, useless talk, nonsense information and jump in feet first without weighing the consequences. Most Nigerians are mentally lazy, often putting their lives in the hands of others at the slightest attraction of liberty. |
Psst....in Nigeria it will become a ringtone. The first thing Kamoru will vandalise. |
Even for those who have witnessed armed conflict, this sends chills through your bones. |
If it doesn't matter for Mr President, it should not matter here. It is called precedent. |
macherie1:Oga, we have people operating 90% cashless. I am one of them. Progress of society is meeting in the middle. People should begin to value things and make their own sacrifice to make things work and not leave government dragging them kicking and screaming to developmemt all the time. Has NUBAN not benefitted you? But it was vehemently opposed at launch. Today I can pay for virtually anything I need at anytime to most people without burning my fuel and time. At a click of a button a company can pay all its staff no matter what bank they operate. No more bullion vans being hijacked at month end pay parades like we used to see in Portharcourt. All my suppliers and vendors have fallen in line. And as soon as gas stations go POS, I will be 100 percent cashless. There is no comparison whatsoever except you operare in the black economy or operate with excessively ignorant people which is just as dangerous. The next level is to develop credit rating agencies that will monitor incomes and expenditure of individuals and corporates in real time so that credit required to really grow the economy can flow. |
Fantastic. The rates are even too low. They should be between 10 and 25% so that everyone gets an account and POS systems for busineses/merchants. It closing in on 8 months since I was near a bank and I look forward to visiting one once in 5 years or as long as a drivers license or internatinal passport duration is. A bank is not your home or office to require daily visitation. Regular visits are symptomatic of poverty, illiteracy and crass under- development. |
'.....Belittle himself with a Customs uniform....', hmmmm...what a way to thoroughly demoralise an organisation you represent. Next you will see a future president preferring to be sworn under an American flag because he schooled there and sees himself as superior to Nigeria(ns).I am an apostle of demilitarisation of the civil society space and wished the offices of these organisations were rather manned by business suits, but this attitude on display is just reckless and the man has sealed his fate as far as future public office is concerned. |
Urban sprawl. Can't see the beauty anywhere. |
Femi or whatever is his name is very silly for speaking in public like this. |
It is good to be a Bible believing Christian. These things just donot happen. |
Choi..... Madrid don comot. Defending the cup is becoming the 8th wonder.. ...nigh impossible. |
morbeta:Isn't the plant sited on ocean front like most shoreline refineries, so that barges rather than trucks will bring supplues in. Far cheaper. |
DonLo:It even goes beyond that. This battle is like the one that goes on in the bowels of the earth that makes mountains, soil and minerals. It is a battle between individuals to form institutions of which the EFCC unfortunately is losing. Ignorant Nigerians (as usual) calling for the heads of the Legislature have failed to realise they are crystallising their position across party lines to become a formidable power bloc that will ensure their agenda is futhered into the future while the EFCC/Executive are casting all their lot with just one man Magu who may sleep and not wake up tomorrow morning just as J. Edgar Hoover, the founder of the American FBI did. Fortunately for Hoover, by his demise the FBI was already an institution and even though Hoover was descredited in his later working years, he had seperated himself, his larger than life character, his mystic from the organisation and the organisation had no option than to forge ahead. Can any Nigerian, especially those barking against the Senate mention just one person apart from Magu they feel confident can step into his shoes.... because the man can sleep and not wake up one day just like Hoover. The raucus about the 'Custom Boss customised uniform' is simply because the NCS has not been properly institutionalised. If not what is a retired colonel who knows next to nothing about such a specialist parastatal/organisation head it. Have we ever thought to ourselves why is it that criminals don't just kidnap or kill judges easily to escape sentence or murder policemen to terminate cases or send warning notes to prison wardens to let their felons out....why is it not common..... because one man does not control the system. Because taking out one man does not bring down an institution. Ignorant Nigerians scream that the Legislature is corrupt and that's why they don't want Magu. Equally ignorant people say, 'but there are 200 million Nigerians to take his place', However no one is talking about the EFCC. They don't feel the organisation matters, they don't see its relevance. But that is what matters, the institution. That is why a judge can go home and sleep soundly at night knowing that even if he doesn't wake up, the criminal will never go free. The more the EFCC is tied to Magu, the weaker it gets. Nigerians should educate themselves to raise their mentality to the degree of quality they expect of living in this country. |
Why not make it a police post or accomodation for security officials whom may not have better lodgings. Just thinking. |
