Hahahah. . .he does not even know what an adjective actually does. "Grown up man". . .lol. . What does that even mean? It is like saying pretty beauty, dumb dumb dumb. You know nothing, just shut it and stop this lame attempt to butt in into sth you don't understand. What a dolt! |
eyenCalabar: Thank God you've agreed with "most" of my points. Atleast my arguments are not completely empty as rhymz claim. I wish we could see face to face to argue this once again. I love arguments but not senseless ones like between you and rhymz. Pls leave him alone. Silence still remains the best answer to a f00l.so you are going to be gay just so you can spite one smart irritant on NL they call rhymz. .lol. . I see how much you are willing to go just to make your dumb points. |
eyenCalabar: Thank God you've agreed with "most" of my points. Atleast my arguments are not completely empty as rhymz claim. I wish we could see face to face to argue this once again. I love arguments but not senseless ones like between you and rhymz. Pls leave him alone. Silence still remains the best answer to a f00l.You are better off in silence when people with superior I.Q make comments too complex for your peanut brain to comprehend lest you expose yourself as a DOLT! |
Go and play with sand and stop quoting me please. You are a waste of time. Come back in 10 years.
hahahahah. . .don't be mad at the fact that you are not that smart, I don't know how painful that must feel but I understand. . .lol. Now go and do your monkey argument with your fellow below average I.Q mate, EyenCalabar or whatever the dullard calls himself. The both of you are a perfect pair of ignorant MOFOs making senseless arguments. |
delkuf: There is nothing like a right religion because religion itself is wrong. And xtianity is not religion. is a way of life, a relatnship. islam may claim their's is d one true religion, but xtianity is notguy come off it jor. So when you are asked what is your religion, what do you say? Dumb way to make your point with such a useless argument. Just because in the heat of sermon and energetic use of soundbites, your pastor claims that christianity is not a religion, it does not neccessarily change the fact it is. It is like those preposterous faith activities they do in Churches, they say this year is your year of breakthrough, the next year it is your year of open doors, another year it is your year of divine abundance yet majority of the congregation go back home to drink garri from year to year, the fact of their poverty level or average level of financial empowerment is not changed or altered just because you choose to believe it has. Christianity is a religion with organized belief systems and worship litanies just like everyother religion, it does not matter what your pastor has taught you to claim about it, when you fill out a form that request for your religion, you damn well will put down christianity, so stop all that ignorant argument. |
eyenCalabar: Bro, let's not argue too much. But let's have an understanding here: In our society today, from 18 years of age, you can deferentiate between good and evil. You can live on your own. You can be hold responsible for your actions. But if at this time you were not taught or grounded in morals, you are bound to mess up. So this is the old age the Bible is referring to not when you are at/from 70. Again, don't forget that at 18, you are a grown up. I agree that the Bible uses old and not grown up but I wasn't quoting the Bible rather I made reference to that scripture. Hope you are satisfied now.pile of hokum! It appears your understanding is backward. . .lol |
Adult, why don't you correct me (if you can) and give me sources to back up your claims? Then and only then between the two of us we would know who is the ignoramous. You boasted you would make minced meat of me. Challenge accepted but give me your sources. Even when writing a paper in University (if you have ever done that) you are compelled to give citations and reference your sources. Since you are so educated all I ask is debunk my claims about "grown up" being used in the context of an adjective with proper references showing that and not by ranting senselessly.
hahahahah. . . Why are you making me do this to you. Well I do not need a reference to school you on this one, here it is; Grow up is a verbal phrase and grown up is the past participle of grow up, however, if you must use it as an adjective or a noun, it must have a hyphen between the two words. Example: You are a very Dull grown-up person. . Lol now, how is that for a correction? |
Ok thank you for teaching me all knowing rhymz. Since you are the father of all knowledge I will hereby ignore the personal research i did and disregard the sources i used to back up my claims from which are http://grammar.ccc.commnet.edu/grammar/adjectives.htm and Microsoft® Encarta® 2009. © 1993-2008 Microsoft Corporation. All rights reserved. Instead I would solely take the words of a juvenile troll. Thank you once again. By the way how old are you again?
kid, your research is misplaced, don't act like it does anything to your error. You are obviously mixing up adjectival phrases, nouns and adjectives, plus you obviously have a flawed understanding of what adjectives do and how they can be used. |
eyenCalabar: So what happened? This is a simple logical reasoning sire. He was not well grounded orpn morals. Simple!BULLSHYTE |
Adjectives are words that describe or modify another person or thing in the sentence. The Articles — a, an, and the — are adjectives. the tall professor the lugubrious lieutenant a solid commitment a month's pay a six-year-old child the unhappiest, richest man
the bolded are not adjectives either. . .lol. . Your understanding of parts of speech is greatly flawed. I want to make minced meat off your confused mind, it is fun schooling ignoramuses and seeing them reacting with stupifying doses of their ignorance. . .lol |
How old are you? I have explained things to you and given you sources instead you choose to insult me because you have nothing else to say. Every Tom D.ick and Harry can insult. Even if you cant you can always google the worst kind of insult then copy and paste but maturity should enable an individual to know better. So i ask again, how old are you? I refrain from answering you. Maybe in 5-10 years time we can have a conversation.
Old enough to school your ignorant mind on the imperatives of properly written grammar and structure. What are you going to claim next, that those phrases you use are also adjectives ?lol. . .what a tragic show of ignorance. |

The Articles — a, an, and the — are adjectives. the tall professor the lugubrious lieutenant a solid commitment a month's pay a six-year-old child the unhappiest, richest man http://grammar.ccc.commnet.edu/grammar/adjectives.htm so also: A grown up person. It could also be used as a noun. for example adult: an adult person (usually used by or to children) Ask a grown-up to put it in the oven for you. Are you still laughing? Don't be in a hurry to show your ignorance. If you don't agree with what someone else says feel free to refute it but be sure of what you are saying. OK?
I laugh in swahili. . .hahahahahah. . . You don't know and do not know that you do not know. . .lol. Again, I will repeat it and correct your ignorant mind, grown up is not an adjective and can't be used as one. Even your phrase: "Grown up man" sounds odd and dumb. It is a noun for Bleep sake, you empty-headed nincompoop trying so hard to sound smart. Your school teacher needs to be shot in the head for not teaching you properly, what a waste of tax payers' money. |
Simply put: GROWN UP: adjective 1. fully mature: fully developed and mature 2. for adults: relating to or for adults OLD having lived long: having lived for many years in comparison with others senior: showing physical or mental characteristics sometimes associated with long life OLD AGE later years of life: the latter years of somebody's life lived out to its full term. kabaka1: because Damoche may have become a celebrity one day because of his music talent n ambition, but his dreams has reached a dead end because of his bad decision of being a cultist and he paid the ultimate price 4 his decision. naptu2: The Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (1999) grants them the right to practice and manifest their religion in public. The High Court of Lagos State has ruled that school children have the right to wear the hijab (as granted to them by the constitution) and no school rules can deprive them of their right.Bullshyt! Can you point out the section in the constitution that confers rights to female muslim students to wear hijabs or physically manifest themselves in way not consistent with the rules and regulation guiding any public organizations code of dressing. It will be interesting to read that. |
sharp man: This story does not make sense. It is clearly exaggerated.this is the first comment here that points to main fact here, the story is an exaggerated one. It makes no sense that a principal will flog a little girl of 12yrs 43 strokes of the cane just for wearing Hijab. All we have is the story of a journalist whose religious allegiance we don't even know. It takes common sense to figure out that this is pure journalistic embelishment, an exaggerated version of what realy happened. Until the school or the Principal releases her own side of the story, I am afraid I can't believe this obviously flawed and exaggerated story. By the way, every student should stick to the accepted mode of dressing in school, if it violates the rules, don't expect to be treated with understanding. I doubt there is any such right that allows anyone to exhibit or manifest every aspect of your religion everywhere you go as claimed by the writer, it is obvious that there is no objectivity in this write up. Its motive is to steer emotions in people and nothing more. 43 strokes indeed! |
UNITED MAN: I can confirm that light is a bit stable in onitsha but still very poor in d sw generally. Nice1 though.Onitsha is one of the best cities when it comes to Light. You can be sure of constant electricity there so long as you continue to recharge your prepaid metres. Very impressive I must say. |
RedReact: Well, you are right and wrong. One of those preposterous, feel-good-about-your-relligion, crappy lingos and soundbites typical of all these new generation preachers. It still does not change the fact that christianity just like every other religions is what it is; a fvckin religion. Save us all that " how God get to you" crap! I bet you will put christianity in your forms when asked which religion you are, yet for convenience sake you lots mouth off about how christianity is not a religion. |
chucky234: Since when has beauty become a major criteria in choosing a wife?blablabla. . . The last time I read sb give all these excuses for marrying an average looking woman, he was just going on and on abt inner beauty...lol....you only make such efforts to explain if realy it is obvious the woman aint that fion. |
Seriously, I can't call the BS and Hate-filled posts and threads that have become the trademark of Nairaland knowledge. That's garbage! But the thing is, I like to be here cos it is mini-Nigeria where any riff-raff can come in and insult his betters. Yeah, at least for once, you can feel Good about the fact that you can tell a Prof to shut the hell up here without any fear of being dealth with. Here, you can reveal all manner of sides about you without anyone finding out who exactly you are. Again, seun allows you to say out your hate for other tribes loud and clear without any fear of being bleeped up. . Here even fugly girls get to do shakara for guyz that wont even say hi to them in real life even if they opened their yansh. This is the only forum where words are ridiculously translated into meaningless soundbites just so google does not get offended. .lol. NL is fun because it is a reflection of our very demeaning values, it is fun to be here because it is classless and ghetto. So yeah, if I want to lose my sanity or curse out my Non-Igbo boss or coleagues pissing me off, I log on to NL. Yeah, now you know why I am here. |
Brad and Angelina. Will and Jada. David and Victoria.
lol. . .more like Brad and Jennifa Aniston. Will and Jada is tragic David and Victoria is even more tragic. |

Bmas01: yes Jesus didn't say my religion is christianity hence christianity is nt a religion coz its not in d bible.it was only paul dat says his followers shall b call christian forgeting dat Jesus preaches oneness of GOD that is ISLAM (so don't be carried away about hetred)so Paul is an imposter, right? But he is the original constructor of the christian faith. |
^ Aunty Ileke, this is not about complexion. I don't understand why so many folks tend to think that whenever the beauty of a dark skinned woman is criticized, then one must be implying that her skin color is the culprit. Besides, you have always made known your preference for good looking men, why shouldn't men be accorded the same rights? ![]() But ugly people don suffer sha. Hot folks want hot folks; ugly people want hot folks. I tire.
|
churchillfrank: Good wife is not by beautylike say there are no fine women that are good. I hear o. With the way the guy take fine reach, u would xpect that his wife would be super fion like him. Anyway, I ve noticed that very fion men do not marry fion women most of the times. Have you seen Ramsey Nouah's wife? Average as well. If you ask now dem go say na good character like say fine women no fit get fion character too....i hear o |
Now Seun is realizing that his site is gradually going to the dogs: NL politics section is the most repugnant part of the forum or any other forum anyone will dare to comment. Coupled with very bias moderators that sometimes select and decide which comment they deem fit as offensive or a troll, the most annoying is the kind of topics that they select to be on the front page, it is like Mods purposely select inciting threads to be on the front page only to start acting like they did not see it coming when nonsense starts oozing out of such petty venture. |
Insanity: How U dey? Been a while, i tried to send you IMs but its not delivering. i have the PDMS 12.0 sp4 in my laptop now with the raw files, its a pity you are not yet back. Am through with my training, will be leaving lagos next tomorrow. i did the last stage of my training with the 12.0sp4, ie structures & ASL. How are We gonna do it? Kingsleyinfo: sorry guysNo problem bro. . .i finally installed it through the help of a nairalander on this thread while on whatsapp. It only took marking of all the modules during installation for it to properly install. Also, I discovered the 12.6 version was very much different from the 11.6 that is always used during trainings plus the fact that the training video is in 11.6 version. I had to install that as well. So it is ok. . .would like to see you when I am in Lagos. Are you anywhere around PH, Aba or Owerri. . . And how much do you know abt P&ID |
