the richest nations today didn't emerge from resource inheritance, they laboured there. It is the next tier of rich nation like saudi and co we are emulating with this resource grabbing mentality.

This is a very very big lie Nigeria doesn't have enough resources at a comparative advantage stand point to offer free education

Nigeria greatest asset is our human development but nepotism n tribalism won't allow us access that

10 million people paying 5 million tax is 50 trillion far more than what we earn from oil
The world over, humans are the real deal but we have them in good numbers here and our population isn't dwindling unlike some advanced nations.

We aren't that rich o, uncle Femi.

The lecturers marking heaps of scripts are underpaid most times that's why education is looking a little bit cheap here.

In a country where quota system for sharing resources and jobs is rife, it is natural the tribes with more competent hands try to highlight their own successes because the quota system is suppressing that room for recognition of their prowess.

Nice2023:
Most of u what u prayed and ask God for is not the real problem, but ur character.

As evidenced here, most of u here are not character worthy for anything and that same character of urs has created enormous barrier for u to achieve anything in ur life.

Therefore,as u proceed to church this morning, pray more on ur character and stop asking God to kill ur enemies. Yes,because in most Nigeria society, the abstract enemies is our character.

In fact, most Nigerian youths are suffering from character deficit and some have assumed it's one evil that against their destiny.

Continue to pray without ceasing on ur evil character and see how ur lives would change in a matter of days and as we can't all be good candidates of heaven and become irrelevant to God in heaven.

It is how u talk to people that later gives birth to evil machinations around u,ur family and compound people,so always watch out.

For some of u,it is ur character that has made u to remain stagnant in everything u do,when u are in the midst of people,u start nurturing tribalism in ur mind, hating others because of their religious inclinations and some of u are just naturally good at hating others for no reason, hence your downfall.

Good luck to u.
The flying witches using others to build houses and buy cars, what is their own character?
The ones who go to church to fish for new victims and even go and gist anointed pastors of their findings.

Stereotyping, to me is stupid and equally as destructive, if not more, as character deficiency.
Health › Re: Milk: I've Been Farting Uncontrollably After Taking This... by RepoMan007: 10:32am On Sep 24, 2023
fadilaMaikiriki:
Whenever I take milk, I tend to fart uncontrollably, like non-stop farting. Imagine you being with someone and the person is farting every three or five minutes. Honestly, this can be so annoying for the fartee and embarrassing for the farter.

The farts is the type that make the "ssshhhhhhhhhhh" sound. And sometimes the fart becomes noisy or vibrates.

Please, what can I do to remedy this? What can I do to stop the fart? It happens whenever I take milk. I take pap alot( infact I prefer pap to tea), and I take the pap with milk because I don't use sugar. Please, is there any alternative? Maybe a better milk that I can use for the pap.

Please, is there any one here who has/is experiencing this?

Or is it because of that particular company's product (milk)?

Has anyone here experienced this?

I would really appreciate your inputs, suggestions/opinions.

Thanks.
take proper milk and not the one they stripped of nutrients before blending it palm oil fat.

At times I feel prison conditions are too harsh. I feel this way because of innocent souls who found themselves there. Imprisonmen should be about restricting access to reduce or eliminate chance of harming others and not as much a punishment. From experience, some are innocent.

Sell in neighborhood where things are not so expensive and sell at around market price but slightly less.
Good concept because middlemen since the time of the prophets in Old Testament have been unionizing to fix prices.

Corn of around N400 a measure in bush markets is being rushed by same middlemen as we speak yet they sell N800-N850 in city market in same state.

The same way you wailed and cried because Jonathan lost in 2015 and Atiku was defeated in 2019. It's your way. Either your regional candidate wins, no matter where he comes from or all hell will break loose. All this social media noise and aggression at the end of every election year is all because the SE wants to be recognized as a regional power that determines things. Tell me what Peetobi would have done differently if he was president? He stated it clearly that removal of subsidy was going to be immediately implemented. When Bola did the same thing you all said he borrowed idea from Peetobi. Now that everyone is feeling the results, you're now yarning dust. The SE will never be taken seriously. Continue to be doing terrorists in your region.
While I agreed Obu was determined to remove it, it could have been done better by Tinubu. That should be the talking point and not about people pained by their losses.

Allowing universities set their price is the best way to go... I thought that was already happening when schools started increasing their fees... everything just dey confusing

Let the government allow schools set their fees, then put EFCC on their asses, I'm sure many of the school managements will be caught in several corrupt practices, use them as scape goats with ironclad cases that'll lead to about 10years imprisonment with no option of bail, maybe 15 professors from each region, and see as others will sit up
when the schools set fees and student population reduces, what next then?
There is no shortcut to corruption problem Mr man. The person you replying to has a track record for selling and defending western agenda on this forum. How do you tame the already corrupt lecturers who aren't accountable and are already receiving as high as N15Bn a year per school that's never properly accounted for?

That's like transferring the burden of ASUU strike directly to the door steps of the students. It will backfire spectacularly.

Instead let the increase be adjusted to keep our lecturers motivated and let's tap into the cheap and effective educational stricture we already have. Believe me, if done well, outsiders will prefer to pay N1m($1000) a year to get college education in Nigeria.

Hello nairalanders.
Recently, there has been an increase in the incidence of manhood disappearing. This is an old street format that criminals use to rob and extort people. Those being accused are actually the victims and those claiming their manhood disappeared are criminals. I have seen this first hand and this is how it works.

These criminals work in groups.
They would position themselves around and look out for someone they know they can easily intimidate, like if you look fresh and gentle.
one of them will walk up to you and hit you, before you can react, he would scream on top of his voice that his joystick has disappeared.
Now, this is where it gets really deadly.
Before you can defend yourself, his gang members would quickly come out from where they are waiting and begin to beat you. Some of his co criminals would pretend they checked the penis and they would confirm that they joystick had truly disappeared. It is all planned and they are all together.
In the process of beating you, your phones, wallet and other valuables, even your shoes will go missing. But you are fighting for your life, so you are not focussed on the things they are already stealing off you.
But because Nigerians are superstitious, they would believe the criminals and join hands in beating the unfortunate young man they accuse.

Guys, be careful out there and let us ensure we hand these criminals to the police.

This format works because Nigerians are too superstitious. Those people you see being accused are the victims.
I have personally witnessed it and it is similar to a format criminals use in computer village where the victim gets accused and beaten by the criminals stealing your phones. We have had to recover a phone of a victim that fell for something similar to this. The criminals even almost stabbed the boy just to steal his phone.

Be careful on the street guys. Stop smiling and looking weak when you walk on the street.
You must very useless in life to formulate such crime laundering crap and bring to public. The ones happening I know of doesn't involve theft. They are pure allegation of missing parts and have nothing to do with your silly stereotyping of a wicked crime and new format.
