I would just like to see what would become of Israel without Western backing.

The reason the price is cheap is that they will charge you $8.25 for the following year and there is a domain transfer fee if you want to swap registrars at any time of $29!

If you only want a domain for a year then their prices are cheap!

GoDaddy is still the number one domain registrar in the World and that is not by chance!

I do not use GoDaddy for anything else other than domain registration! I do not host anything with them at all and would never consider hosting with them, Register.com or any other domain registrar!

If people consider using their other services like hosting etc, then they must not be very internet wise!

So where did you get your fact from that godaddy is the number 1 domain registration company in the world as long has you have cute girl in cute outfit on tv bouncing up and down looking sexy people registering shouldnt be a problem> if you have used their services and in your opinion still consider them the best in the world, well good for you else yikes. If you can provide reliable sources, I am not going to change my opinion about godaddy but will only give them thumbs up. there are numerous measures of performance one can use.

GoDaddy are a cheap and fast domain registrar. Their domain registration services are first class. They also register more domains than any other company in the World. In fact 100% more than their nearest competitor!

If you are talking about hosting then that is a different matter and should not be confused with domain registration (the theme of this thread)

When was registering a domain enough to start a website? Domain registration and hosting are totally two seperate issues and services!

Godaddy has nothing to do with whether you are able to view your site if it is hosted in Nigeria. They are a good Company and offer very cheap domain names. You can get a .com domain for US$6.99 per year!

Network Solutions or Register.com are a bunch of thieves and charge up to $36 per year for a .com domain!

I have checked with both and it is absolute nonsense that people state that Nigerian servers are being blocked!

Once you domain name is registered and the DNS has propagated, then you will be able to view your site wherever it may be hosted on the planet.

GoDaddy is a good domain registrar and is currently the number one domain Company in the World!


I will let you into a secret. Get a free domain name at http://www.dot.tk/en/index.html. I use a few of these and they are great. You can use them with free hosting providers as well. You will also be helping the people of the island of Tokelau in the South Pacific!

If anyone here has an ounce of fairplay then they would congratulate Italy on winning the World Cup and move on!

After reading several comments in this thread, it seems that the consensus is that is somebody is corrupt and steals, that means that it is OK for other people to do the same.

I say that all the corrupt politicians and businessmen should go to jail. There is nothing you can say to justify their actions, whoever they may be and whatever their reasons may be.

I would say that the reason that many people support France is that the team is made up exclusively of Black African players. It is the nearest thing you can get to Africa winning the World Cup It is wrong to sumise that just because a team contains a few African players then Africans have to support them. That is a pretty racist view!

17 out of the 23 players in the French Team are of ethnic origin. There was much issue back in France with the native French that the side did not represent the Nation!

The reality of any football competition is that only one team can win! Italy has won the cup fair and square. Let's not take away their moment of glory! That would be unfair!

Zidane lost his head and has paid for his actions. It does not matter if something was said to him. At the end of a long, successful career, he should have known better! Even the French captain has attacked Zidane in todays newspapers!

As for Francophone Africans not supporting France, why is this a surprise? just the same way that many ex-British colonies do not support England and are openly hostile towards the team. This is not suprising, I do not think that Just because the UK or France were in the cup that it is compulsory for Africans to support them.

We are all free to support any team we like. Politics unfortunately plays a large part in peoples loyalties, but at the end of the day the best team won!

Now we can take a rest for the next four years!
