if you believe such crap then you are not smart at all. No camp commandant will ask you to leave the camp at night no matter what. Besides, corpers don't wear troussers at night. Anyway, you obviously know nothing abt NYSC camp life or rules.

Actually she is damn hypocrite, knowing that NYSC has a dress code for all the participant yet she feigns only to come up with the excuse of religion even when she has an option to apply for exemption based on her faith if she feels strongly.
She wants to be popular that is why she is making it look like it is about her delusional beliefs and doctrin, this thing is simple, if you already have fore-knowledge of how NYSC corps member dress, why try to dress differently while still under them? Is that not disobidience of constituted authority? She seem to only have regards for the rules in her church. What an edddiiiioti!

obi2012: i agree with you.. so many holes in the story.. both of them are lying somewhere there.. the truth lies somewhere in between..
The fact is, Jude is a stewwpid Dumbo! I was discussing with my Uncle yesterday who does some consultancy work for Imo state environmental stuff, he told me clearly that Jude was a kind of Junky with little political smarts. He said the man was capable of doing what he was accused of.
It is obvious the man has little or no political savvy, if he was smart, he would know that based on the so-called agreement his elder brother and Rochas had, his position is a sensitive one borne out of neccessity to help his elder brother stay abreast of what happens in Douglas house. Instead, he allowed himself to be played by detreactors that want him out, it is possible that Mr Dina is being used by some unseen powers but Mr Dumbo go carried away and made it very easy for his detractor to find a reason to kick his butt. It is possible Mr Dina is not telling it all sef.

We had a situation like this one too in Camp when I served in Sokoto. A female corper turned her troussers into a skirt by loosening and resewing the sides. It was a serious matter. The girl was in my platton. One of these Lord Chosen Ignorant Christians trying to act like she was more christian than Church.
Trust soldier man as im dey take handle im thing, he ordered her go back to the tailor turn back the troussers immediately, no abeg. She used her head quick. Who cares if Jesus asks you to wear Pant, while you are here, you will dress like everyone else. The biggest culprits where muslim girls, jeez, these girls are annoying, some of them just intentionally want to stoke problem intentionally with their hijabs and all that smelly stuff they wear. I can't remember how many times many of the were queried for the length of the knickers or for wearing troussers instead of shorts. Religion is delusional walahi.

obi2012: Rochas did according to the testimony.

What I don't understand is what the bribe has to do with not completing the contract? The contractor said he wasn't able to complete the contract because he paid bribe to secure additional contracts. Two separate contracts. How did he plan to execute the second contract without performing the first? If he decided to risk his money to secure a second contract, that's his issue. He should be held liable for non performance of the first contract and arrested until he can refund the amount he was paid in full.

The case of bribing to get the second contract is a separate issue. If indeed he paid a bribe, all forensic evidence should be examined with cooperation from the telecommunications company and the bank in question. If the deputy governor is indeed found guilty, he should be tried in a civil court or in conjunction with EFCC. The money should be refunded to the state coffers and he should serve jail time.

So far, it seems like all the attention is on the deputy governor and none is on the contractor for non performance of his contract. I don't see how a Lebanese or Indian or white guy will come and collect that sum of money for a contract and not even do anything about it. They would never do such in their country, why is it in nigeria where they feel they can tell us cock and bull story about not completing their contractual obligations?
You have a valid point there. The contractor is equally liable and should be prosecuted separately for non-perfomance of the first job. However, we can't talk about prosecuting him if we do not know the extent of the graft going on, as it is now, he is also fighting to exonerate himself and give reason why he had not been able to deliver even though essentially that his excuse is inconsequential-what he decided to do with the money given to him is his business so long as he gets the job done. Using his private disgraceful business dealings with the deputy does not exonerate him from the crime.
As for the Deputy, his credibility has greatly been reduced, he vehemently denied ever meeting Mr Dina at his private home in MCC road only to retract it when Mr Dina vividly described the inside of his compound and what they discussed and even reminded him of his gift of wine to him.
Mr Dina also boldly claimed to have met with him at his country home and even described the Diamond Bank branch manager that was with him at their meeting. This guys has recipts of payments, text msg from his number, and just like Agbaso advised that MTN be contacted to reveal the call logs generated from their phone conversations.
The question is:
1. How come a huge sum of money like that was released without Mr Dino applying for any payment after the governor personally promised he would be paid in full.
2. The letter that was issued was only for approval of the contract and not for monies to be released let alone a 100% payment.
3. Agbaso claimed his ministry did not make the payment even though traditionally it was the duty of his ministry to do so. According to the accountant general, he only followed an order by the governor that payment be made directly to contractors.
4. Ok fine, but Mr Agbaso could have questioned the fact that the application was not for release of funds but approval of the contract, how come he saw no wrong in such an illegal payment?
5. What was Mr Dina, one of the major contractors doing at his home with a bottle of wine gift few days after Mr Dina got 100% payment in february?
6. Were they classbudies at harvad meeting over a bottle of bluelabel to chat and talk about old times?
Or was it all conincidence?
Mr Jude has made it so hard for anyone to believe him, at the moment he is playing out sentiments, investigations are still on going but with the weight of evidence already presented, he should step aside as deputy and let investigations take full course.

Duru1: You are doing a disservice to your humble self. Anybody with average intellect can obtain these entire transcripts on the platform of public information act.

The Part 1 above is in line with what deputy governor said in his interview that contract was award on the approval and permission of the governor in the absence of deputy governor.

It is funny to ready that so-called governor of the people had planed a trip abroad for medical checkup while fooling Imo State people he had built European standard hospitals in Owerre and Orlu.
You are a Jerk that has no need for facts. Findings: 1. A total sum of N1,235,000,000 (one billion two hundred and fifty billion naira paid to JPROS International Nig. Ltd 2. Not withstanding that the permanent secretary ministry of works and transport only applied for His Excellency’s approval to enter into a contract for the construction of 3 non of roads namely warehouse – Orlu road junction Odunze street –Aba road Amaigbo
street to old Nekede road a re-negotiated price of N1.150,000,000.00 (one billion, one hundred and fifty million naira) the principal secretary to the Governor conveyed approval and release of funds at the same time to the ministry of Finance and endorsed same to His Excellency the deputy governor/commissioner for works and transport and
Accountant-General for their information and necessary action for the contract which is the pattern
of this administration to ensure consistent flow of funds earmarked for the execution of the project as a guarantee against abandonment of projects. 3. The Accountant-General made the payment directly to the contractor JPROS International Nig. Ltd without first sending the money to the ministry of works and Transport in line with approval of His Excellency because as that time, consistent with exco memo to that effect, payment of contracts were being affected directly from the office of the accountant-General on behalf of the concerned MDA’S that have projects covered under State of Emergency declared in area of Infrastructure especially roads, at the inception of the administration. 4. The committee found laxity and lack of sense of duty in the hierarchy of the ministry of works and transport in taking appropriate steps as directed by the Governor to achieve objectives of the Rescue mission administration with regard to the contract in question. The committee frowned at the fact that it took ministry of works four months in their own words (February –June when approval was endorsed to them and when the overpayment was discovered) preparing contract papers. 5. The committee holds the view that the evidence before it consistent with facts that Mr. Joseph Dina of JPROS International Nig. Ltd transfer the total sum of N458,000,000.00 (four hundred and fifty eight million naira only) in two installments to accounts nominated by the Deputy Governor, His Excellency Sir Jude Agbaso. 6. The committee holds the view that the payment N458,000,000.00 (four hundred and fifty eight million by JPROS INTER NIG LTD out of the N1,035,000.000.00 (One Billion. Thirty Five Million Naira) only received by the contractor was the sole cause of abandonment of work on the project in question. 7. The Committee holds that the defenses put forward by the Deputy Governor, His Excellency Sir Jude Agbaos were totally inconsistent with the facts and documentary evidence brought before the committee. He lied over matters within his personal knowledge and thereby put his credibility in doubt in the eye of the committee. 8. The Committee was of the view that the Deputy Governor His Excellency, Sir Jude Agbaso for personal/proprietary interests (vide admitted receipt of Blue Label Porsche Design) decided to turn a blind eye to loss of public funds by the state and tried to hide under the cover of not making the payment directly whereas corruptly enriching himself there from and thereby abused his office as Deputy Governor and Commissioner for Works and Transport. 9. It is the opinion of the committee that his denial that he only knew that JPROS was paid N1,035,000.000.00 (One Billion Thirty Five Million Naira) only 4 months after the payment, was pre- mediated, and was intended to cover any behind the scene transaction with the contractor arising out of the payment to the contractor. 10. The committee also observed that the contractor was willing to continue with the job. PART VIII

His Excellency the Deputy Governor said that what the governor said was true as to his information to the governor and that he hereby restate that the House of Assembly wants to impeach him and that it was also rumoured that His Excellency the Governor was aware of the plot. At this juncture, the Committee Chairman who spoke on behalf of the committee informed the audience that the committee is oblivious of any attempt to impeach the Deputy Governor and felt scandalized by the Deputy Governor’s allegation of payment to members by the Governor or any person to impeach the Deputy Governor but informed the audience that the committee is a special committee of the House set up to investigate the remote causes of abandonment of construction of some signature roads of the administration in Owerri, Orlu and Okigwe municipalities. However, the chairman sought permission of the governor to cross examine the Deputy Governor on the issue of money he personally raised suo moto as the committee was about inviting him the next day being Monday 4th March to answer to some questions relating to exchange of money between the Deputy governor and Mr. Joseph Dina of JPROS international Nig ltd which Mr. Joseph Dina raised when he appeared before the committee. The Governor granted the chairman’s request and it was agreed that if the Deputy Governor elected to answer that the cross-examination, it shall be deemed as an evidence before the committee. PART IV

The committee further asked him how much he gave
to any of these people 1. His Excellency the Governor 2. Her Excellency the wife of the Governor 3. The Speaker Imo House of Assembly 4. Deacon Chike Okafor 5. Mr. George Eche 6. Mr. Paschal C. Obi (KSM) 7. The Chairman House Committee on Works He said he did not give any of them any money. The committee also asked him how much he gave to Permanent Secretary Mr. Alex Nlebedum, Mr. Joseph Dina murmured and finally said nothing was given to him. His Excellency, Sir Jude Agbaso in his submission before the committeeinformed the committee that the contractor was appraised and appointed by the Ministry though did not emerge through tender. However that the contractor was selected because he showed capacity by mobilizing equipment to the state at short notice which were publicly displaced at
the premises of old Imo Hotel and ready to commence work without mobilization which was in tandem with the style of the Rescue Mission Administration at inception. On the payment in question relating to the road His Excellency averred that the payment was made by the Office of the Commissioner of Finance and Accountant –General who refused to send the money
to the Ministry of Works as contained in the approval as conveyed by Dr. Paschal Obi Principal Secretary to the Governor for reasons known to the two officers. He contended that, had the money been sent to the Ministry of Works and Transport, the over payment and unearned sum would have been noticed and avoided. Besides, there would have been need to observe compliance with due process by ensuring that payments are based on milestones achieved by the contractor. On what steps he took when he got approval for release of money to his Ministry when looking at the ordinary meaning of the Permanent Secretary’s request, which was only requesting for Governor’s authorization to contact with Mr. JPROS at the re- negotiated rate of one billion one hundred and fifty million naira, His Excellency the Deputy Governor submitted that he only minuted to his Permanent Secretary “to deal accordingly” and he was not surprised, as the Permanent Secretary’s letter also meant request for release of money. The committee disagreed with him and put it to him that in believing as he did that the letter dated 3rd February, 2012 meant approval and release of money for the contractor and knowing that the contractor have not earned the requisite certificates, did he not believe that he failed in his duty by not taking steps to stop the payment by advising the Accountant-General’s office as earlier payment including the N200.000.000 (Two Hundred Million Naira) only already paid to the contractor was paid directly by the Accountant-General to the contractor. His Excellency informed the committee that from January to June he had no dealings with the contractor until June when he learnt that the contractor had been paid. He started calling him but the contractor refused to pick his calls. His Excellency in answer to the Committee Chairman’s question as to whether he has not been in telephone communication from 1st February to 28th 2012, denied speaking with Mr. Joseph Dina in any form in the month of February 2012 and only remembered occasional former calls in the early days of the award and execution of the contract and visiting the contractors on site. He informed the committee that the contractor has not been to his house before. However, on Sunday 3rd March 2013, the Rt. Hon. Speaker called the Committee Chairman, Hon Barr. Simeon Iwunze that the Governor wants to see the committee members in the Government House, the committee members were ushered into the governor’s dining area where we met with the elders/advisers of this administration and His Excellency the Deputy Governor with the Governor presiding. The Governor, informed the audience that he was embarrassed by the Deputy Governor when the Deputy Governor informed him that the House will impeach him on Tuesday being 5th of March. And that the rumour making the rounds is that he collected N450.000.000.00 (Four Hundred and Fifty Million Naira) only from JPROS International Nig Ltd and His Excellency the Governor is travelling so that the Deputy Governor will be impeached in his absence. The governor said that this information jolted him that he had to cancel his proposed medical trip abroad and headed back to Owerri from Abuja. The governor informed the committee members and the elders/advisers that the essence of
the gathering was for him to confirm what the problem was between the House of Assembly and the Deputy Governor. PART III

The contractor accepted it in writing. When the permanent Secretary Ministry of Works and Transport was asked whether the reply to his letter of Governor seeking approval for the contract to be executed at a total sum of One Billion One Hundred and fifty Million only, was what he got in a letter dated 3rd February addressed to the Commissioner Ministry of Finance? He said no, that he expected an approval only and not release of fund. Mr. Nick Oparadudu current Commissioner for Works in his own interview with the Committee said that he
was yet to take over from the former Commissioner for Works, His Excellency the Deputy Governor therefore was not in a position to interview Committee on the subject matter. Deacon Chike Okafor the Commissioner for Finance in his interview with the Committee was asked why he paid JPROS International Nig Ltd sum of One Billion One Hundred and Fifty Million only when the letter addressed to him dated 3rd February, 2012 signed by Dr. Pascal Obi (Ksm) expressly stated that the money be paid to Ministry of Works and Transport. He replied that because of issues arising from the management of funds, close to One Billion Naira by the Ministry of Works and Transport for the resurfacing of Owerri Municipal roads on the advent of this administration, His Excellency, directed orally in an exco meeting that payment for road contracts be made direct to contractors by the Ministry of finance. George Eche the Accountant-General; in his interview
with the Committee was asked why he released the sum of One Billion One Hundred and Fifty Million Naira only directly to JPROS International Nig Ltd contrary to the directive on the letter endorsed to him, dated 3rd February, 2012 signed by Dr. Pascal Obi (Ksm) expressly stating that the money be released to Ministry of Works and Transport. In his reply he said that the office of Accountant- General is one and also the only office authorized by law to make payments on behalf of the State Government and that the purpose of mentioning the Ministry in the letter was to charge the expenditure to the budgetary provision of the concerned Ministry. He was equally asked by the Committee why he paid JPROS International Nig Ltd. Without certificate as they are conditions precedent for raising of payment vouchers by MDA’S before the apply for the approval of payment and release of money the contract from the Governor’s office. He submitted that the Accountant-General duty arises only after Governor’s approval. In the instant case he received Governor’s approval through the office of Principal Secretary to the Governor’s dated 3rd February, 2012. It is the duty of the concerned MDA’S vouchers for purposes applying for Governor’s approval and release of Money to the Contractor. Dr. Pascal Obi (Ksm), the Principal Secretary to the Governor, in his interview with the Committee, was asked why he conveyed the authority for release of fund to Commissioner Ministry of Finance while the letter he was replying only asked for approval of the Governor for the Ministry of Works and Transport to contract the job at the new re-negotiated sum of One Billion One Hundred and Fifty Million only. In his reply, he said that the Governor’s approval also means the release of the complete money earmarked for the project, to avoid abandonment of projects in line with the Rescue Mission Agenda. Joseph Dina of JPROS International Nig Ltd, in his first interview with the Committee was asked to tell his story. He informed the committed that he did not apply for the payment but he was nevertheless, not surprised because the Governor has always assured him to continue work that he will pay him 100%. When confronted as to why he will stated that compared to work he has was not overpaid. He promised to show the committee, at the committee’s readiness such works. As to why he abandoned the contract in question, he stated that he did not abandoned the job butagreed that work is slow due to the fact that he is sure of funds. The committee was embarrassed at this juncture considering the amount of money he admitted being paid by the state. Mr. Joseph shocked the committee by telling the committee that after paying his suppliers he was owing before the payment and paying a total sum of N458.000.000.00 between February and June 2012 at the request and directive of Deputy Governor Sir Jude Agbaso he had no money left to continue the work at the expected pace. As to the reason behind the payment to Sir Jude Agbaso, he replied that it was in consideration of Sir Jude Agbaso promise to award more contracts of 15 kilometer of Sir Jude Agbaso promise to award more contracts of 15 kilometer roads in two local Government Areas in Imo State. However, Sir Jude Agbaso was for reasons unknown to him unable to award him the promised 15kilometer roads in 2 Local Governments. This led his company into financial crises and inability to deliver the contract in question. He asserted that he is willing and ready to deliver on the contract if he can get the N458.000.000.00 he gave to His Excellency, Sir Jude Agbaso since he could not award the 15 kilometers roads in the two Local Government which was the reason for giving him the money. But till now he has refused to return the N458.000.000.00. Mr. Joseph Dina went on to provide the committee with his bank statement from Diamond Bank indicating the transfer of both the first and second money. The photocopies of the cheques he issued to Diamond Bank Plc in order to make the e-payment to the accounts sent to him through short message service (SMS) from His Excellency, Sir Jude Agbaso’s phone No. 0803xxxx421 and a copy of a hand written statement detailing how he used the money to the committee. Obviously, this Jusde guy has no political savvy, from the interview, it is very clear that he can't hide the fact that he and his boss are not on thesame page or on agreement. He seem to be saying that Rochas has a hand in his predicament, the person granting the interview is obviously an APGA lackey arranged for the interview to whitewash and cause further confusion. How can the slowpoke journalist be asking him if he was aware that contractors were being forced or coerced to make claims against him? Is that a question or a rhetorical assumption whose purpose is to stir up pre-concieved conclusions even before the investigation is concluded. He sounded naive and desperate for sympathy bringing up some phantom agreement his Elder brother had with Rochas was stretching it, Imo state is not his elder brother's private business or franchise, is he there to watch over Rochas or as Imo state Deputy governor? I wont be comfortable too as a governor if I had a sitting deputy whose sole aim is to watch me, I go kick you out as well with any excuse, Rochas will be stewpid to honour any agreement with your Brother when obviously, he could not have won the state had he run against Ohakim. Anyway, until the IMHA releases their own statement and investigative findings, I no go comment much, Honourable Achim Ihim, Over to you.

In 1993 MKO lost in most of SE states. He lost 3 out of 4 states
Dayo don't be Naive. We had religious Crises pre 1993 but nothing like BokoHaram. A muslim-muslim ticket will surely make a lot of christians and non-muslims uncomfortable.
Again, not ruling out electoral shenanigans, it will take Buhari more than sentimental popularity to win the way Jonathan will be wining in his own region where he is likely to 90% of their votes. Last time, that region you like deliberately overlook as unimportant gave him the needed edge to kick Buhari's butt where it mattered. In places like Kano and Kaduna, PDP did not need to win there all they needed was to get as much votes, enough to cancel Buhari's victories in the north whiles PDP's victory in the south remained untouched. In Kaduna for instance, Buhari got 1. 3 million votes and Jonathan evened it out with about 1.1 million votes from thesame state. In Kano, Buhari got 1.6 million and PDP got almost a million. Meanwhile in the NorthCentral, he lost almost all-Nassarawa, Kogi, Benue, Adamawa and Abuja were all delivered to PDP, then in the SW, GEJ got more Jara.
The problem with Buhari is not so much of what he can do but his kind of popularity, his popularity is very sectional and restricted to the NE and NW, he relied too much on migrant Hausa-Fulani votes elsewhere in the North only for PDP to seize them.
If anyone thinks that CPC too was not engaged in all manner of malpractices to get votes in the north then they are naive. Whatever you accuse the PDP for, CPC did too. Like I said, if Jonathan gets the support of the Northern governors and still get the kind of support he got from the Eastern region, Buhari will have to cry again. If you want to get the true picture of things, go get the eletion results again and observe the voting pattern, needless to say, SW did not ve any serious effect, it was largely a game of numbers between the SE/SS and NE/NW with NC causing serious unbalance in the northern political equation and the SW tagging along to add jara to the already bad situation for Buhari. The fact is, Jonathan was able to get enough votes from Buhari's stronghold but Buhari couldn't even get up to 10percent in Jonathan's stronghold. And I see thesame thing happening with the way his southern friends are quick to dismiss the region again as inconsequential while banking on the very erratic and unpredictable SW votes. . I dey Laugh, this time in Ekiti dialect.

The man knows the kind of infrastructure that supports and attract large scale industries and businesses. Like somebody has said, Akpabio is realy God's gift to Akwa people. Another, the man needs to start grooming a successor somebody that will continue what he has started with thesame zeal and and alacrity, it is hifh time the East moved up so that comments like "go back to your villages" can cease. I see a lot of Eastern business people gearing up for the port especially, it is a welcome development.

dayokanu: You really dont know much about politics do you

DO you think a Yoruba man would care about PDP or anything when they hear Fashola is on a ticket of a party?

Didnt all Northern states vote PDP in Governorship elections but voted their man Buhari in the Presidential a week later?

E.g PDP won Bauchi Govership while in presidential they returned 80% votes for Buhari CPC?

How come in 2003 Lagosians were voting AD in governorship and OBJ-PDP in presidential or in 1993 Lagosians voting NRC in governorship but reverting back to SDP by over 70% when they saw a Yoruba name on the ballot paper

And there is no way population of the SE can match the SW. for one SW has 6 states
all you talk about is victory and not the margins and number of votes in relative term to the other party. You sure know how to argue sentimentally. States like Ekiti and Osun with barely a million registered voters na im make up the 6states na. Guy, don't forget that the 90% did not only come from the SE states, the SS also gave theirs, we are talking of the entire Eastern region and you are exaggeriting the importance of just the sw subregion that becomes no different once Lagos is out of the question.
Politics › Re: APC: Fashola, Oshiomhole, Okorocha Tipped As VP Nominees by rhymz(m): 6:32am On Mar 12, 2013
dayokanu: ^^ The SW that counts in this doesnt have any issue with a Moslem -Moslem ticket.

Almost every Yoruba person has Moslems in their family so no proble with Moslem Moslem ticket

What you analyzed above is Just the Buhari part of the ticket, WHich would hold if Buhari is running alone or with a nonentity. Have you added the Fashola-ACN part of it.

In 2015 with the way the country is Polarised, and the possible interest by the SW there is no way you can get lackadaisical turnout of 2011

Everyone would turn out and vote to the max, Most people who were either sympathetic to Jonathan or indifferent are now stauchly against him.

The ideology of "Let them also have their turn" most Yorubas had in 2011 is gone and everyone dey "zobo-eyed" now given the total neglect of the SW
Thank God you know sentiment also played its role especially amongst the Yoruba voting population. The only reason people take the SW seriously is because of Lagos and I am telling you that Lagos Population wont be decided alone by Yorubas. The rest other SW states actually can't pull enough votes to cause any serious upset if Jonathan should get the kind of bloc votes he got from the East and over 70% from the NC and an average of 35-40% in core north. Again, SW votes in a greatly neutralized Lagos votes is not that much, don't exaggerate their size and number as a sub-region, unless you want to clump even non-Yorubas who may not neccessarily share the Yoruba political sentiments as the Yorubas . Nigeria is very good at that anyway but elections will reflect their dis pleasure at such a flaw.
Besides we are still 2yrs away from 2015, sentiments may change once the dividends of current projects starts paying off. Jonathan will be sitting well if he gets Electricity fixed and does nothing else. And there are visible signs of progress in that direction, that is a fact that can't be denied.
Politics › Re: APC: Fashola, Oshiomhole, Okorocha Tipped As VP Nominees by rhymz(m): 6:17am On Mar 12, 2013
dayokanu: The general population is directly related to the voting population.

Theres no way Bayelsa would record more than 1m votes. Same with states like Ebonyi, Abia, Cross River realistically none

If Buhari should win over 70% of votes in places like Katsina, Kano, Lagos, and Oyo(States that can easily churn 1.5m to 2m voters) the margin already would already cover the entire voting population in almost 10 states
are you talking of registered voters or the population of the states? You seem to be basing your assumptions on states' population. If Imo for instance had 2.5million registered voters and places like like Kaduna or Oyo have 3-4million registered voters whose votes where greatly divided btwn the PDP and CPC while Imo gives almost 90percent of her votes to PDP who do you think is likely to come out victorious if such scenerio replicated itself? Guy do your maths, jonathan got 90% average in the East because the region wanted to pull its weight and send a message to the other region that felt they alone had the numbers to decide. Besides dont forget that Easterners have large migrant population in other parts of the south and North. If you delude yourself that there are no people in the East based on your greatly flawed population census, you will be shocked when you go to places like Aba, PH, Asaba, ONITSHA, ENUGU, UYO, CALABAR AND EDO. Dey Lagos dey think say na there the whole Nigeria dey. . I dey laugh.

Eziachi: Don't kid yourself, how many of those votes are real votes or is it not stuffed ballot boxes by their elit?. Vast majority of them voted Buhari last time and will do it again irrespective of what INEC announced to us in 2011.
Jonathan need the northern establishment to control the ballot boxes as they did in 2011 and not your so-called money or the phoney grass root. And if the likes of Okorocha work with APC, the sort of 99% turnout they claimed in the SE last time won't be that straight forward again.
Eziachi you are getting it all wrong. I served in Sokoto during the Elections and I participated as a PO, I know what I am talking about. It takes more than sentimental popularity like Buhari's to win an election. And trust me, there are a zillion ways to get votes in the interior parts of the northern states than flaunting some phantom popularity.
An average Hausa person in the village is an apologetic PDP lackey, many of them are employed by the PDP local councils and LGAs, they get paid monthly for doing nothing both being loyal.
If PDP should adopt Jonathan again with thesame PDP governors in most northern states agreeing to it, no jupita will prevent him from emerging the second time. You think it is mere conincidences that Buhari lost all his election bids 3times consecutively?
And anyone that thinks the southwest has any deciding factor is delusional. In the last election, what were the numbers coming out from the region?
Lagos with its huge population barely delivered a million votes which was about the highest votes fro, there meanwhile Jonathan got all the lead he needed from his own region by a staggering margin that got Buhari in tears. SW has little or no effect, the only deciding state there is Lagos, outside Lagos, it will be as usual in the core Yoruba states, people voting based on the fact that a Yoruba man is on the ticket, if that is not the case, then apathetic votes as usual. Besides, Lagos votes wont be decided by Yoruba alone, that is a fact that should not be veiled up like everyone in Lagos shares thesame sentiments with the Yoruba political leaning. Buhari needs to win in at least 21 states, the Eastern region already accounts for 11 from the available 36, if that is not a problem then you will be naive to think otherwise.
Buhari stands no chance abeg!

Katsumoto: And how is GEJ going to garner 1/4 of the votes cast in 24 states? It is looking increasingly impossible for GEJ to win in 2015. No amount of 100% returns for GEJ in the SS/SS will give him victory.

For GEJ to think of winning, he has to up his game considerably. So far he has failed and the whole world is watching.
hahahahahah. . . GEJ does not have to be popular in the North to get the required votes, PDP has an unsurmountable structure that is rooted deep into the desert villages of the North. PDP has enough money to influence many of the voters and the polling officers. You need to witness elections in the core north first before drawing conclusions, PDP is so hugely popular there, abi you think say many of them that are employed by the PDP grassroot governments there will lose their jobs because they love Buhari, I dey laugh.
