I've seen what you look like and heard you speak. You look too pretty and more like a lady boy and your affinity with Abuja and jonasatan suggests to me that you are probably in a relationship one or some of the bigwigs hence your die hard support for everything bad.

I like my man dark, tall, handsome, very well spoken, thoroughly intelligent and YORUBA.

Okay sha, let me put it simplistically without my tribal goggle on.

Whether Biafra likes o, make e move to kutuwenji, all I know is that other ethnic groups from the old Nigeria would not venture into ibo land. That land is forbidden and cursed!

They are currently doing well in their neighbouring African countries and that is where they should focus and expand. To say because Biafraland is thriving, a Yoruba man would commence negotiation is a big farce. There is absolutely nothing in that place jo! Okay, after I buy my spare parts and okrika shoes, what else? That place is like a cocoon ojare, nothing dey happen.

Politics › Oyo Governor Ajimobi Wasted Over N6 Billion On Communications Research Centre. by Relax101(op): 3:21am On Sep 30, 2011
How true? OYO people come and answer this question.

It is a general belief in the South-Western part of the country that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) was running the affairs of the states that fell to their party after the 2003 elections in a wasteful manner. This belief was responsible for the way the people voted the PDP out in the last elections, which paved the way for the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) to take the states.

Months into the reign of the ACN in these states, however, many of the elected governors are showing that they cannot all work the magic of theirLagoscounterpart, Babatunde Fashola.

Among the non-working ACN Governors is that ofOyoState, Abiola Ajimobi. The governor who we gathered at a time confessed to not knowing anything about governance, is more interested in replenishing the huge amount he spent in prosecuting the last election.

Just to mark his 100 days in Office the Governor, we learnt, has been pumping the state’s money into renovating and equipping the building called the Communication Research Centre and so far, he has pumped billions of Naira into it, more than half of which we learnt will be ending in the personal account of the governor.

The story is that the building in question happens to be one a former governor and chieftain of the ACN in the state, Alhaji Lam Adeshina started while he was the governor of the state but was abandoned by other governors that ruled the state.

Ajimobi is alleged to have spent over N6 billion on the project, which he hopes to unveil as one of the projects during his first 100 days in office later in the year. And the money he said was for construction of the Research House, as they call it, and to get some equipment may increase as the Governor iss also accused of not stating the exact budget he set aside for the project.

In another development, the activities of the Governor are gradually but inexorably pitching him against the elite inOyoState, as he is said to be fond of cancelling any project put in place by the immediate past governor of the state, Adebayo Alao-Akala.

Akala was said to have bought the idea ofLagosStatecreating the Lagos State Transport Management Authority (LASTMA) to control traffic and sent over 250 graduates from the state on courses to understand managing all sort of traffic problems. But months after Akala left office, the 250 that were trained and had started working, were sacked by Ajimobi, only for him to later employ a new set, with their salary allegedly pegged at N10,000 per month. The salary is the reason people are at the moment not happy with him.

This is just a tip of the iceberg and in just 100 days the Governor is laying an unpalatable foundation of wasting the state’s cash on irrational projects. Only God knows how much he will set aside for celebrations marking his first year in office. of trying to milk the state dry.

Nah, Lagos has off shore oil. Most, if not all the states that have access to the Ocean, have offshore oil. Agreed, some companies will leave but I can't see Lagos being totally defranchised by a split because its positioning itself to be the "London" or "Manhattan" of West Africa. With the suspension bridge (its first in WA), to Eko atlantic (a business hub) to the LRT (rail way system) . . I really cannot see a "beaten-down" SW.

With that said, BEAF, you and I know that there CAN'T be a 3-way split in the south. I know you know that! cool
The Ibibios and co will almost certainly join the SE. The Edos and co(including your group, Uhrobos because of their Edo connection) will almost certainly join the SW.
Even some of the so called Eastern Ijaws (with all due respect) will join the SE.
The best bet is Southern Nigeria!  The Ijaws will be worse off in a 3-way split. You'll agree if you are being realistic.
Have you forgotten that some of the gas projects will be extended to Lagos as well? But yes, I agree, that will DEFINITELY affect Lagos but we have to wait and see. About being the economic hub, I don't see that changing. Other states like Rivers and Delta will certainly develop commercially but will they be able to compete with Lagos? I doubt that. Lagos is about to be the 3rd largest city in the world. I don't think Warri, Asaba and PH can compete with that labour force and brain drain.
And one more thing, pls stop this talk about ethnic groups. It is getting too much.
Face topic leave ethnic wahala.

According to the Chairman of Nde-Nde Market Traders Association, Ose Ogbe Ijaw, Onitsha , Chief Sunny Nwagwu, the recent shoot-out was as a result of the incessant attacks on them by the suspected hoodlums.

“We wish to state that the original group that had been doing the job of unloading and loading, security of our goods and shops for over 15 years are Nde-Nde market securities. We thought that the group camped at Ose Nku Ogbe-Ijaw who subdued the market securitymen were real MASSOB members, until we started experiencing subjections, hijacking of our goods and imposition of levies called MASSOB levy”

Bola Tinubu Acquires Kayode Odukoya’s Bellview Airline

With the pace things are going, it will only be a matter of time before the immediate past governor of Lagos State , Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, gets his name listed in the Forbes world’s richest list. Recent information reaching us is that the leader of the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) has actually acquired the troubled Bellview Airlines of Dr. Kayode Odukoya and has in fact rechristened it First Nation Airline.

Though the airline has not begun flight operations, the Jagaban Bornu has acquired some aircraft to herald the smooth take-off of the business. Those who have seen the new aircraft parked at the domestic wing of the MMA 2 claimed that they have the same colour with the Tinubu-owned The Nation newspaper.

Though the amount the master politician purchased the airline could not be confirmed at the time of going to press, it will no doubt set the former governor back by millions of dollars. In fact, Aviation workers claimed that the ex-governor could not have paid anything less than $300 million for the acquisition of the airline.

It would be recalled that Chief Jimoh Ibrahim had earlier bought EAS Airlines, which he starved of funds before he later bought 49 percent shares of Virgin Nigeria which cannot be said to be in a steadier state than Bellview for more than $250 million.

We also gathered that in the politician’s strategy to shield his investment in the airline he decided to appoint the immediate past Managing Director/ Chief Executive Officer of the company, Dr. Kayode Odukoya as the Chairman of the airline. This is not the first time the politician would do such. Tinubu’s Commissioner for Information and Strategic Planning when he was the Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Dele Alake is the man at the helm of affairs at the broadcasting outfit Radio and Television Continental, also owned by the Asiwaju of Lagos.

A recent visit to the Ikosi office of the TV/Radio Continental further lays credence to Tinubu’s stupendous wealth. If he’s truly the owner of the companies linked to him, it is just a matter of time before Forbes list names him among the richest men in the world, as the structure that is being put in place there can only be rivaled by that of the satellite news station Aljazeera, and is believed to be in the range of hundreds of millions.

It was gathered that the man popularly called Asiwaju because of his chieftaincy title recently took over the cable TV that is gradually fading out of the market because of the right to beam the English Premier league that was takening away from it last year when the owner could not get a bank guaranty to enable it pay for the right. The involvement of the master political strategist may have brought a new lease of life into the cable station.

The accountant turned politician has also been linked to many properties outside the shores of this country, most especially in neighbouring Ghana . This is making many to wonder if the former director of Mobil Producing Nigeria is getting money from other sources other than politics.

The owners of the school or corporation are allowed within our constitution to formulate certain administrative and academic policies to enhance their investment. If requiring that applicants display a certain degree of honesty as a condition for admission, what wrong with that?
Personally, I don't think the school should deny young muslims admission based on religion, but the school should insist that every student must convert to christianity in order to graduate. Afterall, there is no need graduating potential bomb carrying students who would soil the school's name.

Sports › Mikel Wins Avb’s Heart by Relax101(op): 11:45pm On Sep 29, 2011
Eagles’ midfielder John Obi Mikel seem to have stamped his presence in the Chelsea midfield as coach Andre Villas-Boas has opted for younger blood to push up the Blues’ engine room.

AVB as he is fondly called, prefers the trio of Mikel, Ramires and Raul Meireles dropping Frank Lampard to the bench. Before the coming of the young Portuguese coach, Lampard was an untouchable, and Mikel could only hope for a chance to start for the Blues.

Mikel has been adding urgency to the Chelsea attack, with a number of runs from midfield and almost unprecedented spells in possession in advanced areas. Having built his reputation in recent years as a holding midfielder.

Eagles coach Samson Siasia welcomed the development. He had always advocated for Mikel to move to a new club so that he could achieve his potential as an attacking midfielder.

“It is a welcomed change from what we use to see,” Siasia said.

Sports › Emenike: Life Is Good In Russia! by Relax101(op): 11:44pm On Sep 29, 2011
Eagles striker Emmanuel Emenike has denied reports linking him with a move from Russia.

Emenike who left Turkey’s Fenerbache in the wake of a matching fixing row declared after scoring his third goal of the season that he was very comfortable at Spartak Moscow, adding that he would be around to much longer.

“It don’t know how the media make all this stuff. I am happy to play in Moscow and I think they want to spoil my career.

“Russian Championship is different from Turkish league. In Russia, they play more disciplined and at a higher level. Here, players are more prompt to each other, both on the field and in the locker room.

“In Turkey, the same players had little contact with each other on the pitch.”

The promising striker revealed that the Russian Premier League is far better than the Super Lig and admitted that the Russian clubs play more disciplined football. Emenike highlighted that he can play at a number of different positions and revealed his respect for the head coach, Valery Karpin.
